I'm not a certified electrician, You should consider wiring the appropriate amperage fuse inline between an accessory and the switch to prevent any possible damage from happening to your accessory. The switches I use are 20Amp switches so, me personally? I've always just sent it and not had any issues.

Very informative- Question, So you don't Ground to the metal frame, you ground to the negative terminal. Two grounds- on for the accessory, and one for the switch! Thanks.
Will I have to get a ring terminal to connect to my battery?
Damn I bought a rectangularish switch, would you recommend that I use a Dremel for cutting out the shape. Thanks for the video...I am a utube certified electrician now.
