The original temple use to be at the site of Masjid adjacent to temple which you should have visited. The back wall of that Masjid is something to see.

Varanasi has a very different vibe. The city is full of chaos & highly disorganised. If you come from a posh area then you may not like it. Yet, the place has a lot to offer.

I would suggest you to visit " Haridwar" and "Rishikesh" in your next trip ,that is relatively more calm and serene.

Great vlog. I am from varanasi. Sorry that you couldn't enter kashi vishwanath temple-gyanvapi mosque complex because of lack of proper directions. You tried entering from the main gate on the street and hence were stopped. You could have entered the complex from the ghat. It was right next to the cremation ghat that you visited. You may have seen a new ghat and big gate facing the ganga, you could have entered from there into the courtyard of the temple where everyone is allowed.

Dear You should have gone to see the Gyan wapi Masjid.....if you were denied entry in Vishwanath Mandir....you would probably know how the distribution was done & this is the very reason of what you got there ...more over you would be shocked to see the structure of Masjid......which is completely Hindu temples base with red bricks & top mosque is completely different......when I was there seeing that was bit painful .

As an Indian it was very wholesome to see a pakistani visit Kashi! Just one thing I want to talk about what you said at 7:47 Yahan jo bhi marta hai 'baksha' nahi jaata, since this concept doesn't necessarily exist in hinduism that you either get punished after death or go to heaven. Rather, Whoever dies in the city is said to attain Moksha(escape the cycle of death and rebirth)

Great vlog. I am from varanasi. Sorry that you couldn't enter kashi vishwanath temple-gyanvapi mosque complex because of lack of proper directions. You tried entering from the main gate on the street and hence were stopped. You could have entered the complex from the ghat. It was right next to the cremation ghat that you visited. You may have seen a new ghat and big gate facing the ganga, you could have entered from there into the courtyard of the temple where everyone is allowed.

Dear You should have gone to see the Gyan wapi Masjid.....if you were denied entry in Vishwanath Mandir....you would probably know how the distribution was done & this is the very reason of what you got there ...more over you would be shocked to see the structure of Masjid......which is completely Hindu temples base with red bricks & top mosque is completely different......when I was there seeing that was bit painful .
