Dodge has invited me to see the Demon revealed in NYC.
First, I will be going to a pre-screening of, "The Fate Of The Furious" at 4 PM. Next, I will head to the exclusive sneak peak of the Demon and also meet with Dodge VIP's at 6:30 PM. Finally, at 7:30 PM the Demon will be revealed to the world.
I will be making a video documenting my experience and will upload it on Wednesday.

NEO Auto Good video! Power mode 2 is red key. Power mode 1 is black key. This is assuming of course it has 2 keys like the hellcats currently do.
Honestly I believe that 757 is going to be the torque and that 815 is going to be the horsepower or that 757 and 815 are both torque numbers for the different power modes, in the clip where both 757 and 815 are shown it says last:757 best 815 which could mean black key 757 torque and red key 815 torque. The reason I'm saying this is because if you plug in the values into a torque to HP converter, at 757 torque at around 5700 rps that spells out 815 or so HP which seems reasonable to me. Otherwise if both are torque and I suspect they are then 815 torque at a higher redline with racing fuel could spell out something along the lines of 1000 HP and I believe that's also where the person on the Spanish blog got his number of 1023. We'll all find out tomorrow, but I'm going to stick with both of those as being torque numbers especially since 815 was photo shopped on the actual tire which could mean 815 torque at the wheels.

But then again that might not have anything to do with it either, I'm just going with the flow of people guessing its HP or torque... If you check a hellcat is 75.7 in wide maybe with the new body kit the demon is 81.5 in wide? Blah so much speculation... I'm going to look through the license plates again and see if I can make some sense out of it...

I LOVE the fact that the dodge challanger has the classic american recipe for a car. Big, brash, loud and FAST. It still looks the most "american" out of the three(camaro and mustang). While the camaro looks the most futuristic and the mustang blends american style and modern design. The best part is it still concentrates on being a muscle car NOT a track toy like the mustang and camaro. Gotta love the demon just because of that...kudos dodge kudos.

draggin210 there is one reaso they compare, because a muscle car should be the king of going fast in a straightline for a reasonable price. The fact that a car like a zl 1 camaro can compete in acceleration, plus also handles is why people compare. What dodge has is usable back seat , extra weight and is cool in the style dept. Fact is, if dodge had a lighter platform/better handling chassis but could keep the car otherwise the same NOBODY WOULD COMPLAIN. Nobody would say i hate the challenger because now it goes around turns like a camaro.

you forgot the production plate which the serial number is 0757 which reforces the power mode 1 but the last four vin number is 1121 which may be power mode three but that's just a guess
Middle power level is likely drag mode when the interchiller kicks on, but still on pump gas.
Hennessey modified a Chevy ZL1 into an Exorcist, thinking they could tame the Demon. But what they don't understand is, The Demon is no low-ranking chump. She is a Knight of Hell. And a splash of an Exorcist's Holy Water won't do anything....but piss her off.
Kind of feels weird saying that, being a Chevy guy. But hey, I have love to all makes. And yes I know Hennessey only did it for fun. Twas just a satire. Looking forward to the reveal!

IMO, think of the first 2 power modes are calibrations made by the computer "on the fly" as a way of getting a bit more power out. The third one will actually involve putting stuff in, like the gas and the pcm. I think of the first two modes like cars that have those eco buttons that yield a couple more mpg's.
I think the rev limiter will be at 6,871 RPM. As the 2 temperature were 68 and 71 degrees!

I think you're right but I think the reason it has the 815 horsepower rating is 4 drag race mode with the original PCM
I told people earlier its 757rwhp and 815BHP (True HP around 840-850) Dodge has always undercut the actual HP of the supercharged 6.2L Hemi. It is not 3 power modes its just 2. The black key will give you 500hp and the red key will give you 815hp, the race fuel will give you 1000+hp.

