The moment he bullet timed… I was shook, I thought Gannon was about to rush me. He didn’t wish was lame, but then he fucking destroyed my health entirely……… shook, but then I gained them back.
Honestly, when I saw him do that, I was like “Uhhh… that’s cheating!”.

Important note. I don't think Zelda changing back was actually random light magic. What they were doing was reversing time. Link's arm was the same way, reversing time to set it back to the way it was before. We see Zelda has the secret stone after the transformation as well. Link, Rauru, and Sonia were just sending the dragon back thousands of years until it reverted to its original form.

If you rewound her to before she consumed the secret stone, and then afterwards, she doesn’t consume the secret stone, then she’ll never become a dragon.

It only rewinds the object. It's like advanced stasis I guess. They just specifically rewinded zelda but her actions didn't just get reversed. It's not time travel. Best comparison I have is from endgame. Remember when Hulk turned scott into a baby? Well they were pushing Time through him so he turned into his old self. A baby. The same happened in reverse when sped up he became an old man. So that's kind of what happened I'd imagine. Time was being excercised on Zelda so that she'd revert back to her orginal form.
I laughed SO HARD when Ganondorf was like “haHA this isn’t even my final form” and his health bar just kept going as he powered up 💀

What made it worse was that i had *two* hearts left that haven't been taken by the gloom.
I somehow didn't die, but used up three fairies
@@1ial20 I panic cooked a bunch of sundelion foods right before fighting him to reverse the gloom, but that second form brought me down from 17 to 4 hearts because it took me forever to figure out how to properly dodge the attack/projectile that removes a heart for good 😖

@@1ial20 Yes, I loved the fight. It wasn’t *hard*, but it was engaging & dramatic & gave me the feeling that I sorely missed in BOTW’s Calamity Ganon fight. The music was also amazing. Something about it makes me want to replay Twilight Princess. lol
I'm a 40 year old man, with a 40 year old man life. I just wanna say this game blew me away even more than BOTW did, and thats saying a lot. This game made me cry real tears of sadness when Zelda swallowed the stone, and real tears of happiness as I plummeted through the sky to catch her. I honestly can't fathom how they managed to do this to a grown man, but I'm really glad they did. Most games come and go, but this game, this story in particular, this is going to stick with me for a long time. What. A. Game! 11/10

It was more complex than your typical zelda but I do gotta say, the last 2 fights were somewhat underwhelming specially Ganon
There is a reason Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda just wish Robin Williams could have experienced BoTW and ToTK he would have loved them.
For real man! It was such a great story! Very very frustrating at times especially that last stretch with ganon. My god that shit was hard af for me. Took me days to keep trying for hours. Quick question though. Is there anything to do post game? When I hit continue my previous auto saves show up and my last hard save. Am I suppose to load back into the game or we can no longer go back into the game? 😔
My only gripe with the story is we never saw the child of Rauru and Sonia. We know they have one as Sonia feels a blood connection with Zelda meaning those two had a kid who would eventually lead to the birth of Zelda. I wanted to see the baby

finish all shrines in the game and u will be rewarded with an armor set that transforms link into a red-haired creature that looks like a mix between a zonai and hylian ! if you talk to impa while wearing it, she states that he looks VERY similar to the hero that fought the first calamity 10 000 years before the events of breath of the wild. my theory is that this is the child of sonia and rauru!!

Talking from a gameplay standard can we talk about how much Link caring for Zelda came in. You couldn’t see your hearts, you could see your stamina, you couldn’t see your map. All that was on screen in terms of HUD was R to dive to Zelda. It doesn’t matter how Link is doing, it doesn’t matter if he’s in danger. All that matters is Zelda is falling. He’s not going to let her be alone again, he’s not going to let her fall again, he’s not going to let her die like he did with the champions.
I mean, he didn't really *let* the champions die, he kinda had to leave them seeing as his duty was "protect Zelda" not "protect the champions". They were chosen because they were the best of the best, it's not links fault they fell. He only did what he had to.

I like how King Rauru and Queen Sonia are much similar to Link and Zelda... just like how the pair is a metaphor of the Silent Princess flower.
Especially how her ancestors acted like the kind of parents she needed since her father King Rhoam has given her so much cold & harsh challenges towards his own daughter.
They would have like to meet Zelda’s appointed knight and lover if not Ganondorf’s ruthless conquest in the Imprisoning War.

