I ordered a meal deal from Subway once, they didn't have the crisps I wanted so they sent a different flavour and an apology note with an extra cookie for free, whilst I didn't like that flavour of crisps I appreciated it much more than if they had sent nothing.
I went to get my collection order from Domino's one night at the agreed time. Turns out they'd had a balls up in the kitchen for some reason and were running late, so mine wasn't ready and would be another 10 minutes.
As compensation they offered me a free 500ml bottle of Diet Coke. Not bad, was happy with that.
You appreciate an apology note, a free cookie and a bag of crisps that are a different flavour more than sending nothing? Fuck me, you're hard to please. I'd have felt obligated to suck them off for being so kind.

As a customer of Subway in Hull who uses Deliveroo, I can tell you that Subway couldnât care less. They delivered my order entirely wrong without the drink and when I phoned the Subway branch they said âIâm not authorised to do customer serviceâ..love your videos by the way
That's the most ridiculous and pathetic excuse I heard in my life!

The entire demeanour of the Subway staff member, is all to representative of the experience I have every time I visit any Subway location.
Staff that don't wanna be there, hygiene questionable, don't wanna honour Subway vouchers or coupons.
Guy basically couldn't give a SHIT when you went back.

13:33 I had a similar experience from a subway in my area while doing deliveroo. Once they handed the order I've asked the guy if "that's it? Just one bag?" And he said yes. Once at the customer he pointed out that there was items missing. I quickly went back to the restaurant and witnessed the manager talking with the customer over phone saying he gave everything to the driver. Once he finished talking to the customer I told him that wasn't the full order and he miraculously found the extra bag ment to go with my order laying around. He quickly blame it on the guy who passed the order to me saying he's new and mistakes can happen. But I heard the manager saying to the customer that he gave everything to the driver!!?!! I quickly phoned deliveroo and told them what happened. I'm having more and more orders like this on both deliveroo and just eat. I stopped doing just eat mainly for this reason. Too many restaurants trying to make me look like I'm steeling. 4 deliveries in a raw from a specific KFC with either wrong order or wrong items or missing items and 4 conservative orders from Starbucks where staff are beyond disrespectful and looking for a triggering behaviour. I've started reporting all this, waisting my time writing emails after emails but they just din care. Until like a month ago I was disregarding all these issues and just declining orders from restaurants with issues. But I thought maybe if I report them things will improve. But nothing will improve because apparently no other drivers bothers reporting.
I'm going to contact a news outlet at a point and give them the story with what's going on on these platforms because what Just eat done to me on a McDonald's order it's just wrong and surely illegal. Not to mention the experiences I had in McDonald's for months and months. Hopefully you'll come across a article at a point detailing everything I've experienced.
Note my friend, Just eat has secret drivers checks on other drivers during a issue. So what happened to you it's not a coincidence. They were looking for you to be disrespectful towards the subway staff for making you look you stole the drink. On deliveries that takes way longer than expected to pick up, just pay attention to your surroundings. You'll notice them as they're obvious. Restaurants play a part as well as the secret driver.
Be safe on the road and keep the content up. I'm actually picking up from your style of work in order to improve myself in providing the service.

I never get soft drinks with my orders. Not only because they charge much more than you can get them at your local supermarket, but these things happen and they couldn't care less. On the other hand, I wish there was an option on the app that allowed the restaurant to communicate directly with the customer if there was something missing.
Future Ref... If You Drive To The Loading Bay At The End Of The Car Park At Victoria There Is Courier Parking For The Whole Station...
Really stand up that you went back to inform the subway worker why he needs to be clearer even though you had your side of the story covered with the camera. As you mentioned, that will probably help out drivers after you!

I once ordered fish and chips and they sent the fish without the chips đ called the restaurant directly and they couldnât stop apologising. They said to order a can of coke, and theyâd send me some extras. Order finally came with a fresh set of fish and chips, an extra portion of chips to go with the lonely fish and my drink of course. Was frustrating yet hilarious at the same time

We had delivery drivers come to my old job all the time and we were out of something, and we immediately told the driver to contact the customer and ask if they wanted a substitute or to just delete that item we were out of if they didnât want a substitute

Recently orders Burger King. They didn't have an item (which they should have shown as out of stock on the app). All i got was an extra receipt paper with the words "no more ask them for a refund". Their app doesn't give a choice to ask for a refund. Contacting them also doesn't work. Last time I wil be ever ordering Burger King from their app.

yeah theres no drink because they didnt have it but they still pocket the cost of the drink in the order! The scam where i live for a while was offering meal deals with 2 litre drinks included but when your meal arrived it was only 1 or 1.5 litre. then they started useing imported drinks from poland,easter europe etc where brands were cheaper

You're basically right about the principle, even though missing drinks in orders of any kind are pretty much the most common issue.
As a customer i would never report even spilled drinks, i mean really... can be annoying but if the shop or fast food chain is going cheap on the packaging, what can we do to make them revert their choices.
If they don't know how to get a hot drink packaged securely I would tell them. Why accept shody customer service that we pay for on top of everything else.
@@daniellatheczarina2u915 It's not just a matter of getting things secured. It's a matter of packing which sometimes is NOT designed mainly for delivery purposes. And having tired employees that put beverages together without necessarily securing everything as tight as it might need. When you get a 2km trip things might be fine, when you need to travel 7/8 km from the restaurant to the customer things might not get as good as they should and some spillage could occur.
The subway worker should have told you there is a drink on that order but they were sold out. Instead he said there wasnât a drink?! Thatâs miscommunication right there. He didnât even apologize, What a douchebag.

I can count on both hands how many times my Uber Eats driver said: "They didn't give me a drink."
I ordered two dinners and got one dinner. No soup, no salad. I know it's not the driver's fault. The fact that in the USA, McDonald's won't allow the drivers in, they tell them, "Use the drive thru." So they can't verify the order. A mess it is.
