SolidWorks Motion with helical spur gears, and trace plot

Starting from New Assembly Template, I insert two Helical Gears from the Toolbox (Need SolidWorks Professional, or Premium), then apply mates to keep them aligned correctly. Lastly I create a motion study (Need SolidWorks Premium), to do a motion analysis, and Trace Plot. The Trace Plot creates a epitrochoid, similar to the Spirograph toy.

May I ask why did you suppress the Gear Mate when doing the motion analysis, please?

It seems that only works for animation, but contact is what makes the motion in motion analysis.
