The way you got the dog to stop biting and look in camera was perfection. 😄
Yota is coming along nicely! Really like the looks of the "push bar" on the front. Those KC lights will just enhance it that much more. Thank you so much for sharing
Hair developer cream is what you need to white the plastic, regular hydrogen peroxide works too, but the secret that you have to have is UV light so usually people just brush it on and set in sun 👍
Sweet potato fries and Chipotle sauce. Yum. I had not heard the bit about leaf spring tightening, good to know. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all
Labor of love, rebuilding your dads truck is a great gift
I was working with an old timer that used some 2" wide painters tape to make a pour spout on his gallon cans . He put the tape in a V at one edge of the can to slow down and direct the paint to a smaller stream . When done he pulled off tape and threw it away and put lid back on . 👍 You guys are doing a great job on this . 🍻🍻🍻
OMG!! The Mr Rogers imitation was very good, followed by your giggle with I realized sounds VERY much like the true Mr. Rogers😂
In the first 5 minutes I can tell Buddy is indeed a Good Boy.
I miss doing things for my father he was always so excited see things when they were completed. Enjoy every minute you have around him and I am sure he will love what you have done for him.
For trying to locate holes put some masking tape up to it poke the holes in the tape then transfer the tap to you're metal works with everything when trying to guesstimate where holes are at 😊
Good idea I'll try that next time
Dad's gonna be a happy man.
Good trick for making those holes in the bracket. Take some painters tape and put it over both holes then punch the painters tape. If you are on the other side of the piece from a bracket you can use it as a direct template on the bracket. If doing it on the same side of the bracket like you are doing here you can put it on some paper and transfer it than turn it around on the bracket. I found this trick out when fabbing up a bracket for my HF winch cutoff switch that I wanted mounted by my battery. I had a piece with 2 90s that was going to be bolted to my fender where there were some convenient holes. That was actually my first bracket I've ever fabbed and it came out really good. Watching channels like yours I think helped me for figuring out the whole process so thanks!
It’s definitely looking better every time we see it 👍
🎄🎉HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL YOU GUYS 🎉🎄
Got the perfect Jeep for your new Bleepin Jota Channel. My YJ is sitting on Toyota axles.
2:06 Mr Bleepin
Bleepin People: I watch every day and laugh to tears. Love all the details of your lead in. Oh yeah...content interesting too...
Kool intro. GREAT vid. Very interesting to watch. Your lunch lady is a keeper. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Absolutely loved the intro
The hydrogen peroxide trick should work, but I've always seen guys use, a stronger grade that's made for hair and the leave it in the sun or us uv light
Yup, UV lamp is better since you can run it at night too as well as getting consistent exposure.
Hope is so awesome!!!! You are very blessed to have such a beautiful, wonderful, smart and respectful wifey!!! She is definitely a one in a million kind of gal!!!! Merry Christmas and happy New Year BleepinJeep family!!!!! Keep up the awesome videos.
Thank you so much! She is a blessing
a trick i've seen for plastics is Hydrogen Peroxide and UV flood lights and let it soak for about 48 hours with the UV lights shining through a clear fish tank or some kind of transparent container that is liquid tight, might have to use stronger peroxide as well, 'yoda is looking good
So you know Matt you kind of have a Fred Rogers personality. Which is very good and great.
Put some wide painters tape over the holes, mark the holes on the tape. Remove the tape and place the tape on the bracket and there you go…
I can't picture how this works?
@@bleepinjeep After thinking a bit longer, with offset holes, tape may not be the best option. You could use a paper strip, but grease may be faster.
Here’s a short video on what I was trying to say.
czcams.com/video/J0bG2poiV6A/video.html
Man... this is looking fantastic.I'm gonna' say better than the factory. Detail is where it's at. Thanks, guys.
It's gonna be so much better than factory, just wait!
I bet.@@bleepinjeep
To remove the yellow you do need hydrogen peroxide but you need a really strong mixture of it, like the kind you find a hair salons. You set it out in the sun and the UV rays restore it back to white. You can also get it in a paste form, but either way you do it, it needs ot be in the sun, and the side you want to convert needs to be exposed. Its called retrobrighting if you want to look more into it.
I had bought a set of SD truck leaf springs for my 1995.5 toyota tacoma that was 2wd with the v6 and 5 speed manual. Grandfather had special ordered that truck and I was doing what you are doing and sprusing it up. Took over 6 months before the springs showed up and was never able to get ahold of SD about the leaf springs. Truck ended up being sold before springs showed up and I used them on my 95 XJ with a 2” drop shackle and a 1” block. Gave me about 4” of lift and pushed the axle back an inch or 2. Rode way better and was alot easier to tow with
Loved the introduction and Mr Roger’s song 😊
Great work
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you guys, and your families.
