About that Fnaf 4 bit. It doesn’t really make sense to say that Charlie was originally intended as Williams daughter who he kills. This is because in the Fnaf 2 mini game the letters spell save him (In the one that the puppet dies). At this point in the series, the room cannot belong to her because she isn’t even female yet. This was a retcon in the franchise. However this statement is sort of true just not at this point.
In a cut conversation from security breach William tells his wife he quit his job and mrs Afton says “we have a down payment on the new closet” which basically confirms that William stole a Charlie robot and kept it. So Charlie was his daughter sort of but we didn’t know yet

      I got a theory about FNAF 2:
A few weeks ago I was watching a video from battington and it showed the music box where the puppet comes out then I saw words appearing in front of the box saying 'i know where your father is , I'll take you to him ,but be prepared for what's to come ,your father will look different but you will recognize him , you'll find him next to the to the gas tank' then another video clip shows a security guard going to where Springtrap is (with a flash light of course) when he watches Springtrap perform to see if it works properly the flash light started flickering, when the flickering stopped Springtrap was gone.
A door in Springtraps stage opened the puppet was there , then Springtrap grabs the fence that attached to the door and lifted up the top half of his mask to show his bloody face to the security guard,he (the security guard) ran away in fear.
Now to me I think that the security guard was Michael afton who saw his father and he was so scared that he couldn't handle it and ran away

Overall the timeline you put together is pretty good. I personally put William's death pre-FNAF 1 due to the animatronics in the minigames having buttons like the withered animatronics and Phone Guy being alive when the safe room is sealed. Similarly I put Mike going to Sister Location pre-FNAF 2 due to the Logbook having drawings from Sister Location, as well as sticky notes for whoever got the book after Michael that say not to talk about the springlock suits, something that only makes sense to me if the company took the Logbook back from him once he was fired in FNAF 1 before giving it to whoever they hired after him, which would then mean Mike had already been to the SL location before going to the FNAF 1 location (I believe pre-FNAF 2 specifically because it would explain the odor, as well as work perfectly as his motivation to go to each of the restaurants after William had been there in 2 and 1 since he's trying to track down his father).
Great work! Keep it up :D

    • @HyperDroid
      @HyperDroid  Před rokem +18

Haha thank you, keep up the good work too! :D
The buttons are a good callout, but the thing that makes me think it's post-FNAF 1 is due to the map of the minigames, more specifically the top right having Parts and Services without the withereds like they were in SAVETHEM, and Pirate's Cove seemingly being where 1C would be - For the logbook if i recall correctly, I think there was a page or two that featured FNAF 3's office (or at least the box of parts from FNAF 3) which also pushes SL and 4 to right before 3, and considering it was in 2014 and FNAF 1 wasn't meant to be more then 1 game originally, the odor thing honestly could've just been a joke!

