LS swap quarantine project gets stimulated. Junk yard hunting for an LS engine and 4l80e PT.2

Hopefully this video will motivate you to get your swap going. I went on a quest to find an LS swap for a quarantine project. Junk yard hunting for an LS engine and 4l80e. The big mean orange man, got me all stimulated so I went on a hunt to find a new drivetrain for my Squarebody Crew Cab.
In my area we don’t have any “you pull it” type junk yards. So to get what I wanted at a reasonable price I had to drive four hours to the nearest junk yard and hope they had what I was looking for.

No 4l80e though. They were either taken out or taken apart.

I did end up getting a 5.3.

Chips Vista CA, just south of San Diego. I would too. This was an all day event for me. About 18 hours of driving pulling the engine then driving home.
