I think Charlotte gets so fucked over when it comes to recognition as a vocalist. She's beautiful but doesn't use sexuality or appearance like some do, and that is likely why. She's such a talented singer and the real deal artist. Sick of certain females who are always talking about what an educated artist they are. A true artist doesn't need to say it constantly. They just are. So underrated. An inspiration.
I love Delain and Charlotte but let's be real. She's basically wearing a bra and a coat in this video. She does flaunt it, a bit from time to time. That's OK, she's got it to flaunt, she's gorgeous.
Guys play without shirts all the time and no one says a thing. And I think that is complete bullshit. A bra with a coat is perfectly appropriate. Typical guy thing. The woman is "flaunting." She's not at all, and I'm sure I know what she'd say to the suggestion. I could point out what flaunting one's sexuality looks like, which has little to do with the clothing, but I'll start a war against fanboys and girls so I'll leave names out. Charlotte absolutely does not flaunt her sexuality. She simply is a sensual woman. BIG difference. Sad that you can't distinguish. Scary, actually. But that's on you.

Symphonic metal may attract a few more females but I would guess the audience is still about 70% male or more. The vocalists are mostly women and they don't go full slutty as a rule, it still doesn't hurt to attract audience. I can appreciate Charlotte as a talented vocalist and a beautiful woman at the same time.

I have seen this band twice but always as an opening act. They are fantastic and I am anxiously awaiting their 10th anniversary DVD on Blu-ray