    • @IDsFantasy
      @IDsFantasy Před rokem +15

      @@HyperDroid :D
I understand that perspective, and I 100% agree that it's the FNAF 1 location. I just personally can't see the buttons as anything but deliberate with how simplified sprites are making it so that you exclude unnecessary details, which would make it weird for Scott to add ones that don't exist, and Phone Guy mentioning the rooms being sealed would be kinda pointless and frustrating if that sealing did nothing to impact Springtrap/the plot as its the final phone call of FNAF 3. If they were sealed before William got there and he just broke down the wall of an abandoned location, why wouldn't he just walk on out? Phone Dude found him after being told about a room that was "boarded up or something", so who did that if the location was closed? My thought process is that the withereds were fixed up and brought to the building, but then William went to town, which led to them getting rebuilt with their FNAF 1 designs.
For the Logbook, I don't see why a box of parts couldn't have been at the original locations, you know? I just don't feel like that's enough to make up the other parts of the Logbook. It would be confusing if Fazbear Entertainment was already shut down, and someone would stick a note in there asking the person after Mike to not mention the springlock suits to anyone if it was the FNAF 3 location or whatnot (and I wonder how/why it would get handed off to someone else when Mike burned down the location/wouldn't have reason to hand it back in), and since it is a security logbook that heavily features FNAF 1, and falls pretty in character for something FazEnt would put out, I would be surprised if it was put out by the FNAF 3 people. Then there's the quiz where you're tested on elements of FNAF 1, like the blind spots/game mechanics, and what the company rules and policies are that tie it back to that point, and that's what makes the most sense to me.
It would also be strange to me that the first FNAF 1 Phone Guy call would be part of the FNAF 4 ambience, and the Nightmare animatronics would behave similarly to the FNAF 1 crew if the events were 30 years removed from FNAF 1. It could be spirits bringing up stuff from the past, but that's a pretty big gap, and it makes sense that if they were tied to the nightmares Mike was having, he would be having the nightmares close to the time their elements were directly relevant.
I do think the odor thing was originally a joke, but to me, with current context, it comes off as a neat thing Scott found an actual reason for. I doubt most people smell bad enough to get fired not once, but twice lol. I don't really use it as major evidence though, just back up
Tbh it's also the narrative that does it for me. In Mike's speech in SL, he says he's going to go find his father. Then we get FNAF 2, where he shows up a day after William is there, but William just left. Then there's FNAF 1, where if the sprite designs and Phone Guy's alive status when the room is sealed are to be believed, Mike shows up after William. But because William is trapped behind the wall, Mike doesn't actually encounter his dad again until FNAF 3. I don't really get why Mike would go to the FNAF 2 and 1 locations if he didn't have that motivation. Sure, maybe William told him to, but why? William was there himself, so why would he need Mike to do it? And if William wasn't involved with Mike's reason for being there, what reason does Mike have? There's probably some reason, but with one motive directly stated, it just flows better narratively imo. Less unanswered questions for me XD
Honestly though, one of the cool things about FNAF is that everyone can have a completely different interpretation of canon, and just have fun with it. I might be right. You might be right. Some other person might be right. Who knows! Scott probably lol. But either way we can all just vibe and share our thoughts and interpretations of the lore, and I think that's neat.
...apologies for the essay by the way. I've been rotating my thoughts on this in my head for months, but I haven't been able to make the video for them yet, so I guess they decided they wanted out lol. Please don't feel pressured to respond if you don't have the time/energy

@@IDsFantasy Phone Guy says that due to budget restrictions the safe-rooms are being sealed off, he says it's the same safe-rooms that he talked about previously, so since the rest of the phone calls are talking about the first Freddy's and Fredbear's, it's the First Freddy's safe-rooms that are being sealed. That way the phone call about how the safe-rooms are being locked off cannot be about Springtrap, because the kids that posses the toys are still needing to be killed (which happens years after the safe-rooms are sealed off), he still needs to destroy the FNAF 1 animatronics to put their Remnant into the Funtimes, he cannot be Springtrapped and locked in the safe-rooms all the way back in 1983/1985. There is still way to much to do, the First Freddy's is then cleaned up and becomes the FNAF 1 location due to the budget reasons we read about in the FNAF 2 newspapers (which is why Michael can dream about FNAF 1's location in FNAF 2 - a game that comes before - that also features the Puppet which we never see in FNAF 1). That's why the safe-rooms are still in the FNAF 1 location even though they're meant to be discontinued, because FNAF 1's location is the original location, that's why William knows that they are there when FNAF 1 occurs. He knows exactly where to get into, and that's where he comes out from to jump the FNAF 1 animatronics.
I think the phone call was telling us that no other employees know about those rooms anymore, and for the listener to forget about them too. This truly makes William the only person who knows about these rooms, and can therefore access them. The location is abandon and got rats inside etc when the minigames occur, so there wouldn't be any reason for Phone Guy (for example) to come into the location randomly, and THEN find him, THEN seal it off, and THEN tells everyone that they're being sealed but then continue to say "you are the face of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" because there would be NO Freddy's actually open at the time William gets Springtrapped. Even if it happened in the Original Freddy's for example, there is NO other Freddy's open until 1987, years later - where William still has killings to commit. So the safe-rooms being shut happens BEFORE a Freddy's closes (aka the Springtrap minigames) isn't because OF Springtrap. THOSE specific safe-rooms can't be sealed off if no Freddy's is open at the time - which the Springtrap minigames show a closed abandon location. Only reason Phone Dude finds him in the old location is because he does HAVE a reason to go back to these old locations looking for old stuff for the attraction.
Rechecked and the logbook has the FNAF 3 office itself, not just the box of parts but the actual office of Fazbear's Fright from FNAF 3 itself. Like you said it's kinda weird that "recent" would be FNAF 4 - 30 years after FNAF 1, but it is also possible he's been having the same nightmares for all these years, or maybe even being in a Freddy's location has reignited said memories? The logbook does feature Fazbear's Fright, meaning the logbook itself has to happen when Fright is open
But sorry about the essays too, that always happens with FNAF haha, but yes I 100% agree! THIS is the fun in FNAF, sharing our thoughts and interpretations of these ideas we're given and sharing theories that could be right or wrong, and that we'll never get the actual answers to, so it's all just fun at the end of the day :D

