      If I had to guess, I'd say he was a cook. Yep, a cook who works on a Navy Battleship that's on it's way to the docks to be decommissioned. But before that happens, the ship's Ex-O has planned a surprise birthday party for the Captain by flying in by helicopter a music band with caterers and Miss July playboy playmate who is going to jump out of a big birthday cake.

    your fellow Canadian guy said it the best in every city of the Philippines Its people are so different with different languages and different cultures. that's people say I am Bisaya and not Tagalog, Luzon people are always thought of as having the power in the Philippines. but if you are from anywhere else than Luzon you have an advantage of speaking extra languages on top of the official language of Tagalog. being from Quebec Canada he didn't have that French English dialect that they have in Quebec, probably spent a lot of his time in Ontario. again Alex great street interviews, your subscriptions are sky rocketing good on you.

      I beg to disagree with you when you generalized that Luzon people always thought of as having the power in the Philippines and if you are from a place other Luzon, you have an advantage of speaking other languages on top of Tagalog. "MAYBE" you were referring to those living in Manila and neighboring towns/cities or shall we say NCR (National Capital Region). I was born in the North East Province of Luzon and I can speak 4 other languages and understand some other languages/dialects. Please refrain from making those comments. It's not good.

    • @GG-uw8kc
      @GG-uw8kc Před 2 lety +4

      @Ako Ito,..... Its cant be avoided what Noor said because somehow there some intances where Tagalog look down on the people from Visayas or Mindanao, thinking that we are less educated or very ignorant around certain things, easy to fool and in reverse they think themselves to be more educated ,more aware and etc.....I experience that kind of situation where I encountered people from Luzon who are like that.But anyway in every places there are always people who are like that and certainly we cannot judge the population based only on few individuals from that place.

    • @akoito6361
      @akoito6361 Před 2 lety +3

      @@GG-uw8kc I understand what you are saying but my point is do not generalize because the Tagalogs do not populate the whole Luzon. The Kapampangans, Ilokanos, Pangasinenses, Ifugaos, Ibanags and other ethnic groups are also living in Luzon. Myself am not a natural tagalog speaker. Get what I mean?

    • @Storm_Bille

I have been to Philliphines twice before COVID and I have been to 45 countries so far, I have no plans of coming to Philliphines anytime soon, because the world is big enough to go see other places. For example this video, I would suggest "Asking Foreigners in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Part 1". Then in the thumbnail put "What do you like about the Philippines?" like that.

    Nice to see more perspectives from foreigners especially from diverse ages. I really liked when you put the 2 French girls on the spot when you asked them if they dated a Filipino man as I see the girl on the left kind of pause before answering lol. It was also nice for them to cover the differences and stereotypes of France and confirming it’s partially true and more of an individualistic culture and more likely to happen in Paris than other parts of France. Also it was really nice to hear from Rob the retired Canadian Military guy. Perhaps it’s a Canadian thing to be humanitarian and charitable out of compassion once they witness others who are less fortunate beyond what Canadians or Westerners would find acceptable. Unfortunate that he broke up with his Filipina soul mate but he has a good heart and attitude moving forward in life and doesn’t allow it to get him down. I guess it was a blessing for me to not be in a relationship during the coming years of the pandemic and during as this was probably a huge test for couples as many break ups and divorces occurred when people were locked up and learned the true colors of the person they were committed to!

    To the two french ladies, we have a 1,700+++ islands in the Phils. Coming here is not just for a 2 weeks vacay if you want to explore. Literally visitors whose intentions is to explore they stayed for a month or so as that's the only way they will enjoy the country. I lived in Thailand for many years and I cannot compare the country to the Phils. for Thailand has no vast ocean, many islands or beaches as vast as the Phils. This country consist of more waters than land. Palawan and as such is still a protected spot in the Phils. so Jetty or fueled big boats are still restricted to sail and so small boats are minimized in small numbers.
    Anyway like all of them but Rob is the best.

    I am a Filipino based on my observation in general the Philippines is the safest in the world and the most generous of all,
    in times of disaster as long as you are vigilant you will be safe because 10% of Filipinos are untrustworthy because of illegal drugs by the strangers. who the most affected are the few poor areas in the country that also exist around the world