When you get the final tear, the newly fallen tear is surrounded by silent princesses.
Silent princesses aren't just a metaphor for Zelda. They ARE Zelda. Or at least, flowers born from her tears.
Sonia is like the mother Zelda never had.
@@mbcodes18 I think it's more likely they have some connection to the goddess Hylia. The flowers that reverse gloom have a similar connection to Sonia.
I'm glad they were able to meet him, if only briefly.
It’s really sad when you realize over the course of two games, Zelda has essentially lost 5 parental figures by now (her mother, king rhoam, urbosa, Sonia, and rauru).
The only gripe I have with the story is that I thought Purah should've been the Sage of Spirit. She even has a similar owl-goggle thing to Mineru, AND she appears in the final cutscene when the Sages pledge their allegiance to Zelda! Not to mention the ties between the Shiekah and Zonai cultures hinted at through BOTW and TOTK. It would just make so much sense to the point I feel like that was the original intention before something got changed
Also the fact that Purah likes creating ancient stuff and is a researcher, and then Minerus sage is literally a mech. Maybe Purah would have been able to control it, but it took away from the actual ability to use the mech?
Maybe let them cook, they could be working on another sequel. It’s also important to note that it seemed purah stayed back when the group had a big group moment in the secret ending.
Maybe she's the NEW Sage of Spirit.

I was expecting Mineru to pass her secret stone onto Purah before passing on. It makes narrative sense as the two are similar in many ways and share an obvious connection based on the masks they both wear. I thought that was the whole reason Purah was even there in that final scene. Missed opportunity in my opinion.
The Purah Pad is basically the 6th stone now (has a copy of all the stone's data) but swallowing it is a bit harder now..
I'm pretty sure the stone is on the mech. It still exists.

What surprised me about this game is how little the Triforce is referenced explicitly, but rather expressed as character traits within the triad of protagonist (Link always having the courage to overcome any challenge regardless of the circumstances), deuteragonist (Zelda's growth in wisdom as she is literally flung into the past and has to grow on her own without Link), and antagonist (Ganon's pursuit of power, his rise to power, and when power consumes his very being). It was a big departure from what we saw with Zelda's bow of light in the previous game, but I do appreciate the fact that Tears of the Kingdom tries to explore well beyond their traditional plot devices. The way they paid homage to works like Laputa and Nausicaa was the highest form of compliments I've seen between fellow creators.
What important thing about these games is that they also switch up the traditional defining characteristics.
Ganondorf in this game's motivation is to bring back courage in the world. The peaceful rule of the Zonai pisses him off because it leaves no room for power. He is basically a darwinist who wants a harsh world that kills the weak and leave only the strong left to challenge him.
The other 2 have to go on journeys within the other elements of the triforce aswell
I think the finger taunting is actually a call back to his Twilight Princess counterpart, who also does a finger taunt. (At least I think he does, it's been a looong time)

When dragon Ganondorf exploded my jaw dropped, it was so badass. I’m just sad now that i’m done and don’t really have anything left to do, unless I want to grind out the last bit of side quests. At least I enjoyed my time!

Hello, after you defeated the long af battle with ganondorf, does that mean hyrule castle will go back to normal and you get to enter the castle without chasm and gloom and stuff?
@@Princesz717 It reverts to your last, most recent save (or autosave), just before the plunge on the final battle platform, at most. The last save is modified to reflect your "new Game +" Mode, but it's as if the last final battle never begun.
One small detail that I noticed is that during the scene where Zelda is being transformed back into a human, there is the ticking of a clock that's mixed into her theme. It sounds extremely similar to the ticking that you hear when using the recall ability. That makes me think that a big part of what's happening in that scene is recall being used. Which would also explain the restoration of Link's arm. Probably obvious to some but I thought the inclusion into the actual soundtrack of the game was awesome attention to detail.

You forgot how it started with Link not being able to catch Zelda in the beginning, and then in the end her being caught by him finally as they’re falling!
Actually, Link's arm wasn't just damaged by Gloom; it was straight up replaced with Rauru's arm after it was beyond saving. The coloration isn't scarring or anything, it's a perfectly healthy normal Zonai arm, so it's actually really weird that it returns to his old Hylian arm.
I believe that scene involves just using Link's/Zelda's Recall ability, but souped up. His arm isn't exactly being healed, it's being turned back to a time before it was ever damaged. Same way they're restoring Zelda to her previous self, although then it's not clear how she still has some recollection of being a dragon.

