Comming back to this years after and the amount of nostalgia i feel Omfg. This video revolutionized my art style at the time, still think these designs hold up to this day. Thank you for impacting my childhood

They're using royalty free music, meaning no copyright strikes. It's free to use music, just can't claim it as your own, you have to credit, which this person did!

@@Kai_lovscheese This is old, but there's currently a plague of false claims on CZcams. People are claiming royalty free music as their own(despite it not being their own) and CZcams.. just doesnt care. They accept the claims and basically say "tough shit". It's honestly awful
I still remember watching MLP when I was younger so this gives me alot of nostalgia. I feel bad I don't watch it anymore but this art is just beautiful and amazing! I do wonder how long each character took to finish individually, but still, this is amazing! Keep up the great work Scarlet!

This is probably the most beautiful art of mlp I've seen. The shading is top notch the colors are wonderful! If they ever made a new mlp show this is what the character designs should look like XD this is truly amazing! 🌸

Heres the reason I like you as an artist: your style is very simplistic. It's pleasing to look at, and you don't do crazy complicated shading like some speedpainters do. Very good. 10/10

So I watched this a few weeks ago, before I started figuring out some tricks with a digital art app I use and though "wow, that's cool," like, super impressed and everything. But now, I've been discovering new tricks to colouring and lighting and shading and line art, left and right, and I come back to watch this and just go "WUT." Skillzzzz

What's the point of coloring different parts one uniform color before adding in smaller details and adding individual colors? I really want to get in to doing this kind of thing, but I'm having a little bit of trouble following the process. Great work by the way!

Really awesome job, my dude! The only thing I would suggest would be to maybe next time do shadows underneath where the hair is falling on the face. Cuz the light was coming from above them and the ponies with hair in front of their faces like Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Twilight didn't have any shadow from their hair and stuff... bugged me a teeny bit, but I still think you did an amazing job! Please don't get offended by my small criticism, I'm just making a suggestion, if you're gonna be doing realistic shading in the future. Keep up with what you do 😉👉👉

This is so SO SOOO good! I only wish I could follow everything that you're doing here. It would be beyond fantastic if you made a long tutorial video drawing a character (or a couple) in the same way but at normal speed and narrating the entire process and every little step. I would pay for that honestly lol. I would love to be drawing like this, but there are just a lot of steps that I don't understand even playing it back at 0.25x speed trying to catch on.
