It's good to see other people with nicer multitools still get cheaper ones so I don't feel like the only one with a problem. I recently got the wingman off eBay and was surprised how much I didn't like it. Really slippery in pliers mode and I mistakenly thought all tools were outside accessible like the swiss tools and frees. I was looking forward to that package opener being much quicker to access.

Yeah, I like the pricey stuff and I am always looking for good value. The Wingman was a gift, and I actually really like it. There are times when I want to go more discreet and a smaller slimmer model stripped down to the essentials is perfect, while still offering medium sized pliers...
If you want to see a higher end model, I have the Arc arriving in a few days. That's the top of the line most expensive one they make.

This review made me get it back out and compare to my old Gerber suspension. I'm appreciating more how smooth the wingman is to hold and the lack of hot spots. It's maybe the best example of what a classic mid-level multitool should be.

@@MrNb131 Yeah, I have a Gerber Suspension NXT and the Wingman is worlds better, while still being affordable.

The price has gone up, and at the time, the Roxon was under $50.

@@SquireSCA just bought the flash elite with bits set for around 33 bucks here in Indonesia