With just how incredibly influential the Triforce is in the Lore, its absence still makes me believe that this series could have a 3rd game in it.
I could do another game in this series! Just not with this overworld, and I'd be happy for a more staple set of weapons we need to earn via the story.. The pausing (even via way of the D-pad) to inventory manage mid-combat needs to go, personally.
It does seem strange that such an important and powerful item to the Zelda franchise is just absent. We do know it still exists since the Triforce symbol is everywhere like on the Master Sword and Zelda's hand when she uses her sealing power.
Headcanon, but thought I should mention it - Calamity Ganon's boar form from the end of BotW might've been shooting beams down into the ground and into the air because he was trying to hit the Light dragon, but didn't know where she was.
Considering how ganon was sealed before zelda swallowed the stone, i dont think he knew about the light dragon

Becoming a dragon doesn't nullify what "makes you you" because that would encompass more than just consciousness. It's more like it fuses the ego complex back into the unconscious from whence it came: a dragon eating it's own tail. You're still you. In fact, in some ways you are more yourself than ever. But you do not _know_ yourself.
A dragon, in TOTK, is a _spirit_ which makes them fundamentally different from humans, animals, or monsters.
Admittedly our imperfections and quirks and emotional impulses are what drives the human experience so Mineru's still right :P
Without those, a lot of the ingredients for 'you' aren't in the pantry anymore.
Agree 100% with dragons being spirits.. but they're ultimately more 'autopilot' forces of nature/spirituality (light/dark) then too. I mean, the Light Dragon's reaction to Link grabbing the Master Sword didn't seem entirely friendly at first so seems 'Zelda' wasn't in the pilot's seat.

Literally one of the funnest boss fights I had with him haha. He needs a buff weirdly enough. He can accidentally get stuck in the wall and you can speed run him accidentally in that stage.

@JupiterCoyote I feel like I could constantly be battling the gloom in that fight 100% of the time on top of him, taking like 7 hearts away from me with attacks that hit. I really think this fight should be hard and somewhat time crunched.
@@CliffordChaosGames the thing is his attacks are difficult to avoid (and this is coming from someone who beat a silver lynel 10 hours in) but aren’t punishing enough. I wish he dealt more damage and had some more attacks. Maybe better defense too because when I did hit him I dealt tons of damage
@JupiterCoyote maybe I've been playing zelda longer more consistently idk. But his attacks are in no way hard to avoid. If anything he's easier than some other stuff. Just really cool and fun to fight.
Especially if you know how to flurry rush and parry block. He won't touch you.
I personally think the stage prior could be way harder personally even if they keep the boss the same. I want a master sword trial war like thing. Not 3 waves of ez mobs

I just finished the game like 10 minutes ago, and dude this was the best ending to any zelda game ever, really makes you wonder what will be next in the series, as much as I would love a sequel to the sequel of BOTW, I wonder if the next game will take place many years after TOTK ending, during the "true ending" I legit thought link was going to talk for the first time, luckily it didn't happen, and dude Ganondorf was so good this game, I went into the ending thinking Zelda was going to die because someone said she sacrificed herself as a dragon to save link from being killed by Ganondorf, so after seeing that ending, it was amazing for me, and the soundtrack throughout the entire ending was fucking amazing, this is easily game of the year there's no way it's not
Another another BOTW game would be cool but they’ll probably move on to something else like they usually do. That being said, they really pushed the limits with this game, so it’ll be interested to see what they do next

Since koga was blasting into the sky, it would be funny if the next gam, if we get one, was in space.
Personally i'm expecting some kind of sea voyage game if they do expand the series into a full trilogy. Like Link and Zelda go out to sea to find any hylians that escaped the calamity by boat. Have a whole boat customization system, pirate ship battles, and island conquest/freeing. They could make nod to windwaker by saying that BOTW link had sister like Windwkaer and he want to go explore and see if he can find anything about her. Heck a whole sea faring game would be a nod to windwaker.
You know Zelda loves link. She says at the end she was awoken when she felt a warm loving embrace

@@Jackal_007 My theory is that Zelda's belief that the royal family being cursed by the reincarnation of the Hero, Goddess, and Demise meant that having children would pass the misfortune down unless Demise was dealt with once and for all. And now, it seems that Demise/Ganon/Ganondorf is truly gone for good. So maybe it could happen now. I mean... she's still the ruler of Hyrule, and definitely can't let the royal bloodline end. And no-one is as suited as Link to be with her.