    • @IDsFantasy
      @IDsFantasy Před rokem +7

@@HyperDroid I definitely agree that he would have to be springlocked after 2, but I don’t see why the tapes can’t be a bit spread out, or why there couldn’t be ones that were missing. The safe room in the FNAF 1 location doesn’t appear to be sealed off in any way, and I don’t personally see any signs that William broke down a false wall to get in (and Phone Guy says the rooms are being sealed at most locations), and like you said, there would be no reason for Phone Guy to then go and seal off the room if the location was closed, so why wouldn’t William just walk out if no one had sealed the room? He’s very mobile in FNAF 3, so the only reason I can think of for why he wouldn’t leave would be in the room was sealed off.
Based on what Phone Dude said and how there were already FNAF 1 relics in the FNAF 3 location as far as I remember, he already went to that location to look for things. However, it was only after being tipped off about the extra rooms being “boarded up or something” that he found Springtrap, who was in one of those extra rooms when he died.
For the logbook, and that is very interesting and a really good point. I hadn’t noticed that it was the office itself, but especially since it is consistently the FNAF 3 office I have to concede that point XD. Thank you for pointing that out! I still can’t completely get past the note saying not to mention springlock suits to anyone though, or how the same person who wrote that note wrote the one about how someone had already written in the book, and since Mike burned the place to the ground, why would anyone have a reason to give the book to someone else, or ask them to not mention springlock suits to anyone? Maybe the FNAF 3 office is an older Freddy’s location from when springlock suits were in use and that’s why the quiz is in there at all? Not a particularly solid answer, but eh.
I do still put Sister Location before FNAF 1 though because of the whole narrative thing I talked about earlier, how I don’t really see it as possible for William to die after FNAF 1 with both the buttons and him being found in a sealed room so he wouldn’t be able to tell Mike to go after, and how it makes the smell not just some random throwaway detail but actually gives a reason for it. But hey, most of what matters is that it happened at some point in time lol.
Theorizing is a fun time XD

I have my own counter-theory to Midnight Motorist's that recontextualizes FNaF 4. I think, Michael DID care about Evan the entire time. BUT. Evan kept leaving the house to go to Fredbear's, just like Elizabeth did for Circus Baby's, or would. William, infuriated with Evan, often abused or scorned him for this behavior, hence why he said "he will be sorry" referring to Evan. Michael, seeing this, and also being the one to ask William to leave him alone, takes every step he can to make Evan STOP going to Fredbear's. Dressing up as Foxy and scaring him all the time, locking him in his room, until he gets carried away and, surrounded by his friends whose presence pressures him to act out, takes things too far. That's why he was so quick to be remorseful in the final minigame, judging by the same font color. I don't think Michael hated his brother. I think he loved him enough to look like the monster to him to keep him away from Fredbear's, and away from William's wrath. Michael became the lesser of two evils to protect his little brother.

