Honestly, I wish they would just keep the event focused around Mega Rayquaza as a Raid Day like they promoted it. It makes me kinda mad that I won’t be able to raid it remotely because Elite Raids are so much less accessible to those who don’t have. big community

I feel like niantic is doing everything in their power to kill their game. Literally everyone was so hyped for mega rayqyaza raid day, since kyogre and groudon got one. But now mega rayquaza is in elite raids??? This is such a shitty decision on their part since you cannot remote raid it and it only spawns on elite gyms. This is just to terrible since many players rely on the remote raid system for their legendaries, and now people without elite gyms in their area will not be able to access the pokemon.
Elite raids are terrible, telling a community when they should raid.
I got a hundo Rayquaza and a shiny im good anyway
Rayquaza is my favorite pokemon and didnt get one from its last mega raid debut. Im pissed about this

Shit 3 of my friends stop playing bc of all this bs, last 3 spotlight hours we all played together and only managed a shiny for merianie, 2 didn't even get one, nothing for elgyem or hitmon spotlight, now this? Yah, starting to get real sick of Niantic

This really hurts players like myself in rural areas or have disabilities that inferred in traveling to bigger better places to stay in for this.
We need to get some more help for them players and better ways to use our remote passes.
I don’t get it from a financial point. Niantic must bank on raid days. I’d think there’s more players doing remote raids than going to gyms. Why would they take that option away? People will spend money if it means great bonuses like shiny rates increased. I just don’t get it

You need a special stone to Mega Evolve Rayquaza. How are they going to do that?
Glad I got M. Rayquaza when it was available. Elite raid spawns are few atound these parts, so if its a no go its a no go.
Elite raid is not even shiny boosted. Save your raid passes. Easy pass.

Mother flipper. My community is so frigging bad. Frig dis game. It consists of me, level 41, my alt, level 27, my 2 friends, level 37 and 36. No shot we can trio them. I have good counters but my friends have complete garbage counters. *sigh this game is actually getting bad*

I won't even be able to get mega Rayquaza anymore because my plan was to just remote raids since I live in an area where there's not many people that play pokemon and I won't even have data to go walk around town anyway

It’s reversing I guess. I’m annoyed, but mega tyranatar is very ok, I joined a bit too late for him. (I returned early April, AND MISSED PRIMAL RAID DAYS AND KYOGRE IS MY FAVORITE POKÉMON AND I HAVE HIM SHINY 96% 4200 CP!!!)

I was expecting an awesome day of 3 hours of me getting good shinies and possibly being able to do 50 raids. Now I’m unsure if I’m even able to get enough energy from doing these raids. I’m so mad about it
Thankfully my town is active but I’m worried about getting the shiny if the rate isn’t 1/10 and it’s 1/20

@falleman I really don't see how the odds being 1/20 screw people, compared to the 1/10 odds. Now, if the odds were something like 1/500, I'd understand. But having a 5% chance as opposed to a 10% chance is really no different in terms of raids.
@@sapphirespeedster6466 1/10 is a lot more of a guarantee than 1/20. I know people who did 20 raids on the 1/10 raid Groudon ray and not get 1 shiny

The worst thing to me about elite raids is living in a small town so if I wanted to play the event I would have to drive 1-2 hours into the city bare in mind I won't know where these raids will be spawning too.
What is an elite raid? And why does it say 12, 1, 5, and 6 pm? Does it spawn everywhere at 12, 1, 5 and 6 or is it like any regular raid where it can spawn anywhere?

I just missed mega rayquaza raid day last year (ended 27th august) I started playing on the 28th of August and now it's coming back with ELITE RAIDS.....

they have to take elite raids out of the game i feel like no one actually likes them. I've never done a single elite raid ever, it's not changing

Mega Rayquaza is my favorite pokemon and when I first heard that they were gonna be available for raids, I WAS SO EXCITED! Then I heard that you can’t use remote passes. I live in a small area with not many pokemon go players or gyms. 🖕Niantic

I’m ok with the Zapdos since I need electric types (kyogre is my favorite). Can’t go wrong with landorus incarnate or therian. Idk which is good but whatever. Yveltal is also cool. I’m also happy with Ho Oh