Can't believe Ganondorf pulled an Ender Dragon when he died and struck the Hyrule Forest with an orbital laser.
Tears of the Kingdom was such an experience you can't ever have ever again once you've played it for the first time ever. You'd need to have severe memory loss to be able to experience it all over again for the first time to really enjoy it the same way as you did the first time.
I was rather disappointed by the fact that Rauru despite being in spirit form of the arm he grafted his arm on to Link, wasn't a constant companion you could talk to on your adventure, I feel like they could of had Rauru with you on your entire journey through this game, giving you thoughts and insights of the world around you, and giving bits of advice and such every now and then. It was missing that one main companion who can assist you or tell you things you might not know. Having the 5 sages avatars was nice and all and they each have their use cases abilities, some overshadow others in usefulness. Tulin being most useful in both arial and combat situations, Riju and Sidon's abilities didn't seem too impressive, Riju expects you to shoot targets with a bow in order to use it, but you have to walk up to the avatar to activate their abilities. Yunobo having the ability to smash things most useful against some enemies and boulders. As for Mineru? What use did she really have beyond being a mobile Construct that can be piloted? As a Sage of Spirit, it felt like her abilities are the most useless, and she didn't have much purpose at all, and they didn't have a solid idea planned out for Mineru.
I also thought about why they didn't have more Zonai that you could interact with in the world. Like a whole other race of Zonai who appear that you could interact with, and teaches everyone their ways, culture and history, because they put a lot of hype around the Zonai and had strong hints towards Zonai in Breath of the Wild with various structures and places that mentions them.

Going off of what you said at the end of the video I feel like this is one of if not the very first version of ganadorf post curse placed by demise because this particular version of ganondorf has been sealed for hundreds of thousands of years so it would make sense that he looks most similar to demise great video!!

The past segments of the game take place post-Ocarina of Time, so either this is a new Ganondorf after OOT or, like TP and WW, is the same Ganondorf from OOT
The curse was introduced in _Skyward Sword,_ which is, chronologically, the first Zelda game. So _all_ versions of Ganondorf are post-curse. The reaosn only the TOTK Ganondorf looks like Demise is because this is the first time Ganondorf has appeared since _Skyward Sword_ in terms of when _the games themselves_ were made.
In short, Demise's curse is an explanation applied to the series _retroactively_ in order to explain why evil pig men and Gerudo kings keep appearing to terrorize Hyrule.
I love you for this. I was so scared for the ending and was worried to play the game but now i can go on knowing Zelda and Link are reunited. Bless your heart

I would like to say, thanks to seeing the cutscene in the temple of time again, I'd like to point out that it's the same dimension kind of as the sages and where they pledge their loyalty to assist link. Which is why I think that in that moment, Zelda had done the same thing, which is why link was able to use Zelda's newly learned time reversal powers that she got from Sonia.
Another note, the reason why Zelda was turned back in the final cutscene was explained somewhere I don't remember where. It was explained that through Rauru's spirit powers, and Sonia's Time powers, they were able to bring the spirit back to Zelda, and reverse time for her to before she became the dragon through the use of link's arm.
Edit: after watching the whole video, I didn't realize he went over the reason why Zelda was turned back.
I also thought that that was the great plateau that Ganondwarf was attacking in the memory, but then I analyzed the image and realized that it was just an under developed Hyrule castle based on where the shine is located.

@@breadg1818 Man... I've dreamed of how epic a postgame in the sequel could be. Rebuilding Hyrule, which is already partially rebuilt, for a time & rupee sink post game. Dating simulator with Zelda. Minigames and relationships you can form with NPCs. Buying multiple houses, making a difference, etc. Nintendo never had such a vision for the game and never will
Finally here after finishing the game yesterday. This video is so great. One thing I do have to mention is that the breach of demise doesn’t appear to be where the 4th memory takes place. The molduga are charging the great plateau from a more sandy gerudo area, while the breach of demise is in hyrule ridge, which is really far from the great plateau. It seems like Ganondorf and the gerudo are standing on the east gerudo mesa, and the molduga charge from the sandy planes to the east of them. But it still is very evident that Ganondorf’s demon king form is heavily based off demise. Also sorry if this comes off as very “um actually” ish I just really like figuring out where the memories take place-
just so people know if you put a teleport ring down in the depths you can just teleport back when ever you want rather then trekking back
First thing I did before taking the dive
I have one in the mural room so when I want to go back in I can do the full walk up with the music getting increasingly more crazy as you go. Makes the whole experience that much cooler.
That's what I've done! And it's especially useful when all of Ganondorf's phases deal way less damage to you than the monsters you encounter on the way there!
The comment about how ganondorf was no match for link, the master sword, and gibdo bone infused arrows was so true though, they literally helped me through the fight.
I honestly see Tears of the Kingdom being the entire chronology of Legend of Zelda looping back in on itself, what with many nods and direct references to several of the older games, even flat out reimagining the false fealty scene from Ocarina of Time. The Ganondorf we face is called the Demon King, the exact same title given to Demise. Meaning that this could essentially be the most pure reincarnation of him since the beginning of his curse that his hatred and malice will follow Link and Zelda's reincarnations for all time. But that's just my own opinion due to BOTW/TOTK's rather tricky placement within the entire LoZ timeline. But now that we've gotten a proper conclusion to this point of time, it's gonna be hard to know where Nintendo will be going with LoZ aside from potential DLC for TOTK. Can only imagine how Master Mode will be like for this game.

