All the dudebro's of the late 2000's really missed out on The Ballad of Gay Tony, because it had Gay in the title. I really enjoyed GTA IV's story, but The Ballad of Gay Tony just took the fun up a notch, and had so many quality of life improvements, it actually kind of made GTA V feel like Rockstar hadn't played The Ballad of Gay Tony either lol.
When I played this game for the first time I couldn't believe the technical leap from San Andreas, my mind was blown with the graphics, physics and amount of detail in Liberty City. Needless to say it's still my favorite.
great video. literally started playing it again yesterday. god tier game. i want gta 7 to be like gta4. the physics are just crazy. the way enemies stumble when you shoot them is atta this world. one love rasta
I just replayed this on PC. Got stuck on the last mission with the helicopter bug for a bit but after tweaking some settings I figured it out. Second best GTA behind San Andreas in my opinion.
*Niko Bellic is one of the best developed (GTA) characters, inspired by the fictional character of Sasha Ivanic (from the movie "Behind the enemy lines") and it also looks that He was created to some extent to resemble Boško Radonjić also known as "The Yugo" , a real life Serbian immigrant criminal that was operating in New York in the '70s ,* *He's arrival by the boat in LC kinda reminds of the arrival of Antonio Montana in the movie SCARFACE*
Recently started playing it again. It's been so long that it's almost like a new game. I'm just over 54% completed and loving it. It's definitely much better than GTA 5 in many ways. I love the car handling as you can powerslide around some corners and it's so satisfying. Died 10 times and haven't been busted yet. It's probably cause I'm too scared to get more than 3 stars!!😂
It's crazy to think that in some ways GTA 4 was actually more immersive with the open world than GTA 5 was. Liberty City actually felt more like a living and breathing city compared to Los Santos imo.
GTA IV was the first game to actually teach me not to become a spoiled brat before I could even become one. SA had tons of various activities and customizations where I get to play around, so when GTA IV came in and removed those things in favor for even better upgrades such as the physics, cool little features and details and the improved hand-to-hand combat system and great NPC interactions, etc, I was so happy due to how worth it it was, and I had a lot more focus in terms of driving, and getting attached to the characters as well as the great story, and exploring and roaming around the alive world of Liberty City which feels very therapeutic so I didn't really mind not being able to get a haircut or tattoo, select more paintjobs or clothes, nor even fly planes when the game already has helicopters where it could land me anywhere even on top of rooftops where I get to kill cops from below so they can't catch me, it's really fun.
In capitalism if something does not earn you the money you wanted , you end up not appreciating it despite there being a niche of people that see it as a classic. Rockstar even said GTA San Andreas is too under monetised
GTA 4 is my favorite game as well. Have been playing the multiplayer these past couple of months. Still a lot of fun when you can find a lobby with a lot of players in it. I have watched several of your videos and I love your humor. Subscribed!
rockstar baby. Whats crazy is I just installed this game for 5 bucks today. I found it "boring" as a kid i think cuz vice city and san andreas were so colorful. GTA4 felt bland color pallete. But Ima replay it as an adult now
Greetings from Iran! GTA IV is the best game I've ever played. I've beat that game multiple times. I don't know why everyone likes GTA V better, because it is an arcade game with a trashy story. I only managed to bring myself to play and finish it once not so long ago. GTA IV has the best story, the best characters, the best physics, the best side activities and min-games (can't get enough of pool, darts and bowling, air-hockey), the best music, the best in-game online experience, the best everything. Rockstar should've remastered this game before GTA SA. As a PC gamer, I'll probably get my hands on GTA VI 3-4 years from now. Meanwhile, Rockstar should give us GTA IV remastered to make us PC players feel a little better for having to wait so long to play GTA VI.
Im kinda jealous that you still havnt mastered the driving yet. Once you do then it becomes hard to authentically recreate some of those wild moments crashing into things. Gta iv is the only one that has a genuine learning curve. I remember when this game first came out it felt like driving a boat-forklift hybrid
This game is so long.. I never finished it. I started playing it again recently, and I can see why I never finished it. I’ve been playing for a total of about 10 hours, and I have BARELY cracked 25%… Jesus… and why is maintaining friendships such hard work?? First of all, I didn’t realize I’d get perks from them, so I didn’t care to at the beginning (except Roman, ‘cause that perk was immediate and I wanted to keep it), but going out barely moves the needle! I’m committed to finally beating it though.. Star Wars Fallen Order on my PS5 during the day, and GTA IV on my PS3 at night. After Fallen Order, RDR2 on the ps5! (Finished RDR1 on the ps3 before starting GTA IV)
GTA 4 had way better NPC behavior, Euphoria ragdoll physics, way better vehicle destruction, and more accessible interiors across Liberty City that GTA 5 really did lack.
Lol Assassin's creed 2 still plays fine, if you know hidden mechanics then it play even better. The Parkour system is still top notch, combat is also good
Unpopular opinion, but i never really liked Vice City, and San Andreas while impressive as a game was too tedious to play/replay. GTA4 was the best of the bunch after 3. I like the more focused map, main character who was as good as CJ if not better, and as you mentioned, the level of detail in GTA4 is more impressive than GTA5. I'm not a huge GTA fan, but I would go to bat for GTA4.
*That's a fact , it's not even a matter of opinion, IV was groundbreaking and ahead of it's time, V is sucha downgrade, IV with additions of EFLC is a complete package, that only lacks some innovations of SA , VCS and CHW , plus IV could be packed with more multiple choices than those featured*
Playing gta4 for the first time now. I think driving is fine even after my time playing San Andreas. Sounds like a skill issue from some vocal individuals
I found IV insanely boring and non interactive, not to mention the pc port is complete garbage and i was never able to even finish the last mission. The vehicle handling is different for sure, but i had more fun with 3D vehicle handling to be honest.
GTA 4 is like this channel, criminally underappreciated.
I couldn’t agree more dude
that comment kinda gae no lie
*This chanel is only a month old... relax 😂*

