I still listen to you with pain. You never fought for the people of SC. You neglected the others because you were a sellout. When it didn't go your way that's when you turn around to remember Endeley, Jua etc. Happy the failed you and that serves you right.

May the Lord have mercy and his Soul rest in peace. You deserve our esteem and respect. This said, I am confused : is Pa Foncha a Victim ? Is he an Accomplice of this sad development ?

Pa Foncha was so uncomfortable during this interview!!! Here is a man who suffered in silence for so many years. My feelings are mixed about his part of responsibility ... Could he have act otherwise ? Could he have better negotiate ? Had someone - be it anglophone or francophone - succeeded in impacting on Ahidjo's decision ? I am cautious not to judge this man severely ... Yet difficult not to think that Augustine Jua may have better impact on Ahidjo's decisions. Resigning is sometimes the best tool. At least for one's pride and honor. Again, may his soul rest in peace.

They could have acted otherwise in my opinion. Firstly if we dig deeper and with serious historical facts, Pa Focha is seriously complicit in what is happening today. During the question of independence with one option being joining LA Repulic, Foncha campaigned for us to join la Republic(I do not blame him here). However, after the elections, everyone had a second thought as to whether they had made the right choice by voting in favour of joining La republic. They(the KNDP which won and CNPC which lost) decided to send a delegation to Britain with this second thought Foncha agreeing and was also in the delegation. When they arrive in Britain, Foncha denied ever having any second thoughts . Seriously? After they return and had a conference in Bamenda, Ahidjo gave Foncha a draft constitution with regards to the terms of the Southern Cameroons joining the La Republic. Foncha NEVER showed the other side CNPC and other stakeholders the constitution, it was only during Foumban that the anglophone delegation was given this draft to ratify. Who ratifies a constitution in a week? I am really not sure why the Mbile's and Endeleys accepted this pressure. Now, why did our ancestors Foncha as the highest-ranking member ever accepted to change the form of government from a federation to a unitary one? Why ? It seems to me like Pa Foncha and the rest were just scared of Ahidjo for whatever reason I will never know because it seems as if everything Ahidjo said we agreed. Now people are fighting a war of secession that our ancestors willingly entered into with no pressure or if there was we were never told.

Danu Mekez ,l hold the same opinion as u ,u can even see that the guy is lying, because he finds it very uneasy for him to look at the camera,he is very unconfortable, pocking his nosetrils, crashing his head, removing his cap ,coughing etc, etc, he is really a fool,we can now understand why we are in this situation.

Listen well to this Good Old Testimony before talking thrash!
That system avoided the educated ones in those days and thought that they could used him but he was an old fox. Only with the complicity of the West , a 3rd option was refused him to his people.

It is difficult to say.this is a leader who understood what government was or who could negotiate in clear terms what role west Cameroon had in the Federal Republic. This interview draws more questions than answers to the contribution JNF made to our present situation.

How did Foncha occupy the high positions in the country? His presentation is disjointed, he is not eloquent and he is lamenting all the time. Ah, Foncha you really dealt a fatal blow to Southern Cameroonians, aka, Ambazonia. Foncha, shame on you!