This game doesn't make sense on the overall Zelda timeline, story is not bad it just doesn't make sense, they are soft rebooting the franchise bc they want wich on itself is not bad they already did the same from link to the past to oot now they want to keep it to one timeline where totk it's at the end Wich in my opinion is non sensical, and Zelda should be divided on different realities/canons, the Devs wanting to create standalome stories and closed narratives with no connections to other games is ok and can be good, what is not ok is tryna fit this into the older cannon
@@scipio2234 keep in mind totk is tens of thousands of years in the future. histories are lost in as few as a 3-4 thousand years, this makes sense following the logic of a new hyrule being completely refounded by descendants of those who remained in the sky after Skyward Sword returning to earth as the Zonai after hyrule was lost to time in a timeline where Gdorf has perished.
alternatively this could be the OoT timeline but a 4th branch: young link fails to open the sacred realm. with no access to the Triforce Gdorf finds a different power to wield. this is a crude fit but could make some sense.
@@ShadowAraun we still have records in the real world of thousand of years in the past even millions through excavations sites, now Zelda states she is sent to the founding of Hyrule is never mentioned in game the existance of a previous Hyrule even on legend, also the technological recess of this new Hyrule would be unheard of in the series besides on the fallen timeline (Wich is just the result of another franchise reboot from alttp to oot), another key point is the abandonment of the triforce as a plot device in exchange for new plot devices the writers can use more freely without having to be binded to pre existing lore, in Lore the best explanation I've seen (at least the one i like the most even tho i still think is kinda copium) is that the events of totk happens both at the end of the timeline (after botw) and before the timeline (before skyward sword), before the skyloftians were lifted up onto the sky and that ganondorf was a person before the events with demise, that's why here it doesn't use the triforce of power, and that later he was just the channeling of demise power due to his soul already being evil, so the zonai would have existed on the sky before the skyloftians and the events of the past of totk got washed by the goddes lifting the land onto the sky, there is also a theory that tries to explain this on the child timeline with hyrules flooding and new Hyrule but i think is even more copium. Out of lore i think is pretty clear since botw they wanted to reboot the franchise, Zelda lore has always been fans tryna connect games and Nintendo coming in to cash in later, I'm not opposed to a franchise reboot personally, as this has happened before, is just I think Nintendo should abandon the timeline formula for a continuity formula
I don't think that the De-Draconfication of the Light Dragon back to Zelda is anything more complex than how Sonia and Rauru's powers of Time and Light were demonstrated throughout the memories.
One, Sonia and Zelda supported Rauru with his Beam of Light that took down the Moldugas with their own powers. This shows that Sonia, and likely Rauru as well, can amplify each other's power with their own.
Two, in the memory where Zelda reaches out to Sonia, Sonia explains that her power works by simply thinking of where/what the target was and willing it to return to that original state.
Putting these together, with the additional fact that Rauru's arm has both Light and Time magic while Link has it, shows that the Light Dragon wasn't healed but rather Time Magic amplfied by Light reversed Zelda's state back to a mortal Hylian

It’s an exception because this method cannot be repeated. So what Mineru said about draconification is still accurate. It should be permanent. And it was. No common method existed prior. Impa never found it in the ancient text and the act was forbidden for a reason.

My personal theory about zeldas transformation is that the Rauru's arm because still had some of his juices in it which allowed link to use the abilities alongside time manipulation and the combined force of Sonia and Rauru made the ability and simply reverted Zeldas body back to before she ate the stone.

I think what was happening when Zelda was turning back was that they were using the tri-force. Sonia being wisdom, Link being courage( Obviously) and rauru being power.

The developers have said that they really just don’t care about timeline and will make what they want to make, which even though I love the timeline is pretty based.
Who knows, maybe they’ll find a way to make it work somehow, either way, such an amazing game

Its "Ultra recall" and it can span centuries and restore Zelda and Links body to its previous state.
Also links arm was healed as a result of doing the shrines and getting the cleansing effect in the animation ending of each shrine
Ganondorf sent his attack onto the Great Plateau, Zelda is discovered by Rauru and Sonia in front of where the Shrine of Resurrection would later be. She looks on to see no Hyrule Castle. The castle used by Rauru is repurposed into the Temple of Time we see in BotW.
Sonia mentions to Zelda how recall is about trying to remember what an objects state was before it got to the point it is. I think that's why the time powers made it possible for the dragon transformation to reverse with light powers being able to heal whatever was broken.
When you defeat demise, he curses an infinite loop on Hyrule and for all we know the calamity happens every 10,000 years. So it will never stop. There’s no reversing it. there might be one more game about the breath of the wild it may be moving on to the spiritual realm or something.

