- 🏍️ The Unparalleled Joy of Riding the BMW R 18: The Most Fun I've Ever Had on a Bike! 🏍️
Hey fellow bikers and adrenaline seekers! 🤘 Today, I can't contain my excitement as I share with you the incredible experience I had recently on the legendary BMW R 18 bike! 🚀 As a passionate motorcycle enthusiast, I've ridden quite a few impressive bikes in my time, but none have left me as awestruck and exhilarated as this beastly beauty! - Zábava
Just yesterday I was at a BMW dealership checking it out. It's crazy to see that it has the same price as a Harley Davidson Street Bob. Overall, it feels like a bigger bike, better finished, and of higher quality, and more unique and exclusive. Incredible.
My friend bought himself a BMW R18 as well after test riding my bike. I think its a great value for the money as BMW have really good deals with it. I was riding it today hard on Rock mode and it was a blast.
Rock mode on and the pardy begins! 😂❤
Hahaha yes!!!
“Oh my god! What is this thing!!!” Hahaha Great work, keep up
Thanks! 😁
Absolutely beautiful bike. Enjoy!
Thanks, will do!
I have the 2022 model and I love it. I also love the way this cruiser glides through twisty roads. I just wish a shorter/narrower handlebar is available.
There are a lot of handlebar option that I saw online. I installed the handlebar raiser which helped a lot with riding comfort.
Awesome bike!
It sure is!
Seriously quiet roads where you are, where’s all the traffic? These are big heavy bikes that take a little while to master but when you do you realise how awesome they really are. I’ve had mine about a year and a half now. It’s fabulous.
Thank you! I do enjoy it very much and planning a long term review of the bike. So yea this was in the back roads in Dulles, VA so not much traffic there. The bike needs nice roads for sure and its amazing on the highway.
I found one in Austria and ordered it. It will arrive by Christmas ❤
Hope you enjoy it! Its a wonderful bike!
Mein Traum 😊
Thanks!
This bike doesn’t give the option for forward control due to design but BMW has the option for attachments on top of the heads to rest your legs.
Yes! Those can be mounted on the side crash bars and you can rest your legs on them when riding on the highway. I’m thinking of getting them as do look nice as well.
If you haven’t already fitted bars, check out Wunderlich. They make leg rest plates that go on top of the cylinders.
How tall are you, just out of interest, Maher? Thinking of getting one, but the gear shift is a potential concern as have heard people saying that their foot doesn't fit under that big box block.
Hello sorry for the delay, I am 5'7. I installed handlebar raiser and that helped a lot with comfort. I dont have any issue with shifting and I have see people who are taller than me riding the R18 with issues from the boxer engine.
How tall are you if you don't mind ?
I am 5'7, so yes I was looking for a lower seat height as well. This bike is good for my height but i did few modifications as well.
@@MaherIbrahim I see. I'm 6'3 and would probably face a different set of issues. One of them would there be enough room for me legs given that the bike is not designed to have forward controls. I guess just have go to the local dealership and at least sit on one.
@@mariuss.6607 the best way to find out is to test ride it yourself! But I know of some people who are also tall and they’re really comfortable on the bike. You can definitely go for a taller seat as well as an aftermarket option.
Did you buy it?
Yes! I very much enjoy the bike.
@@MaherIbrahim great decision. it´s really a classy bike, will still look awesome and timeless, when all these modern bikes are looking outdated.
The exhaust sound could be better in the motorcycle. I have the same model bike and my triumph bobber sounds better.
Yes! I am looking for a new exhaust for my bike.
Best bike ever, driven by an amateur 😝
Haha and after having my riding license for only two weeks!
The boxer engine is the worse design engine ever made! The centrifugal force from the horizontal piston movement literally tries to stand the bike up in turns. It is dangerous.
BULLSHIT
Have you test ride it to come to that conclusion? Based on what? BMW has been making them for the 100 years!!!
The heavy BMW bikes ride on the German Autobahn with 180 km/h, ---since 40 years already. What's dangerous with the boxer engine?
The boxer engine is a masterpiece of german engineering marvel and it works wonderful. Give it a try ... 😊
I don’t think you understand centrifugal force.
