- Welcome Voro riders! Today we will be showing you the best way to replace your front and rear motors and remove your tires on the Kaabo Mantis King GT.
The Mantis King GT is Kaabo’s best all-around electric scooter. Unlike its dual-stem brethren, the Mantis GT weighs less than 80 lbs and boasts a nimbler, racier ride. It’s got all of the tech and comfort upgrades from the Grand Touring series: thumb throttle, sine wave controllers, a large, centered display - and more. Along with advanced technology and improved construction, it has a higher water resistance rating and quicker folding mechanism than previous models. It hits harder, feels better, rides faster, and is straight-up stronger. And BTW, it’s really, really good looking.

Thanks for all the feedback! This tutorial covers how to replace the front and rear motors AND how to remove and replace the tires. Please let us know what other tutorials you would like 🛴🛴🙏🙏
you should not remove the screws holding the rim in place while the tire is fully inflated 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ who trains your "technicians"? and why is he using a spoon tool to remove the tire of a split rim? its a split rim for a reason
I think the title should be "How to replace the motors on the Kaabo Mantis King GT" removing the deck plate and undoing the wiring is not necessary for changing the tires.
Thank you!!!!! I was looking for a comment like this. The whole time I thought I clicked on the wrong video I was like “wtf is he doing removing all the wires inside of the deck and sh*t” now I’m hesitant on removing the tyres in case of a flat lmao
Exactly, I was very confused for a second
OMG 😯 I've been doing it the wrong way all this time 🤔 so it should take me 1 hour long and not 10 minutes like i usually take 🤧 This is ridiculous 🤣

@@VoroMotors I think the OP was being sarcastic
I've replaced the tire and inner tube on my Mantis 10, without using this involved process. (The process is exactly the same) all you need is an optional flat head, 4mm, 5mm and 18mm socket wrench and the replacement tire and or tube.
So you dont need to remove the batteries and cables and shti?
Which oil for the brakes please ?
Y’all know this is a split rim right ?
What?? I was able to replace my tube without opening the deck and unplug all the wires. You just have to remove the wheel and open it with the half-rim. Opening the deck is only needed for changing the brake rotor because you have to pass the wire into the rotor.
I know right, you can change any tire or tube on any split rim scooter by following an easier process than this.
This process was crazy. They literally tore the entire scooter apart. Never in a million years
Unfortunately when changing tires yesterday I noticed my rotor was warped. So now I will have to go through this ridiculous process at some point when my pads are worn out unevenly because of it. Not looking forward to this process at all.
Jeez... maybe just add a quick disconnect to the motors.
Congrats for the video. A kind question: In your opinion, are the handlebars too high for a 1.70 m person? I would need to know the height from the footboard to the steering knob to realize this.
🎉 Stem replacement tutorial please! 😭😅😢 I understand that there is a problem with the stem in the first Kaabo King GT, it would be a good idea to show us how to change it please!
Too much work for the tires right?😅 or does the cable the reason why you need to remove the deck & wires etc?
Lol🤣🤣🤣🤣 i replaced mine without opening the deck. This is so ridiculous. Lol
I’m now scared of changing my tyres. Was this really necessary?????
Does the tread rubber stick right back, or does it need extra glue?
The first couple times it will stay sticky enough to stay down, after that some rubber cement will be needed.
Removing hall sensors 100% unnecessary for tire change but would still like indepth instructions on removing and installing hall sensor wires for rotor/motor replacement.
Truth - we were demonstrating more than just the tires being swapped. Thanks for the request for the hall sensor wires.
You guys need to sell Surrons
wait... wait wait wait... to fix a flat i need to gut the deck? hahaha! like can you imagine if AAA showed up to fix a car flat and opened the hood? if to fix a bicycle flat the mech started loosening the crank arms. good gods.
Hi David, please see the pinned comment just under the video for reference.
Uhhh… no thank you. I like my way of replacing the tires better… remove fender, remove right swingarm (side without brake disk), remove split rim bolts and replace tube/tire. Takes about 5 minutes and you don’t even have to remove the wheel. C’mon guys.
Do I really need to put the old rotor on before I put the new rotor on? 🤣
Absurdity: What engineer would make this so hard for a tire change especially on a tube tire that seems to get a flat every 100 miles. I so regret buying this POS!
Why in the name of greyskull would kaabo run the rear motor wires through a tube smaller than the connector on the wire??? Has the kaabo engineers ever heard of a slot? Just run a grinder down the length of the tube and boom, fixed, you no longer need to de-pin a connector to change a brake rotor.
Where do I get a pin removal tool
Nightmare to replace a tiré jajajajaja
