I R stands for Infer red which is on the front Wave you hand in front of it and it will turn on Also, if you do not tear off the fortune tickets you can rewind the reel by turning the slotted screw on the reel .Thus, saving your fortune tickets!👍🍻
Shilo from new wave said on other CZcamsr channels that there will be extra rolls that you can purchase I believe this coming Tuesday or later
I received an email from New Wave customer support saying "our extra zoltar rolls will be available for sale on our website together with the general release of the Zoltar to the public once we shipped all our preorders. It should be around mid- to end- july."
I just got mine as well and it's impressive. The reason for the plastic (I suspect) is that it allows all of the molded details on the cabinet to be made in one piece. I just got one from eBay $212! It’s like a new wave arcade so I didn’t mind overpaying. Won’t be able to pay the electric this month lol but you can go a few months before paying

I passed on this opportunity...my arcade is already bursting at the seams, and I can't even put the Coke machine in my Moducase yet, because I can't fit the power cable through the hole. The golf game didn't really interest me enough to preorder, but it looks neat! I really wish the machines could be programmed to start up at the same time power is activated, so we can start them up without reaching into the Moducase, and tipping over carefully positioned characters.
A pain I can relate too, managing a mini Arcade. 😅
Zoltar has a motion censor on the front so he says stuff like "hey i see you over there, get your fortune told" when someone walks by. This is my third replicade I also have Dragon's Lair and Space ace. I love these I want a TRON version

What size figures work the best for a new wave toys diorama? Cause yours look sweet!
I will start by saying the thing looks good from the front and the animatronics move like the real thing. I know that the plastic cabinet probably reduced the price but it is a disappointment that it isn't made of wood The door to change the fortune reels could have been made less obvious and without that ugly latch. Also don't like that the "free play" button is so obvious on the side, that could've easily been hidden in the trim. The obvious metal pins for the jaw and head movement are also ugly and it would've been nice to have some way to easily get into the Zoltar portion of the cabinet, the necklace on mine is caught in his collar and I can not get it loose just by shaking or turning upside-down. Honestly, i made the chain worse trying to get it loose as it's also stuck under his chin now. This is the second disappointment in a row after that tiny $20 cup with a sticker wrapped around it, hoping the cigarette machine is back on par with their normal output.
Strange it doesn't include a normal Fortune set like the mini one does (as it lets you see the different fortunes you can get and saves your tape rolls)
If I remember right the actual place the Machines are made is not far from Vegas and you can see the different variations that are made (Pappy, Zombie Zoltar etc), the Machines they are all based on were called Zoltan and I think they were either 40's or 50's and may not have even given you a card (subsequent versions/copies did as the Zoltar prop and family of machines incorperate aspects from them, one in Gt Yarmouth UK even supposedly reads your palm although I've never noticed any differences when people haven't placed their hand on the little sensor plates).
What happens when you run out of tickets
theres 55 in each reel and they give you a replacement roll. They will sell replacements as well

These were pre-order sales which shipped to backers first a few weeks in advance. The regular sales went live this evening on their website.
I just got my two. Both have QC issues. Aside from the dirty interior and the piss poor placement of the gold tassles, one of mine won't dispense the tickets, whilst the other has issues with the head movement. So, two duds. I wish people weren't so accepting of subpar QC. It only encourages further mediocrity.
