Reading Hospital Observation Unit: Overview 2017

As the busiest emergency department for single-site visits in Pennsylvania, and one of the busiest in the nation, Reading Hospital has recently expanded to include two Observation Units. These units allow nurses to provide care to those patients who need a little more attention before going home but aren't candidates for in-patient care.