Great fender flare selection 😊
Your Mr. Rogers impersonation was SOOOOOO FUNNY!! I often wondered if anyone every made that reference to you and you answered my question! Keep up the great content! Love the channel!
Although this project is probably already done yet we won't see the finished build until 12/2024, I'm still enjoying the build.
Looking good guys.
Thanks 👍
You guys work better after the lunch lady visits!! 😁
You’ll have to get ahold of the nuts and bolts guys that Vice Grip Garage, Robby Layton and all those guys talked to. Then you’ll be set up.
Thanks Matt
The Toy is looking good! Also love the long format video. Thank you.
Ok that really wasn't Marshmallow Dipping Sauce Right ??? EWWW LOL. Your dads truck is really comin along, your really paying attention to little details. And i really think your dad's gonna really love it. Thanks for the video guy's, and thank you Hope for feeding the guys lol.
Sure is, and it's great!
If you need to remove decal adhesive paper towel soaked with Naptha stuck to the area will loosen it up. It won’t work through the vinyl. The eraser wheel is the best for big areas hands down
lol, your intro was like watching the intro to a Sitcom TV show🤙😎
Looks good. I've seen plastic restoration on CZcams they used peroxide and uv light
U gotta use uv light with peroxide
You might try a heat gun on the overflow tank.
Thumbs Up for Lunch Lady.
OMG, on one hand just another great BleepinJeep episode, but ya first got me crave'n doughnuts and already the marshmallow dipping sauce steels the whole show! I'm make'n that! 🙌
Hope you enjoy, it's so good!
Best fruit dip ever....equal part marshmallow dip and cream cheese and a little vanilla extract.....it is so good...fyi
I found an eraser wheel on Amazon for about $15 worked really well getting the old Z71 off-road sticker on my '96 GMC off
Merry christmas
Should have done a aftermarket bumper more beefy look!
We spray that Cooking Spray on that Chop saw blade it last a little longer an cuts better .. I have cooked Parts in the house oven before i painted !😁
Yay, Dad’s Toyota
Looking forward to the roof rack build! Need some ideas for my heavy fishing kayak roof rack.
Coming soon!
Vinegar and baking soda in the reservoir to clean it out.. but the plastic is just heat faded, I don’t think you can make it perfect again. Won’t hurt to try though! And your hydrogen peroxide is weak. Get some 10% or stronger and it might make a huge difference
All that fab work you put into a cheap generic bull bar and new valance you could have just bought a whole tube bumper and bolted it on. And you can use sulfamic acid to clean that overflow tank. Get it any any hardware store.
18:23 - go ahead and get him a new license plate. That one shows old Route 66 running about 40 miles north of reality through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.
I can't find any decent ones, got any links? I bought 1 but it's a poor print with no emboss.
Glad i could inspire y'all so much. Imma go smoke some weed now. 🐓
Merry Christmas ya Bleeping people!
Those 3m wheels are great, just store them inside a shop rag or a container. cause if you get even 1 metal shaving on it, it will embed in the rubber and destroy the paint. ask me how I found that out haha
Loved your intro today….prime time!
Merry Bleeping Christmas!
Check out "move" bumbers. They make some pretty nice weld together bumper kits. They even have them for these older toyota's. Doing one on my dodge now, will probably go the same route on my 90 dlx.
I like the intro..
BEST. INTRO. EVER!!!!! Love you guys.
Hi I like to tell you Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and a Happy new year 🎉 ok and please be careful out there ok I will always praying 🙏 for you and your wife and your family and your friends ok love Lorilee xoxoxoxox 🙏 😊 🎉🎉🎉
15:48 cut the pizza box open and serve from the inner cardboard so you are not eating every germ that's on the outside of the box, via Walmart workers that pick boogers lol and all its travels !!! Just trying to help a brother or 2 out :)
Just a show idea, build/glow up the ideal parts washer or hydraulic press, or sandblaster.
Sleepin in the garage is better than the dog house.... lol
Your dad's biggest concern was the quart of oil every 500 miles. Since you aren't diving into the motor, make sure the pcv system is working as there is a slight chance that could be a oil consumption reason
Love the sitcom lead in. I'm still laughing.....
The peroxide thing must be used with sun light, but depends on the plastic, it works with ABS.
Your wife should do cooking videos of your lunches.
Try peroxide with suds less ammonia. A whole bottle to a 1/4 cup in warm water
Bad for business SD Springs. Stop the MADNESSSSSSS
They appear to be out of business.
