Then, after work, he goes home and has to take the time to edit this video for your entertainment. Please, spend a second to click on the Like button. that crushed concrete sure looks like a nice decent material to work with, it lays down uniform and has nice compaction from the way it appears in the video.
    3 loader buckets of crushed concrete mixed with 1 bucket of dry cement just add water and you'd have the perfect recipe for a good solid floor in a pole barn where a guy keeps his equipment.

    • @boogieman3165
      @boogieman3165 Před 5 měsíci

      @@skidmark7845The metal is rebar that was left in the concrete, not sure why it wasn't removed before crushing it but it shouldn't cause a problem unless you find a lot of sharp pieces. One other problem with using crushed concrete for a driveway is when it's dry you'll get a lot more dust kicked up than if you used ABC stone. It's great for a base and then put a thin layer of clean stone on top makes for a good solid driveway.

    Crushed concrete makes a good road base. Coal slag makes a good road base too. We have a coal burning power plant near where I live. My dad bought some to repair our driveway on our dairy farm years ago when I was a kid. Back then I ran around without shoes a lot. I quickly learned not to walk on the coal slag without shoes because it will tear your feet up.

    You should always lift straight up a few inches as you enter the toe of the pile. Enter until you feel you are about to stop. Lift straight up and get weight on the front tires. At that same moment start hitting the accelerator. Then start your curl but also lift. If you curl on entry you ramp and the bottom of the bucket gets pushed up and you loose traction AND wear the bucket bottom quickly.

    Great film editing when you combined the two shots while loading the truck. Looking forward to seeing Ol Justin again. Keep up the good work.

    That was some good filming/editing that loading sequence. You should give your filming/editors a pat on the back

    Thats nice stuff they must have crushed that with a jaw and cone its pretty fine. We only get 4 inch minus when it comes to crushed concrete.

    That loading sequence was very nicely edited, with shots going from the loader to the dump and back. Chris is getting very good at these productions.

    I ran one of those articulating loaders in high school. The slightest hill felt like I was going to roll over.

      @dennisholst4322 it wasn't that, it's how it worked. It was more like an illusion.

    That's some nice material, actually has moisture in it. How much is crushed concrete where you are?
