    It's amazing how government officials can't help anyone until the local news asks questions.

      Shameful isn’t it.

      And even then an attorney had to get involved.

    • @zeb5478
      @zeb5478 Před 27 dny +11

      That is the problem. The government didn’t help. A lawyer did it. The government accepted fraudulent documents without verification and gave her home away.

      This isn’t exactly true. Another Attorney stepped in because she saw it on the news. This attorney would not have known about it otherwise.

      Not true. County officials helped the criminals steal the houses.

    I don’t know man! The lawyer ‘asked’ if she would reconvey….huh? What if the scammer declined? Then what? This should have never happened in the first place. The owner shouldn’t have to ask for her rightful property back. Local government should be held accountable. It’s going to continue to happen, sadly.

    You guys only fixed part of the problem. If you were able to contact the fraudster then you should also have the government involved to catch this person doing illegal acts claiming other peoples deeds.

      I'd say a partial win as the Crook is still out there and could from what it seem go right back and do it again even to the same people. Myself I'd go all John Wick and the person would never be able to do that again to anyone. When the laws don't protect people from stuff like this then it is the Duty and Rights of the people to do the protecting.

    I live in Colorado and I had a last name change and when I called them, they said: “are you calling about restraining order?”. I was like whaaaaat???? And then she goes, oh wait a second and she disappeared for about 8 minutes and came back like nothing happened 😂😂😂 I asked whatever happened to that restraining order and she said it was an error and they fixed it. Scary how they make mistakes like that.

      Prison better still be her new home.
      She still committed the fraud, just because she deeded the properties back when she got caught means nothing.

    This is a big fear, nothing new, potentially hazardous condition due to the manner with which we do business electronically, and lack of interactions in-person. When credit subsidiaries closed across the nation, and post office banking halted in the 1980s, this sort of kleptocracy, or organized crime, came about.

    If she had done this to me she wouldn't just get to say "no comment"

    Still need to pursue charges against Yancy. She let these go but what else has she done that we have not seen yet? She is one of those trashy people that can't help but be dishonest and I promise there are other things she has done, probably worse things.