My personal head cannon is that Mangle did the bite. Not only does she open her mouth as if to bite you in FNAF 2, but if we’re gonna assume that Susie’s dead dog became Mangle as MatPat proposed, then it would make sense that a dog angry about its death would lash out and bite someone who it thought killed it.

I personally cant stand this theory and think its overused as in fnaf 2, 5 CHILDREN go missing. As the withereds and the puppet are already possessed, the 5 children must go on to possess the toy animatronics. Mangle being a dog has almost 0 evidence and makes 0 sense when looking at the minigames and the timeline. We also know Susie's dog died prior to susies death, but all 5 kids die at around the same time in the fnaf 2 location. Whether or not her dog died due to william, it's safe to say her dog isnt possessing mangle. Want more proof? Mangle has a human conscious and speaks in English in ultimate custom night. Mangles very aware and knows proper english, something a dog wouldnt. Also - mangle has no where near as much proof as toy chica has for the bite. I've been saying toy chica did it for years due to her voice lines and her ability to remove her beak. While yes, mangles jumpscare seemingly bites into the forehead/frontal lobe, that's the only piece of real evidence. It's not the worst theory, but it's far from the best and is overused massively by the community. Hope this clears some stuff up :)

Great Video Dude but one thing I want to point out/discuss
I always thought that Evan(Crying Child) died before Charlie and I kinda want to hear your thoughts on this. If Evan were to die first it would actually give William the perfect motive to kill Charlie. Henry had built Fredbear animatronic (I think?) so William felt as if Henry along with Michael was also to blame since his son died at the hand of his co-workers machines. I think that's why in FNaF 4 we see this incident happen in full rather then secret death Mini-games or whatever because the bite of 83 is the first event EVER in the timeline in my eyes. Evan's death caused William to go down a dark path of Drinking (At Jr's) as seen in Midnight Motorist, rejecting and abusing his kids which is also what probably led to Ms.Afton Leaving and as seen in security breach through Vanessa's Theory Tape William forced Elizabeth to make his wife look bad so he could get custody.
I also think that possibly the person sitting on the couch in Midnight Motorist is Henry. I know that sounds random but, Let me explain if William were to kill Charlotte to get revenge on Henry he would need a distraction I think he asked henry to watch over Michael and Elizabeth and then went to Fredbear's or Freddys and Killed Charlotte (Also I don't take credit for this theory I came across it on a channel Named SireSquawks) William would then discover how the animatronics can get possessed and then we pretty much know everything onwards. It can also explained the foot prints outside Michael's Window it's Even in the Golden Freddy Suit wanting to come back home.
Also I think that what Evan saw in FNaF 4 was just William or someone putting on a Springlock suit as hinted by Scott's Teaser awhile. The only issue is the Empty girl's room but I think that can be easily overlooked since why would William create the Funtime's to capture kids out of nowhere. Perhaps Circus Baby's Pizza world was in Development since 1983 and last minute after Evan and Charlie's death used it as an opportunity to experiment with capturing kids and also explains the springlock suit in Sister Location perhaps it was created before they were banned and then it was scrapped last minute.
Hyper Droid I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on this and if you disagree then that's perfectly fine I have had this theory in mind for a while and really want to know what you and others think of this?