I like to theorize that Sonia and Rauru combined time and light in order to revert Zelda, using the power of time to physically reverse her body and soul, the power of light is used to counter the light dragon's power, enabling a safe extraction of Zelda without killing her ala demon dragon, I think the reversing of time also fixed Link's arm, but resulted in Rauru's arm going back to him.
Zelda basically has her overpowered light seperated in order to prevent her from being killed by her own power, as well as seperating the secret stone using the power of light, its not a solid theory, but speculating that they force the secret stone to seperate from the inside of her body and revert her body as the stone is no longer present to prevent the reversion, I do think they specifically needed light and time, they would also force Zelda's powers to activate and revert herself as well, I don't think its *just* those two, I think Light dragon also had her hand in there, pointing it to her head as if they needed to redirect her power
Its rather unclear what happened, but I also think the triforce of wisdom has preserved her human form, think back to Twilight Princess, Zelda didn't change form, but that's from an external force, totk shows an internal force changing her, but I don't think it was permanant, its similar to what TP Link experienced with the shard and master sword, theoretically. If Zelda came across something that allows her to extract her own secret stone, I think the triforce of wisdom would definitly have a hand in reverting her form, like the reverse of how the triforce of courage acted in TP

When link was diving to catch the hand of zelda the SECOND time and the original legend of Zelda theme was playing it hit me in the soul
I had this little theroy (if you can call it that xD The other 3 dragons where Zonai. Because of the looks. When zelda was a dragon her hair was fully golden and she had a longer snout and fewer scales. The other 3 dragons have the same hair as rauru and the other zonai. So who where these dragons? Where they also humans at some point and swallod a secret stone?
There are also clothing based on them in the game and have similar details with rauru clothes
I hope the DLC will tell us about them before they became a dragon.

I thought when Ganondorf tried to attack he did it from Spectacle Rock not the breach of Demise, the monsters were coming from the Gerudo Canyon and attacking the Great Plateau. That’s the “birthplace of the kingdom”

Do Link and Zelda have feelings for each other? I feel like this secret ending has left everything from BOTW meaningless if put in friend zone. Especially there are hints like the pair lived together in Link’s old home or Queen Sonia & King Rauru is interested in meeting her appointed knight/Hero of Hyrule since Zelda blushes in her fondness of him. Basically I wanted to see their relationship grow. It’s clear Zelda loves Link and it’s what awakened her sacred power within her 100 years prior to Breath of the Wild as well as Kass’s last song.

It's pretty much a given that in most of the zelda games, until said otherwise, they have feelings for each other. In BotW/ToTK it is Zelda who has more feelings for Link (being awkward, honest, open around him when Mipha was not around). It's basically a story of a white knight and a princess.

The Breach of Demise doesn't function as an entryway to the underground in spite of it's name, so in the end it seems to be nothing more than an imposing geological feature that got associated with the legend of the demon king.
Okay, someone might have mentioned this, and if so, apologies. But... every "playthrough", and/or "explanation" vid I've seen (so far) of totk has missed what I'm about to say. The scene immediately following Zeldas de-draconification where her and Link are plummeting back down to Hyrule is actually a direct call back to the scene at the start of the game where Link fails to catch princess Zelda. It's him getting a second chance to catch her, and this time... he does. I know it's a very small thing, and easy to not catch (pun intended lol), but to me, it was a very important moment... one that gave Link a chance to correct a mistake. Like i said, it's a small thing... but worth mentioning imo.
im still under the impression and this is a theory now, all the other zelda games are just legends in BOTW and TOTK, zelda travelled back in time the imprisoning war happened and thats how a bunch of stories branched out and came to be. sage of time zelda got changed to the hero of time yadayadayada. demon king ganon, zelda and her legend, and the hero named link that will eventually destroy the demon king.
I don't think the Gerudo's attack was from the Breach of Demise. It looked more like it was coming from the south of the Great Plateau, so Ganondorf was probably standing on the Stairy Plateau on the border of the Gerudo region.
Some people complain that Zelda should have stayed a dragon to give her sacrifice weight and consequence. I couldn't disagree more. Changing her back honestly ties the bow on her arc. Rauru and Sonia promised in the past to return her to Link; helping Link restore her is their way of fulfilling that promise and their final act of love to her as the parents she deserved all along. Saying Zelda should have stayed a dragon is like saying the Beast should have died at the end of Beauty and the Beast. It would just be tragedy porn for the sake of it; it would have rung emotionally hollow. The ending we get gives her an emotional release. It also completes Link's arc because he catches her in the end in a scene mirroring the beginning; he redeems himself in his mind after so much guilt over losing Zelda and learning about her sacrifice. And Zelda is happy to see him because home is wherever Link is. In the end, we see Zelda, happier and more confident than we've ever seen her. Although she and Link have made great progress in rebuilding Hyrule, she knows there's more work to be done, and she's even more devoted to safeguarding the kingdom and people she loves so much.
Great video and breakdown man, but watch out for the cuts/edit/overlays/motion graphics. Just needs a biiit of refinement and they'll be there; as it is so many of them fail and aren't watchable. Hence the volume of replay moments you have are all around difficult to see parts of your video

