I discovered a way to make it more unfair, a certain effect combined with ninja perk, no one knows the killing already started bcz there's no sound or bodies to say it, only players slowly disappearing
The murder should not lose for running out of time. With all the hiding spots on the maps 3 mins is not enough time to take out everyone and find anyone hiding in some random spot. It would be kinda broken if the murder won but all they would have to do is decrease the hitbox for the knife and make the sheriff shoot faster and then boom. Balanced
Honestly ask most mm2 players, they’ll say sherrif is a LOT easier than murder, in my opinion too, to shoot players is a lot easier and FASTER than killing with murderer
I think being murderer is very hard and here is why: 1. Gun shoots instantly. 2. Murderer has to deal with normally 3 people with guns. 3. Powers are expensive and not very helpful. 4. If you are a mobile player, you can only throw knife to the targets shown and not where you want so people can dodge it easily. 5. There are just more innocent/sheriff/hero wins than murderer wins. And finally 6. With PERFECT play, murderer LOSES
The whole point of the game is that the murderer is supposed to be overpowered, there is only one after all, and there can be several gun holders via pickup. Although I agree that gun camping should be punished and that the game is grindy af. In every murder mystery game, even the original in gmod, the murderer is OP, that's how the game works.
I mean obviously because of the game being based off the original in Gmod the murderer will be the best role, but also getting superpowers and being able to puppyguard with no penalty is just stupid. Not only that, but you can’t even effectively get XP unless you’re the murderer, and no matter how many gunholders there are, you still have the better weapon.

Usually the murderer is punished by camping the gun via round time limit, and if they don't kill everyone they lose. Perhaps the round time be shortened or a larger XP drop for losing would be beneficial?
Murder Mystery 2 is frankly quite boring. It's the same gameplay loop for better stuff. What do you do once you get better stuff as in better knives, effects, etc? YOU TRADE THEM WITH OTHER PEOPLE. Repeat plus the occasional update that makes you pay money for better stuff (if you don't wanna grind) and when I say better, it's purely cosmetic so really it's just eye candy for you.

it literally used to be like 200 coins per crate, what happend to this game...
Back then max coin bags would be 10 coins, so while the grind wasn’t great back then, at least it was less tedious to some degree.