This is crazy lol. Just yesterday and earlier today I made almost identical comments to you lol. We are definitely on the same wavelength. And I agree. I think Evan was first. They make a point of saying how Henry had made the puppet to protect Charlie. I could see william after evans death partially blaming his partner who built the animatronic and thinking it would only be fair if he also lost a child. I also agree that it would make sense Henry is the one on the couch. William is spiraling down but hasnt become purple guy yet. Henry stepping into help his business partner who is recently divorced and youngest son died in a terrible accident is what gives William the opportunity to attack Charlie. Ultimately it is charlie possessing the puppet that starts to get william thinking about remnant and possibly bringing evan back/putting him back together and begins experimenting. First with the first batch of missing kids and then again later when he realizes he needs more remnant- which is why he makes the fun times at the same time. It just seems like before he really got a chance to use them (for whatever reason) he ends up getting...springtrapped lol. Anyways, love to see someone else is more or less on the same page I am. Thanks for taking the time to type yours out!

If you ask what I believe I don't think William killed her. The therapy tapes in SB show Vanessa having some of Elizabeth's memories and seems to imply after the divorce she may have "Quit Life" if you know what I mean. As for Ballora I personally think that Afton built Ballora as a way preserve her memory being a representation instead of her possesing Ballora, and for when this happens in the timeline I would say not too long after Evan's Death and Before Wiliam went on to kill Charlie. But this is my opinion and isn't confirmed to be true so just keep that in mind.

My (opinionated) critiques on this timeline
2:00 The man was “dressed as a cartoon mascot“ meaning that he wore a full suit rather than just a mask.
2:46 The game takes place over the course of multiple days, so it wouldn’t be accurate saying it happened on a specific day.
3:28 HRY223 as a standalone piece of evidence doesn’t confirm FNaF 3 taking place in 2023, although it’s obviously true.
3:46 If you’re implying that the FNaF 2 location was planned to be closed down because of the Bite of 87, that’s incorrect. Phone Guy tells us on night 6 that the place is closed down because someone used one of the suits and that they’re hosting one final event tomorrow before complete closure.
4:06 More so due to the characters we see in the minigame as well as the layout.
4:50 The location had to be Freddy’s due to Midnight Motorist taking place right after Charlotte was killed. This is because we see the purple car driving on a highway in the beginning of the minigame, and then the end text saying that a kid ran off to “that place again.” The only place within walking distance this could be is Fredbear’s, as the purple car drove from Freddy’s to the house using the freeway. Also, the sprite actually proves that the minigame takes place in Freddy’s as official FNaF merchandise calls it Freddy and not Fredbear.
5:15 William didn’t stuff the children in the original suits, The Puppet did. And no, The Puppet didn’t allow the possession to occur, as we know that’s not how possession works. Anyone stuffed into after death or died near an animatronic goes on to possess them, and that’s always how it’s been. Into The Pit also confirms PuppetStuffed, as well as what William talks about regarding spirits in The Fourth Closet.
    7:07 Agony / Dark Remnant.
7:57 William goes into the suit on purpose, not because he was scared into it.
8:02 The springlocks were already activated holding the endoskeleton parts out and away so he can enter. The failure was the springlocks de-activating.
9:27 Fredbear’s shuts in 1983, and the MCI happens in 1985.
15:10 FNaF 4 gameplay happens after FNaF 3.
17:02 The events of CBPW had to have happened after the MCI, as William created the Funtimes and Circus Baby to kill kids, therefore after the Bite of 83.
18:51 Elizabeth dies in or after 1985.
    • Disagree with that Midnight Motorist interpretation.
    • I think its more likely for Mangle to have done the Bite of 87, but neither have been confirmed.
28:44 Multi possession is seen or hinted at in the series though, personally I’m indifferent to GoldenDuo.
    • Not sure about that OMC interpretation, and The Puppet didn’t “create” FNaF World, just the pieces for him to find.
    • Thank you for addressing the 83 vs 85 debate.
Overall, this is the best timeline I’ve seen on CZcams. I’m impressed.

