This Bayliner 2052 LS Capri is the perfect entry level cuddy cabin sports boat. At 21 feet long it is just the right length to make it big enough to carry all the family and handle choppy water, but small enough to make it a breeze to launch and recover.
This boat boasts Bayliner's excellent APS (Advanced Planning System) Hull which gives the boat great dynamic lift at the stern making her hop on to the plane quickly, even with a full load, and run efficiently right throughout the rev range.
This boat delivers great performance from its Mercruiser 4.3L 190HP sterndrive. It has more than enough power to pull skiers and watertoys and it will cruise effortlessly at half throttle all day long. The V6 motor really is the engine of choice in a boat of this size and type, and if you are moving up from a 3.0L 4-cylinder motor, you’ll never go back!
This boat has been fastidiously maintained throughout her life, with extensive service records to prove it, and it has to be easily the cleanest 2052 on the market today. The hull and topsides are in excellent condition and all of the interior fixtures and fittings are present and correct. With the addition of a new set of covers in 2008, the boat looks half its age. The boat will be supplied with a complete paperwork file, including owner’s manuals, builders certificate, previous sales invoices and bills of sale.
The cockpit layout on this boat is all about maximising seating space with twin back-to-back seats (which convert to sunloungers) on the helm and passenger side, and two jump seats either side of the engine box. There is an integrated swim platform at the stern and a cabin at the front which will swallow up all your gear for a day on the water, and also converts to a spacious double berth for the odd overnight stay onboard. It also has the added bonus of a chemical toilet.
Since this is a stock boat of ours she has had a full complement of services carried out by our in-house technicians just this month (May 2012) - She has had a full engine and drive service, water test, hull bottom antifoul, full valet and hull polish and wax. She will be sold with a 3 month warranty.
Given the condition of this boat, at this price, I have no doubt that this is the best value Bayliner 2052 cuddy available today and probably even the best value boat in this class.

I have several boats,
Sea Ray, Regal,Glastron Carlson
And I just got this very boat,20.5 Capri, 350 mercruiser cuddy.
My first Bayliner because I listened to some of the band stuff people said about them.
This boat is well thought out ,
Factory oil drain system, easy block drain system
Stringers solid and sealed in well
Engine way off the hull, you could almost get under it but oil pan will never be in water unless you are sinking
It's a little deep inside the boat for my liking but good for pets or kids
Cabin doors should have had some windows in them
For a boat that has sat in weather the original interrior is in good shape
Has molded plastic frames in all seats. No plywood to rot in them
Pulls great for a 20 ft v8 boat
Will not get it out till next season to test out
It was left to a young man by his GF
I traded 2 nice rc trucks for it worth around 800 bucks

If your curious. I bought a 1999 exact same model only difference was no bottom paint. Purchase price was $8,000 including the trailer. That was 2 weeks ago. That was from a dealer in Arkansas.
