By now we either know the bands or have a solid relationship with labels and PR which helps gets these done. Petri’s case we know each other well for a few years now so I just had to ask him to come in for a chat.
Excellent interview. Great questions and great responses. None of the questions were boring and predictable.
I'm not as big on the album as most are however. I find it's a bit shallow and it's not calling out for me to listen to again and again as some new releases do. The songs seem to be instantly catchy and don't have a "settle in" period. I find the albums that need to "settle in" seem to be deeper and stronger in the long run. I prefer the heavier Two Paths but I think I am in the minority.

The guys from Insomnium had an amazing second live stream (the first one just went downhill from the technical point of view ^^). They had a big tablet next to the stage and could interact with the audience via the chat and man the chat if this stream was epic ^^ so I guess it helped a lot for the band members to open up and feel like they are really playing to an audience. If Petri knows someone from Insomnium maybe he could just give them a quick call and ask how it was and what are the pitfalls?

The only thing I missed with Thalassic was the ridiculous CANNONBALL snare from One Man Army and Two Paths but otherwise I think it's their most consistently great effort in years!!! Love Ensiferum so much, seminal band for me
I'm really liking Ensiferum with the clean vocals. It's a nice Ascension in their discography
