You should consolidate your loans. As the number of loans goes up the interest rate on the new loan increases. By having the new loan big enough to pay off old loans, and the amount you need for continuous operation, the new loan has a low rate. As well the monthly payment on several loans often exceeds the payment of one large loan.

Would it be worth having the booze train importing items to reduce the road use?
And I would happily live in an alcohol based economy

Should lower the amount of alcohol the train takes so it's operating more often.
