GREAT VIDEO! BUT YOU LEFT OUT THE ACCA. CAN YOU DO A SEPARATE VIDEO ON THE ACCA. THE ACCA IS TRYING TO GET AUDITOR STATUS IN SOUTH AFRICA. CAN YOU COMMENT ON THAT? IS THERE REALLY A SHORTAGE OF ACCOUNTANTS IN SOUTH AFRICA RIGHT NOW? I ALSO HEARD THAT CA TRAINEES AT BANKS LIKE INVESTEC MAKE 20 GRAND A MONTH!

I'm glad you finding value in the videos..
I'm not sure how many modules you have but maybe try study as you attend, so if Monday you attend Acc and audit, try study those two after class coz the content is still fresh in your mind.
If you still feel like you don't have enough time, put in some hours over the weekend, I know it sucks but you gotta do what you need to.
      I hope that helps?

@@lusandangcobo7967 hey Lusanda I'm a 3rd year Bcom CA student, I think 2nd year hits coz it's the first time you meet cores as stand alone modules, I completely support what Ntwanie is saying.
Also if your lecturers upload study info ahead of time or you know what you are going to be doing in your next lesson try to go through the work before hand and have notes and questions of your own.
Also it would help you to have a year plan, week plan and daily plan of all the things that you need to do not forgetting to schedule time to have fun. Last but not least be patient with yourself💜💜

      Hi Karabo.
I am honestly not very familiar with the Acca Qualification.
From the little reading I've done it seems you can complete it withing 3 years and the you can use the designation. I see they speak a lot about financial accountants, so it may be an option if you don't want SAIPA, or CIMA.
Like I said, I'm not very familiar with it but you can Google around.

Then if one becomes a professional accountant and want to be a chartered accountant ,what about CTA...because to qualify as PA(SA) you don't need CTA.what would happen, will one just go straight to do SAICA articles and write those board exams to Qualify as CA(SA)?
