  • When assembling the rosette, the center motif tiles must have the right tapers so that they will fit properly around the rosette.
    If you would like to learn these techniques in person you can join one of my guitar making courses. All the info is on: guitarmakingcourse.org
    Alternately if you want to build your own guitar in your own workshop at home you can do it with my course on video format that you can find on: onlineguitarmakingcourse.com

    It's always amazing to see the amount of planning, work and attention to detail it takes to make a fine rosette.

    I thought that your earlier upload on this process was already perfectly clear and straight forward to follow.

    Thank you for sharing this Pablo! Great as usual. The only thing is not clear already in my mind(I don’t know maybe for me it’s more complicated than it actually is 😅) , is about the main design of the tile… Doing that arch cut(sand)on both sides angles, does it will not affect the design itself ? I mean, do I need make an extra 0,5mm columns to like “compensate “
    That or it’s not necessary? If I still didn’t get it sorry, but theoretically is just easier than practicing and seeing it itself. I’m just trying to imagine how can I keep all the central design of the motive taking the boarders out. 😕

      It depends on the design of the rosette that you are making. As you say, sometimes it is necessary to ad another section to allow for the ammount lost making the angles.

      @@redkitekk right, I got it! Thanks again and for the answer. Last ask, do your students make their own rosettes during your course time?? Because it is a lot of time consuming work. How long does it take? I’d love to get an only rosette course but as I know there is none available online.

    • @redkitekk
      @redkitekk  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, they build their own rosettes during the course. If you want a course just on rosettes contact me on my website and we can discuss it.

    Aaah, you mean correct angles. Right angles are 90 degrees.
