I bought one and it came in damaged and wouldn’t come out of protection mode. Sent it back and got a replacement and lasted 2 days with minimal use and blew up. I sent it back and got my money back. I bought the skar 2000 watt and been happy with it
I just bought one for 150 it’s pushing two Kenwood 700 watt 10”’s and it POUNDS!!!!! those woofers are getting a workout on the Too Short Channel on Pandora!!!!

Just over 1600w at 1ohm! WOW! How, some of the big have fallen. Not sure of the price tag on this but doesn't seem like a good deal. So misleading, how these companies getting away with this? Great video, keep it up.
They do make some great products but yea this amp fell a little short. For the money ( $160) it’s not bad really it’s just the claimed rating are way off. Thanks so much for subscribing!

$160 for 1600wrms at 1ohm isn't too bad, your correct not too bad. I believe Audiopipe apcl 1500 does close to 1900wrms at 1ohm for the same price point.

I have a 5500 gothic series and when the bass tries to drop it doesn't sounds like the speakers wires are touching was playing fine for months but I decided to go on a dirt road to see if it really hit with DJ Magic Mike and that's when the I pray it's not my amp hit my mind
I got the 5000 watts overdrive on 2 15" kicker comp c for the price I think it's a good amp 👍 100 dollar amp
Yes for the price it’s good as long as you know what wattage your getting.
Just got a brand new one in box for $70. I really do wish they rated them right. I am ok with 1600 @ 1 ohm. I am kind of confused though. In the manual it says you can't hook up two subwoofers at 1 ohm on this amp. Is it a two-channel or is that just a double speaker hookup

I have an Orion HCCAsplx 3000.1D on two 12s 4ohm DVCs wired to 1 ohm, draws a lot of current, though i have a DC Power 320A alternator, looking at one of these to run instead of the HCCA. Thanks for test

Bought this same 7500 to push 2 15s soundqubed 2 ohms and once I'd turned the the gain up slowly went into protect mode. If it says 1 ohm subwoofer amplifier then it should work at 4, 2, and 1 ohms. Doesn't make no sense why it went into protect mode when it suppose to work as described.
Check your ground and make sure you are using ofc copper wire. Make sure your connection to your battery and fuse block isn't loose
Switch out your fuses on the amp to some higher

Had the od1-5000.... worked fine for a bit then after a week it made a welding sound inside and no fuse for protection
Yea, you should always run an inline fuse on your power cable. Sorry it crapped out on you.

I was considering installing the twin Overdrive amplifier set. The 7500w monoblock and the 5000 watt 4 channel. How'd that sound?
That would be good they are decent amps as long as you you know the real output.
@@HiFiVector Sounds good. I'm currently using the Power Acoustik Overdrive 3500 watt 5 channel amplifier. The one issue with that is the 5th channel cannot do a subwoofer set under 2 ohms. So I actually am gonna use it as a 4 channel and get the 3500 watt monoblock which is able to handle my 1 ohm Boss Audio Ground Shaker with three 4 ohm 10 inch subs wired in series.

How does the test work exactly? I’ve seen another amp get test before and had a similar turn out, but once hooked up to my set up it would have the neighbors knocking on my window saying it’s too loud. How do you get these numbers?
The HiFi Vector DL-14 basically replaces the speaker or subwoofer in amp testing. It gives you a fixed, non-reactive impedance load so you can test an amplifier at a set ohm load ( 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 1.34 ohm and 4 ohm ) This eliminates the need for speaker so it is silent so you won't disturb others. Also You can't dyno test an amp when using a speaker and get any kind of accurate reading because a speaker is a reactive load so ohms are constantly changing so its near impossible to get an accurate reading. ( for example a 2 ohm sub will read from 3 - 5 ohms if you are trying to test and amp with the sub hooked up ) So the DL-14 with a SMD amm1 or even a ac clamp meter and ac volt meter can give you accurate results. If you want to test amplifier output. This is a must have tool if you own a SMD amm1 meter but even with this since it is non reactive you can get pretty accurate reading from simple voltmeter and ammeter.
Have you ever test a AudioPipe APDL1-16001D can't find no test on that series its rated at 650@4 ohms 1000@2ohms 1600@1ohm. Seen AudioPipe amps do good but can't find anything on my AudioPipe amp

Ok thanks. I just can't find nothing about it all lot of 1500-1800 dynos and they do good. I've only be able to find the rating's about it. The ratings RMS @4ohms 650- @2 ohm's 1000 and 1 ohm 1600. I run the sub in 2 ohms it's either on a L7 15 single Alpine Type R both dvc4 and a 12 quantum audio cozmik series dvc4 they're all singles don't have a pair at the moment. The closest one I seen is a AP APDLO-16001D. They both have the same rating's my APDL1 where those little grills the little grills are my have the more circular design the other amp has different design.

so are all these tests your doing to clipping? There is no certified test.
Yes, on my older videos I just did uncertified Dyno tests up to clipping. But on my newer videos I started doing certified, uncertified and dynamic.

Man. How on earth are you going to insult those sundown subs like that? You've got a little over $1k in subs and a $50 amp pushing them lol. If you think it sounds good now, imagine what it would do with some real power behind it.

It’s a one channel amp it just has 2 pair of speaker outputs. So if you wanted to run two subs and run separate wires from the amp to each sub.
I figured it out. Its one channel but two hookups. I don't see why you can wire 2 12s in parallel @ 1 ohm with this. In the manual it says no for some reason

If you’ve checked all your connections and it’s getting proper power then there may be something wrong with the app. Hit me up if you need to know a good amplifier repair guy.
