    "Especially in South Italy, where job scares, kids spend hours just hanging out". I hope you were kidding.

    Sicilians have in common with Italians?

  • @belgravia85
    @belgravia85 Před 13 lety +1

    Two things:"sicilians,like italians..."is just meaningless.Sicilians are italians, as Sicily is one region of Italy. Secondly, kids spend hours hanging out not because of the lack of jobs,or at most partly.The main reason is that sicily enjoys a good weather for most of the year,so it's pretty easy to stay outside instead of being at home watching tv. Italian people,and sicilians are no exception, are very social!

    Too much ignorance in this video. Sicilians are the same as all other Italians... the distance is only 3 kilometers by the strait of Messina... that's about 2 miles... how much different can that be? This is just stupid. Some people think Sicily is very different from the rest of Italy, it is NOT! Each region has it's own history, culture, art, language and cuisine. It's no different in Sicily. I am not impressed with Rick's knowledge at all. I know i'm Sicilian!