for 4:50 my take is that every minigame ties into each other or one of the main endings. When William appears in Fruity Maze, the last thing he says is "Follow Me"; which is meant to confirm the symbolism between the Missing Children's Incident and the FNAF3 minigames. This is then elaborated upon later in the Insanity Ending when it reveals William's motive for dismantling the robots. In Henry's recording, he describes Shadow Freddy as William setting a trap to bring them back to where the kids died, and in that same moment we see a blueprint of Lefty, a character that does resemble Shadow Freddy. Lefty is just Henry's attempt at doing what William did, creating a trap to bring his daughter to the same place that she died, which is revealed in the Security Puppet minigame to be the back alleyway. FFPS has a ton of alleyway symbolism, because thats where the animatronics are lured to.
When Henry addresses his daughter in the True Ending, he specifically says "I knew you would return as well", which solidifies this for me. The FFPS building is the same as the one where Charlotte died, whether that be the original Freddy's or Fredbear's. For that reason, I believe it is Fredbear's, because we know what the original Freddy's and FFPS look like and they're different.

So here's the thing about the FNaF 4 clues that Scott gave: I don't think they're necessarily useful for figuring out the timeline of the current story. I do think that the hints he gave were only relevant to discovering the story of FNaF 4 at the time, but we also know that Scott later changed his mind on what the direction of the story was supposed to be.
I also think that these hints were mainly aimed at suggesting "Dream theory" or something similar was the intended conclusion to the story in FNaF 4 before Scott decided that it wasn't a satisfying way to end the story.
I mean... we talked about the Tiny Toy Chica missing her beak, but the real question is: Why is there even Tiny Toy Chica, Freddie, and Bonnie in 1983 in the first place? They didn't even exist yet in the timeline as full animatronics. Plus, we know their design is pretty different than the original designs for Freddie, Foxy, Chica, and Bonnie. It would be really odd to create toys that didn't look anything like their counterpart characters and then go on to later make animatronics based on that new toy design.
Scott mentions that there were no random Easter Eggs in FNaF 4, so these can't just be random things.
I do think this is why some of the concepts introduced in FNaF 4 are so hard to understand in the new context of the story as well. They weren't meant to tie in to the post FNaF 4 story because Scott has admitted that there wasn't a plan for a post FNaF 4 story...
Then again, he did the same thing with FNaF 3 as well so like... I think the best answer really is that, prior to Sister Location and the novels, FNaF really never had a consistent or planned story.

This video felt like it made more sense to people who followed the story and games more closely than I have, so I appreciate that you've updated your videos as time went on, even though it must have been tiring to make a new video every year with similar content!

What do the yellow lines in the timeline image mean?
13:00 Do note that William wasn't the Crying Child's dad at that point, that was only shown later with Sister Location.
25:18 That hint is specifically about the tiny toy Chica in the FNaF 4 minigames, and not the big one. Also, she loses her beak in FNaF 2 a week before the bite happens.
28:50 It's not just the Survival Logbook, but the Stitchwraith, which appears to be an allegory for the spirits hypothetically in Golden Freddy in a book series _all about_ allegories to things in the main games.
33:40 Of course there's a robot in this game - at least five of them, and more if you count the STAFF bots and MUUUUSIC MAAAAN.

My theory is the fred bear plush that says "I will put you back together" is William talking to the crying child and saying "we're still your friends" either signifying the friends at the birthday party or Michael who was there while the crying child was dying. Since him and his friends have on FNAF masks when the crying child is bitten maybe he associates them with the characters. So when William says "I will put you back together" maybe he literally does. As Gregory in security breach.

quick theory! What if mike has the fnaf 4 dream while he is being used as a skin suit? I just think it would be interesting that after being scooped he dreams of the death of his brother and the horrors he experienced after. Then he wakes up with new motivation, to stop his father from spreading agony to other children.

