Simple Air Fryer Curry | Delicious

Today on the Old Food Guy daily cooking show i make a simple curry in an air fryer.

I prefer to batch cook my Chicken Curry in the slow cooker, planned in advance, less preparation time, just leave it until the chicken is tender, then portioned up and freeze what I won't be eating on the actual day.

Good Morning Keith, I really enjoyed this upload the curry looked excellent and in my opinion you can't beat a home made curry unfortunatly where I live there are a lot of take aways which are all quite poor we used to get some really good ones but for whatever reason they all seem to have increased their prices and lowered the quality of the food so we don't use them anymore and always make our own ! wishing you and Nat a great Thursday :-)

Whats not to like about it, to make your fried rice perfectly and indeed easier, if you separate your eggs, stir the yolks into the cold rice and then put the whites only into the pan and cook, and then add the rice afterwards. this will give the rice a lovely golden colour.

When I use a packet rice like you I squash and squid the rice while it's still in the packet. It seperates the rice. Looks nice though well done

Looks good Keith nice to see you relaxed and house the house getting on. Not working too hard. Tesco Nan bread very dry unless you spread butter on the before you put it in the air fry. Too many calories 😂😂

Didn't look half bad that mate. My air fryer is the original style so I'd look a right Pillock cooking curry in that. All the sauce would run through the basket and burn😅 I may upgrade when the need arises. Great upload Keith ❤️❤️👍👍👍

Get a pack of air fryer liners mate they work a treat. They fit any air fryer also saves on cleaning up

I think that improvement in flavour would be from how you cooked the chicken and onions. The 2nd part with a sauce would likely work on a saucepan.

Chicken breast chunks 4-5 minutes max in the Airfryer @ 180 turning once.
Next time do it in the pressure cooker. Fry off the seasoned onion, sear the chicken chunks, add the sauce and pressure cook for 5 minutes, quick release.

Looked really good Keith. Glad you and Nat enjoyed it. I make a quick Egg Fried Rice with those Basmati packets, but i add the eggs to the rice in a hot pan with a little oil, and mix it all in, then add a little black cracked pepper, delicious. All the best mate.
