    I have this bldc fan motor that has ( white, blue, yellow, red) from left to right. What are these wires and if I can hook up couple of them to a souce of DC to test it to see if this thing is any good which two wires should I hook my power to?
    I am assuming the other two wires, one maybe tachometer and the other probably pulse modulation.
    Should I be able to read some resistance between whatever wires or how does that work? Or should there be resistance between the two wires that go to power source.
    I hooked up the white and the blue to DC power and the fan did not run and I noticed current was really kicking in with hardly any voltage applied. So I disconnected.
    This thing goes on the evaporator of my fridge. I think this motor is shot.
    Shouldn't the fan blades spin loose and free without any quick stopping?
    When I hook up all the wires together or any two wires, the fan blade spin does not show any change?
    It says 9.75 volts DC on it.

In general are all sensor type ECS's and all sensor type brushless motors compatible? Now, I've said that two ways. I want to have a discussion about how easy it is to work with (hook up) brushless motors. ON the ECS, what do each of those three wires go to on the motor (purpose)? There are no "signal" wires on these motors, some car motors are sensored and do have a separate harness for the sensor connection, but of the 3 main wires all are just phase wires and on a non-sensored motor like an aircraft motor, the wire order does not matter other than for direction of rotation.

We often get e-mails from a customer with this issue, they note that their care goes much quicker in reverse than forwards. The solution is to do exactly as you did, or to reverse the throttle channel on your radio and re-calibrate.

On a sensored motor you must connect A-A, B-B and C-C if the sensor harness is connected, if you do not hook up the wires in order on a sensored motor it will not operate correctly.

      A brushless motor, by definition, needs at least 3 power/phase wires to operate. Do you have a link to the motor you are working with?

    How to fix lag in motor

    • @RCJuice
      @RCJuice  Před 5 lety +1

      Lag is generally a result of the ESC setup and cannot be changed, the best you can usually do is to address any mechanical freeplay to minimize the effects of motor lag.

    What is a non-centered motor? Is there centered motor?

    • @RCJuice
      @RCJuice  Před 5 lety

      Non-sensored motors are more common than sensored wires, they simply do not have a sensor port or sensor on them and cog a little on startup.

      Thank you for your input. We cover this in the first minute of the video. If you have a non-sensored motor/esc, orientation of the wires does not matter. If the motor spins in the opposite direction of what you want, simply swap any two wires and it will rotate in the opposite direction.
