i used to think that. if he shreds 10 grand because beckham, not anymore....it was common knowledge ,for the last 10 years. beckham was a spokesperson for this mess. he has already been paid and spent that 10 million. so joe is kind of late. i posted all about beckham on facebook in 2012. nobody cared then. i mean nobody. people said he was just making money. i pointed out the fact gays are killed there. and nobody cared. i pointed out the fact the workers building to stadium , where in fact modern slaves working in unsafe conditions .... nobody cared. and now a week before the event starts, its the time to do something? why didnt joe troll beckham before hand. and why is he bulling only him? and why not the entire english football team? who could boycott the event. but arent. wearing an arm band. fuck that. if they were our heros they would say fuck off we arent going. and why are there brits going to the game? oh i see because they really do not give a fuck for us gays. and im starting to think joe is not the person i was thinking he was. is he still bisexual? or has come out fully ? or is he still afraid to come out as a gay man. cause he isnt bi. his whole act is gaywashing. or biwashing. not in my name joe. you do not represent me. i hope you have a lovely day. much love!!!!! xxx
@@nobo764 Can't agree with you more, very nicely put. Joe picked Beckham because he is famous and well-liked so he can in some ways 'gain' from the controversy. David has done many many great things for the LGBTQ community over the years and Lycett has done nothing other than capitalising from 'I am putting on an overtly camp voice to capitalise on the gay/bi identity'. I feel sorry for him.

I recall that the character Linda played by Kathy Burke In “gimme gimme gimme” had a line, …”you’re not gay, you’re just lazy”! But I have a line of my own…let me explain.
I have no interest in anyone’s sex life, I am a straight female , my closest friends are a gay couple and the best boss I ever had was gay and in a long term (over 20 yrs)relationship. Another man also in a long relationship( nearly 35 yrs) helped me to get my first home and kept an eye on me when I was emotionally vulnerable at one time. But, it never occurs to me when I am with them (or anyone, straight or gay), to define them by whomever they sleep with. It is how they treat other humans and animals that will help me decide if I like them or not.
But if you tell me you are bi…(as if I needed to know!!…)and here is my line, then I would reply, “ no you’re not, you’re just GREEDY and insecure and possibly over sexed!”
Bi people are just afraid that if they don’t have a foot in both ‘camps’ (pun intended) then they might miss out altogether. News Flash…plenty of straight people are not in loving relationships and have not had any sex for years…or ever even. I have never met a hetero who felt the need to declare as such, at every opportunity like many high profile gays, do. If you slap someone in the face with your sexual preferences, don’t be surprised if they slap you back with a ‘knuckle sandwich’ IYKWIM!
Being gay shouldn’t be a criminal or even a moral offence; everyone needs and deserves love, & gay bashing is just appalling. But, if someone is anti gay (to the point they will be violent and verbally abusive), they are never, repeat NEVER, going to change. Just as a true gay person cannot be “turned’ to be hetero, a hater cannot be ‘turned’ to be a liker. Be a humanitarian Joe, leave the sex life in the bedroom.

@@trilliarobinson7862 I hope you have many years of enjoying his material , I did say in my op that he has the confidence, just not the material, but I know that can be expressed differently in saying he has the confidence and material for an audience that love it/him.
When I had a "team" at work, I always gave particular attention to the one or two negative or questioning contributions at the weekly meetings, sometimes I felt personally offended but I still worked through the criticism and on balance I'd say we became better as a team.
Anyway maybe that explains me giving an opinion, and at least I listened to the artist first.