There's multiple issues with happiest day IMO. I don't recall it ever being considered true canon to the lore? Could be wrong on that though. Even so, in the happiest day ending, Golden Freddy's mask isn't represented, while in the bad ending, it IS. This indicates that, while happiest day does put *most* of the MCI kids' souls to rest, it doesn't work on Cassidy. This helps to explain why her soul IS represented in games going forward, and why the others aren't there. As for Charlie and Crying child's soul existing in games going forward... I have issues with, but that's a different story all together. Also in the happiest day mini-game, we see 4 children on the left who already have their masks on, while the child on the right does not. The most notable feature of his, is that they are crying, before putting on a golden Freddy mask to let the past be. If that is not meant to represent Crying Child then I don't know what is. Also, animatronics having multiple souls inside them is talked about in multiple books, showcasing that it does occur within the canon of the games, because the rules of the book universe does align with the rules of the game universe. Besides that, there is that one scene with crying child locked up in what looks like a storage room, where there is a tuft of hair coming out of golden Freddy? If that isn't what he's scared of, then I can't imagine what is.
FNAF UCN talks about a male protagonist, the one you should not have killed. I don't believe they're talking about Cassidy here. Cassidy is already represented through the mediocre melodies, which, just like Charlie, show that it's not just the leftover agony that's causing harm to Afton, but her actual soul being there. I think the one you should not have killed is Michael. Michael dies in the fire of FNAF 6, his soul should also be incorporated in the nightmare somewhere. Yet for some reason it's not. Most notably, while Cassidy is constantly angry about her death, she doesn't actually do anything about the killings. While Charlie cleans up behind Afton in trying to set the souls free, she is also not directly affecting his eventual downfall. Michael's death on the other hand, directly causes Afton's eventual demise. Because William sent him down there, knowing what was waiting for him. Keep in mind that William tortured him probably for years by this point.
FNAF UCN's nightmare animatronics also mentions to the protagonists that they were created, but "not by you" indicating that they were created by William initially. This helps explain the phantom animatronics.
As for William's motive to kill... if it isn't to take revenge for the death of Crying Child, then what is it? It makes more sense to me that this is the case. Consider the following: Midnight motorist is labelled "later that night" referencing back to the events behind the Freddy's where Charlie was killed. If according to you that is NOT Michael on that couch (something which I wholly agree with) and the "he's had a rough night" refers to Michael, what is Michael getting roughed up by? If Michael by this point has been subjected to nightmares about the animatronics, why in gods forsaken name would he ever subject his little brother to the same kind of torture? If anything, wouldn't he try to keep his little brother away from them himself, paranoid about the visions he's seen himself? About Ms. afton, we specifically know two things about her. She divorces William and shortly after, kills herself. Why? Because she loses custody of her kids, supposedly because William made the kids lie on the stands (see the discs). Later she is embodied by the motherly Belora, who sings about "an empty room... empty tomb" which, based on the hypothesis that Elizabeth lied during the custody battle, couldn't be about her, but instead about Crying Child. This to me makes it very clear that 1. Crying child is the first Afton to die and 2. Ms. Afton can potentially *not* be the one on that couch.
Instead I suppose the following: Crying child dies, Michael (and partly Henry) is at fault. William is furious. He punishes his oldest son by tormenting him with nightmares and animatronics that scare him, torturing him for everything that was his fault. In order to try and punish Henry, he wishes to make him suffer the same fate; to lose a child of his own. But there's two problems. First, the security puppet that Henry created. It's possible that Henry created the puppet because Crying Child got killed, but more likely, William came down in a drunken rage one day after losing his son and to avoid a similar scene, the puppet is there to protect the people in the pizzeria. Either way, that thing prevents William from outright going in and killing Charlie, but to his luck, somehow Charlie ended up outside. It could be an accident, but consider the fact that in every other murder involving Afton going forward, the children are ALWAYS lured somewhere, which could indicate that this was also the case here. Afton then kills Charlie and speeds off in his purple car. When he returns "home" (which - side tangent - is a completely different layout from the home we see during the minigame that displays the bite of '83, which could be an indicator that this is a separate house that William owns, possibly after Ms. Afton divorced him, lost the custody battle and eventually killed herself, leaving Afton with an extra house to raise the kids in, but before Elizabeth got scouped by Baby. This further supports the narrative that Elizabeth is not dead by this point, but is not solid concrete evidence in and of itself) he finds a gray shirt man (or woman, inconclusive in these 8-bit minigames, but more likely a man) who feels sorry for Michael having to suffer. What if this is Henry? What if William asked Henry to babysit his oldest son, in order to know for sure that Henry wouldn't catch him in the act or get in his way, and wouldn't have an alibi that proves his innocence? Henry does seem to be kind to Michael in Pizza simulator after all, considering he did not get fired for his odour.
Perhaps this is just rambling and all of the above has already been refuted, if so, do let me know! I love to learn more about the franchise, and this stuff is definitely complicated.