I don't find these numbers to be legitimate as of right now they are all hearsay PERIOD. 815hp sounds more realistic to me. Nothing has been officially released as far as hp numbers. So yeah I see speculation hype nothing more. Car I'm sure will be nasty but until it's officially disclosed by Dodge...Ummm just nope. Don't get your panties wet yet 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

If we learn something from the Hellcat sneak peaks, we find that they do indeed hide the important figures in plain site. I think 757 are legit, but I don't see where the 1023 came from.

one of the guys at a Dodge event told me 909hp. I think the first two power modes are correct but the last one is 909hp instead of 1023

my guess is this, power mode #1 is the red key (i believe that is the power key, could be the black one), stock on regular type gas will be 757, power mode #2 will be the crate ECM on same gas, and power mode #3 will be crate ECM on race gas

I'm guessing that power mode 2 is regular fuel with the A/C re-routed through the intake vs power mode 3 which would be 100+ octane fuel and A/C. Requiring A/C through the intake would probably allow the engine to run harder up to 815 hp whereas power mode 1 at 757 hp is just normal cruise mode.

I'm kinda thinking power mode 3 = 815. 2 = 757. and 1 = some valet weiner mode of 500 or something lol since 1023 requires mods and race fuel it's kinda not really a mode. that's just my guess so might be wrong.
Can dodge or any car maker use the air conditioner to feed the engine with freezing air and in turn achieve more power?
Now, I mean having some type of valve that opens and closes that allows cold air either to the cabin or directly to the engine.
OR,
possibly having an electrical version of a A/C and use that in order to have possibly 2, 1 for the cabin & 1 as a direct feeder to the turbo, supercharger, or engine. (Cold, freezing air mixing with the air coming from the atmosphere)

PS: don't know much about engines, what's available now for car makers (if even electrical A/C exist) & the engineering behind engines, but I do know that the cooler the air entering the engine = more power.
Also, how does the Tesla vehicle provide cold air for the passengers if that car doesn't have any type of belt that drives an A/C compressor.

Yeah man there is a vid on Y-T here that shows a Dodge rep. with a "Demo" Demon pounding the Papa John's Pizza Camaro on the strip...9.56 at 148MPH. Camaro wasn't even in the frame at the finish line...

okay it may be a nasty car, but how many times can you reinvent the wheel or in this case the challenger, they need to build a new platform car for the performance side. ford has had a 1000hp mustang for years built by Shelby enterprises. I hope they have learned how to keep a drive shaft in the car.

815 is peak power on pump gas. that's why there is three power levels. 1000+ hp is a whole other fuel and ecm/tune that is only for race day or for people who can afford only race fuel.

Before I started watching the video I thought that there would be 3 keys for the demon. the black one for standard 757HL, White Key for 815HP and Red for the max 1023HP. I think its awesome to have 3 powermodes tho but I honestly can't think of a good reason for the 2nd powermode.

I believe those numbers, NEO. I'd like to point something else out, that I haven't heard anyone mention, yet: that being the existence of an 'HO' fuel button on the Demon's console... immediately to the Right of the 'Launch' button. It's visible in the Demon Fuel teaser video... 24s in. This corroborates the notion of achieving 1000+ HP with racing fuel.

I mean the Viper has always been naturally aspirated with the v10 8.4l and still killed Corvettes and GT 40 when they had superchargers stock and same with the Camaro and Mustang/Shelbys then Dodge comes out with their first supercharged hemi and its game over. Chevy and Ford answers with the Camaro Z28 and Zl1 Mustang GT 350 and Shelby super snake and Dodge answers with the Demon wow! If Dodge/Fiat were to bring back the Viper with a supercharger in it lawd have mercy watch out.

That's a big HP difference for power mode 3 if it can make 815 on 93 that would make sense but if the only way to make 815 is with regular race fuel(104 octane) the big jump might need to use C16 racing fuel(117 octane) to achieve 1,000hp+ . That's so dope tho I love what dodge is doing with all the horsepower wars first Demon rumor to having 1000+hp then ZL1 Camaro with 1000+hp from Hennessy both coming with warranty. The only thing ford has going for itself is the SuperSnake making 750hp with warranty, Hopefully ford can come up with something there the only ones falling behind now, If they don't well fuck em time to get a demon hopefully no more than 100k though.

yea but you can't really find them anymore for sale plus most ppl are keeping them. I'm mostly talking about upcoming car 2017+ it would be nice to see ford/shelby coming out with new models with more then 750hp.
