    Good on Kaitlin Olson for saving that poor doggie!! That’s wonderful that she and Rob gave him the medical care he needed and were ready to adopt him and give him a home, AND then were willing to give him back to his family! 10/10 people, we need more humans like them in the world 🐶🐾🐾💚💚

    Rob McElhenney is HIGHLY UNDERRATED! Dry humor, very intelligent, and obviously has a great heart. The entertainment industry isn't doing the public at large for keeping his talent under wraps!

    It is known as FOOTBALL in the whole world, except for the US! There is also a real Football World Cup in which teams from all around the world take part, and the final gets viewing figures of between 1.5 and 2 BILLION on TV! The story of the purchase of Wrexham has been big news during the last year, and it looks like they will get new sponsors too. The club is over 150 years old, and hopefully this will improve their future prospects. McElhenney and Reynolds have done a good job of appealing to the fans, and have been very un-Hollywood about it all.

    I mean, I know it's not your show, but in his latest Quarantinewhile segment Stephen Colbert incorrectly stated that the Great Wall of China is among the few man-made objects that can be seen from space. If you could also address that in your next Corrections, that would be splendid ;)

    • @mehere8038
      @mehere8038 Před 3 lety +7

      lol I think that's a whole separate "corrections" segment, "other people's corrections" or similar name :) Would actually be kinda fun now Trump's not going to feature in them, cause we'd automatically in our heads refer back to his lies & how trivial all the corrections are compared to him if he was to correct a range of sources, particularly I think local news could have some good material to play with :)

      @@mehere8038 I just wanted to volunteer my opinion to both you and the initial commenter: I am HERE for ALL THIS, it's absolutely brilliant (a bit random, but that only adds to the charm.)
      Perhaps there should be an Independent Coalition Of Network-Inclusive Late Night Shows Corrections Show? For, uh... transparency and accountability! (Just think of all the segments of sub-segments and special editions of sub-segments...!)

    So what's the story behind how the dog ended up on the freeway so far from home? Seems to me that would be the most interesting part of the whole story, but you didn't share it :(((( I really want to hear what happened!

    • @mehere8038
      @mehere8038 Před 3 lety +9

      And google won't tell me :( Will only tell me that he appeared well cared for but wasn't microchipped & feet were burnt from the freeway rather than from the long distance travelled (doesn't say how far though, could have been a long distance too) & family were desperately searching for him.
      Glad he made it home & please microchip your pets people! Very worthwhile insurance policy in case of a scenario like this! Owners would have been called as soon as he was taken to the vet to get his feet treated if he'd had a chip, just lucky he ended up in a famous person's tweet to get him found & home to his family

    • @Figs3
      @Figs3 Před 3 lety

      Probably ran away far enough and ended up on the freeway. At least that's what I'm hoping...better than someone abandoning it on the freeway.

    • @mehere8038
      @mehere8038 Před 3 lety

      @@Figs3 no, I'm sure it wouldn't have been abandoned, but did he jump a fence, was he scared by fireworks, did he chase a cat for fun so far that he got lost, did he hear the word "vet" & run away to hide? Clearly a very loved dog, but I'm curious how he ended up away from his family & on the freeway