For the midnight motorist I thought it could be the last day that Michael carried his brother to Fredbear and the day that the bite of 83 and Charlie's incident happens. That's why William thinks that Crying child went to Fredbears but Michael tells him that he should leave him alone. However I don't know if it's possible that William would take Charlie out after finding the truth (maybe even the body of Crying Child buried) all in the same day. It would certainly give William a motivation to experiment with his victims

First of all sorry for the very very long comment.
There is still something that doesn't convince me. In your timeline you put Charlie as the very first William victim(and in that case the very first death in all of the Freddy's location). We know thanks to Midnight motorist minigame that william was an abusive and drunk father or at least he became abusive and drunk after something. Is also probably confirmed that JR'S is not a Feddy's location but mostly a local bar where william went to drink. We also know that the minigame is called "Later that night" wich is probably set later, the night William killed Charlie. But what you didn't explain was WHY did William killed Charlie in the first place. As i said he was a drunk, at least that night, and we can understand it by the way he yells and scream at the kid who was behind the door of his home. So it could be that William that same night was drunk , drove to the location and found Charlie outside, and took that opportunity to kill her, and then drove back home. But for what reason did Afton killed Charlie. He didn't have any. Also he had a good family and a good job, he didn't also had any reason to get drunk. In my opinion Charlie's death came after Crying child death. It would just make more sense. As it also is for Elizabeth death. Why did Afton create the funtime killer animatronics to kill kids if at that time he didn't even discovered remnant. He mostly dicovered remnant after his first killing spree in 1985. For me, initially Afton was a good man and a good father with a good job. Michael liked to prank his brother. But William was monitoring everything from the fredbear plushies. Then Micahel killed accidentaly his brother (bite of '83). Here we can say that crying child started having some "sort" of nightmares in coma. In the end his Father decides to put an end to his misery and buries him in a remote location (the pile of dirt). William gets drunk. His jealousy on Henry grow more and more. He accidentaly finds Charlie outside Fredbear's and to take his revenge on Henry he kills her and sge posses the puppet and Fredbear's close. Later that night william comes back home and find his wife. Michael broke the window and escaped because he was having nightmares about the animatronics. 1985 , william wants to kill more and so he uses his springlock suit. And kills 5 childrens. William became then a suspet but manages to get free. William decides to quit his job and his wife decides to leave him and Freddy's close. And then most of the things after we already know. Sorry for the toooo long comment but I just wanted to make my point on why i didn't understand why William killed Charlie so early for no motive.

    • @codeguy7309
      @codeguy7309 Před rokem +2

why did he kill Charlie? William is jealous and started to drifting apart from Henry, the books confirm this bit. if you add the theory that Henry bought William's business, drunken William and so on... there are your reasons.
And Charlie's murder was premeditated, as you can see in the minigame someone on the third night blocked the puppet's passage. The only flaw that I can see is why the security puppet was put there in first place, normally something needs to happen first and then they will increase the security. And the puppet was keen on protecting Charlie, would it be just because she's the owner's daughter? I don't know.
