Target No Longer Selling DVDs?! | It Finally Happen..

- So, I went to my local Target today only to find that the DVD and Blu-ray section had been reduced to a since carousel and an end cap... Is this finally an end of an era?

Same thing at my local Dollar General, they got rid of their entire DVD and Blu-Ray section and only have an extremely small section at the register. I think other Dollar Generals around me still have the full sections but I'm unsure
Totally sucks, starting to see less and less physical media at these places
It is sad that companies are doing this.
I just hope amazon will forever sell DVDs and Blurays. If they stop carrying physical media then we're definitely in trouble.
Yeah, the day that happens we will be doomed.

For me isaw that all in boxes two weeks ago last weekend only have small sections included $5 section
Here in Holland finding dvds in the wild is almost impossible too aside from secondhand shops. I've been buying my movies from amazon for years now but i used to go shopping for movies alot back in the day especially with birthday money XD good times!
Ah, I miss the simpler times when DVDs were plentiful in stores.

Look I love DVDs as much as the next guy, but I think it's incredibly based that books and vinyl records have outlasted them on the shelves.

I have like looking at them sometimes buy i store Walmart, target, Best buy but also online too or store pickup and just Best buy mail to house deal

I think the only place that will consistently put out movies is Walmart. Once Walmart decides that they're gonna join the wave of phasing out physical media, it's gonna suck.

They already announced they're going to do that next year. In 2024 they'll stop carrying video games and DVDS Blu-Rays soon after.

@@Ne0nZombie Also dunno if this matters but my loca thrift stores also told me they're not going to accept DVDs or Blu Rays anymore because nobody buys them and they rot on shelves.
Stores that no longer sell dvds means that dvds are expiring
I heard about it target and best buy its sad but Wal-Mart is strong where im at with dvds and blu rays and 4k as well Wal-Mart sells a lot of dvds and blu rays but best buy and target sells small so it makes sense to target and best buy to do that its sad but physical media is going to be around because we got dollar general, dollar tree, family dollar, big lots, independent record stores, fye, thrift stores,goodwill, pawn shops, flea markets and barns and nobles if you want to get the newest dvds and blu rays are Wal-Mart, independent record stores and barns and nobles is the only place to get new movies i love this video but Im definitely sad about this same in my area with target and best buy as well take care im a huge subscriber of your channel
