6:50 याह्या भाई, हमारे गुजरात में शादी-ब्याह या किसी पाक मौके पर जो बावर्ची- खानसामे बुलाएं जाते है उनके पास सबसे पहले यही पुलाव बनवाया जाता है, ताकि उनके हाथों से पड़ते मसालों का भी एक अंदाजा लगाया जा सके और कुछ स्वादमें बदलाव भी करना हो तो उसी समय उनको कह दिया जाता है ताकि जो ऐन मौके का खाना बने वो परफेक्ट हो।
खैर अब तो सब कोन्ट्राक्ट से काम करने लगे है तो ये सारी रस्में भूला दी गई है, फिर भी छोटे छोटे गांवों कस्बों में आज भी यही सिलसिला बरकरार है।
