    2:46 who can register for CGMA and just do stragic level? Is it only CAs or even AGAs. Also, if you didnt pass ITC, but have articles, what do you register 4 on CIMA, if you like to get CGMA then do APT

    • @preciousnotico
      @preciousnotico  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I understand this agreement applies to CAs(SA) that have met all the requirements to qualify, including ITC, Articles, and APC. You can read the full details of the agreement by clicking the link in the description.
      If you have completed articles, you will likely start at the CIMA management level and do your objective tests for the three pillar exams and then the management case study exam. After which, you will then do the strategic level. Your article's experience will likely meet the Practical Experience Requirements (PER) for CIMA, so you can qualify as a CGMA after completing your strategic case study exam. After receiving your CGMA qualifications, you can register for APC.

    Great discussion! I recently heard on another video that if you enter through certain gateways such as entering straight to the strategic level, you may not be eligible to write the APC. Have you heard anything about this? I wanted to go this route but now I am unsure.

      I am not sure about that. I will have to read up on it

      You need a degree NQF level 7…
      And you need to have the CGMA designation when you register for APC program & exam

    • @hazelveremu9364
      @hazelveremu9364 Před 7 měsíci

      Plus registering for strategic level you need to have done honours in financial management or something similar
      Or unless you wrote the cima exams.. all the other 3 levels

    If you have an advance diploma in financial management which is equivalent to NQF level 7 does it make you eligible

    • @preciousnotico

      It does apply to advanced diploma as well because it is an equivalent of a BCom

    I real wanna do cima , what are the disadvantages of doing cima with a bcom Accounting with hons in Management Accounting or financial Management . I just wanted to jump straight to it

    • @preciousnotico
      @preciousnotico  Před 11 měsíci

      I am not sure I get your question. Do you mean the disadvantages of doing cima instead of writing the CIMA exams?

    • @user-vz3lq1if7m
      @user-vz3lq1if7m Před 11 měsíci

      @@preciousnotico no , i mean disadvantages of doing with while you have bcom Accounting an not doing an hons where the hons is cima accredited or not

    • @preciousnotico
      @preciousnotico  Před 11 měsíci +1

      @user-vz3lq1if7m Well the advantage of doing a Cima accredited honors is that it exempts you from E2 P2 and F2 exams and prepares you for the management case study exam and the strategic level. In contrast, the disadvantage of not doing it is that you'd either have to study for these exams by yourself or would have to get a tuition provider. I hope this answers your question
