Great review. Congrats! I like the 37mm size. But the proportions seem a bit off. It's too tall and short. But the main problem is the strap (lack of). Once it's gone, what am I suppose to do with the watch? Maybe use it as a pocket watch, right? 😅
Actually I’m looking forward to the eventual “reinterpretation” of the Laurel. Seiko did it with the Willard, they did it with the Laurel Alpinist, no reason why they won’t do it with this one.

Cool but not my kinda thing. Still praying for the day we get a proper hi beat movement in a Seiko again
You mention it's a no date watch but it indeed has a date.
Hey mate, yeah may have said it wrong once. The original is small seconds and this is centre seconds with date wheel.