We didn’t appreciate gta 4 as we were younger and we didn’t realize it until we got older
When I was young, I was there for all the cars. Now, as an adult, I play for the story.
I love gta 4. The dark tone we need that some times. maybe in gta 6 we could have different variety of tones.
Hey Niko! It's Roman, let's go bowling.
also hope everyone has a happy new year
i hope too@@TJ-wf1rr
@@TJ-wf1rrIt's New Year's Eve, let's go bowling and then have a drink or two, bro 🎳🥃🥃🤜🤛💪👍🤝

Incredible game. I wish they would remaster it 🙌🙌
I think I'd cry of happiness
GTA 4 is a Masterpiece... Facts!

Nice video, it's truly the best GTA game in the series both the base game and dlcs 10/10.
I am a still playing it for the first time and I appreciate you not spoiling it.

Ahead of it’s time basically

this channel is definitely getting popular 😃
The fact this isn’t on PlayStation 5 is a travesty and a disgrace.
Cool video, subbed.
I miss punching an npc then running away towards police & the npc would hit me then the police would mess with the npc LOL! GTA 5 doesn't have that.
Even Rockstar themselves never appreciated this game's existence. Let alone what it had to offer. What a shame.
Btw, happy new year!

I remember playing GTA 4 as a kid JUST so I could get 5 stars in the hospital.
Such a cool game, they need to at least do a remake eventually.
GTA 4 is my favorite game as well. Have been playing the multiplayer these past couple of months. Still a lot of fun when you can find a lobby with a lot of players in it.

I remember i had a glitch where i didn’t get a wanted level. Unfortunately, the glitch was gone when I shut off the PS3 to go eat.

I feel like this channel is going to get 100k subscribers
GTA 4 is the best $20 I spent on steam... & the best $60 on an Xbox back around 2009
My favourite game of all time along with saints row 2
You are underrated man
gta iv is criminally underrated just becuase of when it was released
Im kinda jealous that you still havnt mastered the driving yet. Once you do then it becomes hard to authentically recreate some of those wild moments crashing into things. W take. Keep making videos my friend, you’re very good at speaking 🎉👏🏼 edit: I will now proceed to watch all your other videos on this fine night
Thank you 🤝

I know this is unrelated, but will you try Saints Row 2 on the PS3?

Yooo wus gud basement gamer
It's my favorite GTA game but GTA 6 might change that next year
gta chinatown wars takes place in the same city
Lol Assassin's creed 2 still plays fine, if you know hidden mechanics then it play even better. The Parkour system is still top notch, combat is also good
