I had an RS60 Spyder for 6 years and took my late father for over 30 day trips into Wales, right up until the point when he couldn't get out of the car and go for a walk. Will treasure those memories forever.

I normally moan about porsche spec but seeing so many different varieties of Spyder, my favourite new porsche of all, it finally makes sense.

The Miami blue is my favourite, I could almost feel those snick gear changes. What a lovely romp,it would have been understandable if you had pulled out due to illness, but what better tonic for your lungs 😂 👍🏻

Hi Damian, factory Spyder alignment isn't great and can recommend JZM's fast road set up and also get the Car Graphic valve controller fitted at the same time for pennies.

Yes I would, but a valve controller is your first move

Defo add the car graphic valance
Controller on top of the JCR. Cheap as chips by comparison and really opens it up so you get the JCR benefit without having to always rev the nuts off it. JZM installed mine. 😃

The valves are closed most of the time Damian. Kline seems to get the best reviews. Yours will sound better when you get control of the valves. Just unplug them yourself if you want to hear full valves open. 2 minute job.

How did you need engine mounts already?!
You need a new exhaust system that can actually bring out downshift sound. I'm thinking of getting a 981 Boxster GTS and that thing sounds really good. I hope you'd review one.

Hello, long term viewer of the channel with some questions for you: Why are many car collections being sold off? Do the owners have better cars that they are keeping that the public isn’t seeing? Will this continue? Is it getting more expensive to own a collection? Is social media making it look like more collections are being sold off or is it a actually a trend? And, will this effect the Car Guys’ garage at all?

Hey I am researching Spyders with a view of buying one. Seen confusingly lower priced cars named the RS60 Spyder which aren’t a proper 987 Spyder with the wind shield roof and humps. Any idea the history behind these and are they counted as a Spyder?
Yes, they were a limited edition and quite desirable