Link has time powers with "Recall" because Zelda gave him her sage blessing, just as all the other sages did. It even becomes a symbol on his hand like theirs do.
Mineru makes it clear in her explanation, especially in Japanese, that Sonia and Rauru used a combination of time and light element to reverse Zelda's draconification and heal both her and Link. This is why his arm returns when we know that it was previously completely amputated.
I keep having to come back to this comment to correct things you said as I go. Rauru probably has no connection to Hylia. Every connection or suggestion about Hylia we've ever had has pointed to her being associated with time. Sonia is probably a part of the Zelda bloodline, and thus the Hylia bloodline. Her looks suggest as much, and she has time as her power. As for Goddess Hylia being related to time, her artefacts all relate to time in some way. The master sword, the ocarina of time (Hyrule Historia), and the gate of time. When Link makes it to a sacred flame in Skyward Sword Fi says that Hylia is speaking to them from her "place at the edge of time." A beta build of Ocarina of Time for Spaceworld was leaked a few years back and in it the Temple of Time was called the "Cathedral of Hylia" and the architectural motiffs had a winged goddess figure on them.
Finally, the Temple of Time on the great plateau has a large Hylia statue surrounded by smaller ones. Speaking of temples. Hylia's Temple in Skyward Sword becomes the Sealed temple which later is the predecessor to the Temple of Time seen in Ocarina of Time. Seeing as she also does have the title of "Goddess of Light" it's more likely that she carries both concepts within her domain of power. Or the title "goddess of Light" might be more like "Goddess of good", as the kanji seems to suggest.
Yeah I checked the Japanese used when Jerrin calls Hylia a "goddess of light" and it means more like a "Godess of good things". She also isn't calling the horned god a literal god of darkness, but of bad things. Also of note is the fact that Hylia's statue is in the Temple of Time on the Garden of Time sky island too. If she were goddess of light, wouldn't it be the "Temple of Light" on the "Garden of Light" sky island??
The de-dragonification and Link's arm being restored was that they were reversing time. Around Zelda and Link's arm. Essentially taking those areas back to a point in the past. The Light power helped to both contain and enhance the time reversal to the targeted areas. Zelda went back in time to probably just before she swallowed her stone and Link's arm was reversed to before the Gloom rendered it useless.
A little prior to the ending, breaking all the rocks when going down the Gloom tunnels with Chu Chus jumping out reminded me of breaking all those square blocks to proceed (with Chu Chus jumping at you) in Zelda 2 on the NES! I genuinely think someone on the team had the idea of "remember this? Yeah you do.. now it's in 3D!"
The recall ability is basically the ability from zelda given to link just like the abilities of the other sages
Ganon doesnt attack from breach of demise onto hyrule castle, rather he attacks from the gerudo cliffs onto the great plateau (the valley directly south of mount hylia is where the molduga horde swims up)
That's what I was thinking. He looked like demise in that one memory. I'm like dang this is really showing how much of demise seems to be influenced within Ganondorf.
Now knowing that dragons are inmortal beings brings up the question, Are the 3 dragons across Hyrule the original 3 gods representing the triforce?
Seeing as how easy it was to corrupt Naydra in BotW, I don’t think so. They are referred to as spirit dragons, not dragons born of men. Also I think two of them are male dragons. Not the first time dragons in the series are named after the Goddesses.

Remember how Sonia and the time reverse power works, you ask the object for its history, and then you shape it into that again. But the effects the object had in the world has already happened. You just modify one object (just like in gameplay). The combined power of Link, Rauru and Sonia could ask for the history of Zelda and return it.

Mineru's stone was embedded into the construct her spirit is in. The stone depicted on her spirit was just a depiction, i think the zonai stone is still in the construct. Purah is definitely going to be investigating those construct parts.
11:20 Actually, I think Minaru's secret stone still exists on her construct body. It's just an ethereal version of it on her chest that disappears with her.

There is no way to undo draconificstion, that zelda was lost and technically erased when she was turned back to before she ate the stone

what gets me is that 10,000 years ago, she became a Light Dragon, right? which means she wasn't around when BOTW Took Place, which also means she couldn't of sustained Ganon In Hyrule Castle, (she was Literally Flying around in the sky at this Point) So who was Speaking to Link when he awoke in the Shrine of Resurrection? and who was Guarding Ganon in Hyrule Castle? Now, it would have been Damn right Impossible for Zelda to be inside Ganon to Seal him at the end of BOTW, if she was high in the Air as the Light Dragon, right? and ONLY became human again after Link, Rauru and Sonia put their Powers together and simply Changed her.. (10,000 Years before) But back then, Link Didn't even exist, cause Zelda even Verifies this by saying ''A Nobel Swordsman, Named Link will Appose him'' so, My Question here is: because she travelled backwards 10,000 Years, how does she know that Link would be Born and Kill Ganon? she could have changed History for the Worst and did something that stops Link from ever being Born into the Royal Family?
Now, I know that when she travelled Back 10,000 Years (thanks to Sonia's Secret Stone) she Travelled to an era where She Didn't even Exist. So just by being there, she changed the course of History. She warned everyone about the Swordsman, Link (whom didn't exist at the time) So, when she Turned into the Light Dragon for Link to save Hyrule (10,000 Years later) she had to have Skipped BOTW when doing so.. Right? ..there are dragons in BOTW, just not the Light Dragon, which would make sense seeing that Zelda IS the Light Dragon. Now, between BOTW and TOTK is exactly 5-6 Years, Yet, Zelda Became a Light Dragon for 10,000 Years?? so tell me, how does that work?
Hopefully we will get more past stories for the DLC. Also the complete Hyrule restoration project side quest for the whole land.

Ganondorf definitely didn’t launch his attack form the breach of demise, he was behind the great plateau while the breach of demise is north west of the plateau, it also wouldn’t make much sense for him to launch his attack from there considering how far away it is from Geurdo desert and how deep into Hyrule the breach is

Here's my Theory about the reversal of the Draconification:
What if Rauru and Sonia used Link (which is a possessor of the Triforce but he just doesn't know he has it or the power itself is just so faint) as conduit to empower both of their power to miraculously reverse the draconification... Like they kinda wished to the triforce thru Link..
One of the questions I had was that, we see Zelda as a Dragon at the the beginning of the game and we know that Zelda turned into the dragon while holding the Master Sword to restore it. But Link hadn't sent the broken Master Sword back to the past to Zelda at that point. So does that mean the Master Sword also existed in two places at once? Maybe since Link was fated to send it back to the past anyway, it wouldn't cause any time rifts or whatever.

Like how Ganondorf already knew the names of Link and Zelda cause he learned them from Rauru, who learned them from Zelda herself, but Rauru tells Zelda that their defeat was from a time where Zelda hadn't shown up. Or how Zelda is technically now as old as Hyrule itself. That also means she existed as a dragon when her past self was born, went through the same events of the games and was eventually sent back to the past again. That's probably the reason they start the game already underground, so there's no way to see the dragon until Zelda is sent back in time. Doesn't that mean that even though we return Zelda to normal, the light dragon should technically still exist as a past Zelda. No need to answer any of this, I'm just spitballing ideas

I zoomed in on the zelda dragon on a fresh save and their was no sword in her head. I think it only appears when you send it back
What is it that needs to be done in order to get that last secret cutscene? I managed to get it my first playthrough but I'm not certain what causes it. I assume it's either getting all the sages or completing all the dragon's tears
I was just playing the game and got the master sword early and got all them memories and thought the cutscene in the great sky island was normal
something that does bother me with this game is that the triforce was not mentioned or acknowledged in this game. Yeah the symbols were there and all, but not with a singular word was the triforce mentioned but rather was more or less replaced by the secret stones of sorts. So I think there is a big dlc due for this game I think

I think I have figured out why after catching Zelda, pretty much every player gets emotional and some even shed a tear (basically normal human reaction), yet Link stays calm and collected, stoic and quiet as always.
Because while for us this was so grand and great with ups and downs, for Link this was just another normal day of protecting his princess. Business as usual. Or rather duty as usual.
Isn't mineru's secret stone attached to her construct so it wouldn't disappear with her?