Zerk is the surname of the man who invented the 'grease fitting'. His front name was Oscar.
i put one of those aftermarket valence pieces on my bumper and it was filled with cracks a year later, the metal is really thin and doesn't hold up, it's so thin that it's also impossible to weld the cracks up
Do the hydrogen peroxide with a uv light will turn it back white but have to have it completely submerged n wrap the box with aluminum foil n have no light but the UV light getting on it
How can I find the marshmallow dipping sauce? I would definitely try that it sounds amazing
I am really enjoying this renovation series your dad is going to love the truck when you get it done.
I wanted to say merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone
It's marshmallow creme found on the baking aisle, then she adds a tiny bit of milk and microwave and stir.
Hey, it may sound weird, but why won’t you guys try the light restoration kit to restore the windshield washer reservoir. Love the content, impatiently waiting all the time.
Matt you need to do what @Robbylayton did to his press and mod the jack to use an air line for more control also the mod he did to the press to turn it in to a press break. the video he does the mods in is called "How To Build Expensive Shop Tools On A Budget"
Lol I referenced Bleeping Jeeps bumble rollcage video in Robby's video to tell Robby how to keep the pipe from twisting because he got the same bender as you... Funny how there are so many fans of the same group of channels
I'll check it out
@@brandonb4462 I too told robby to check out the same video after seeing him make a giant cork screw, I lucked out finding such a great bunch of youtubers that all know each other like MORR, Fab Rats, Trail mater, Rudys adventure & design, Robby Layton , Misadventure labs and many more
That catalytic has how many miles on it!? I bet it's ready for a change.
Just remember this: a cat converter has 0 moving parts in it. Those things don’t “need” to be changed unless you have a mechanical reason for doing that. 1 is for an exhaust performance upgrade to a “high flow” unit. Another is because it became damaged somehow. You’ve also got the possibility of a result of theft due to the criminal element. Mechanical is also a potential problem, but that’s usually traced back to an upstream issue”, and the cat was a victim resulting from that problem.
Marshmallow dipping sauce? No. Just no.
Gotta try it... It really is amazing
It's just candied yams in stick format
For sweet potato fries, absolutely yes and you have no idea what your talking about
He’s talking about diabetes and insulin resistance. Most Americans would eat a turd if there was enough sugar on it and some more sugar sauce to dip it in.
@@Walkeranz and what are you talking about? There's no mention of diabetes in the comment I replied to, you must be talking about someone else
Looks great so far,but are you going leave that spare gas tank filler in that hokey spot?
It's been working good there for 25+ years so I'm not sure what's wrong with it or where else it would go.
The good news is that the water reservoir can be bleached just by placing it in the sun. The bad news is that it takes several days, like months.
Strange you had an issue with SD truck springs mine usually show up in a week, must of been a one off. It is better to use a synthetic grease on polyurethane bushings. I've used regular bearing grease and have had them wear out prematurely until I switched to synthetic grease.
Should put a dishwasher in your shop for cleaning items that will fit in there they work awesome actually, and they can clean parts will working on something else at the same time. I've ran stuff into the house and used the tub to clean stuff being single has it perks, but you don't have a lunch lady so I guess give and take.
They have been out of business since April but left their site up and still taking money 💰
@@bleepinjeep Sheesh, that's pretty low down. I hope it was just an oversight and refunds will be issued. It's very easy to set up an e-commerce site these days and I can see how if a small operation had a health emergency or something the webfront store could just go on ticking for a while even if there's no one at the wheel.
That sucks. Makes sense the last set of springs I got was back in August 2022. They had good prices on leaf springs to.
I see you have a couple of guitars. Are they just decorative or do you play
Mostly decorative. I played trumpet but wanted my kids to have a full array of instruments to choose from. Daughter chose flute, some chose soccer 😆
....love the new opening...
That intro was awesome 😂
Bleach the plastic?
Marshmallow and sweet potatoes have always made me gag, I prefer sugar free ketchup because I can't do super sweet stuff.
Same here, except sweet 'tater fries please me well with just a bit of salt. Ranch dressing for dipping only if there's something off with the fries.
Nope, totally delicious
Salon 40 from the beauty shop to whiten plastic.
The intro is funny 😆
Bummer, it looks like SD Spring is out of business and still taking orders. Not good.
That does not look like December weather. Hot sauce and ketchup work great for sweet potato fries.
Matt, has anyone ever told you that you look like your wearing makeup? You skin looks so perfect.. lol
Lol, no it's just oily skin. Great for being shiny I guess but bad for acne 😆
@@bleepinjeep lol
Can someone please help me understand. Is this Bleepin Jeep associated with Colt in South Dakota? I am new to all of this and just would like to know. Thanks.
Gonna have to watch some more content!
What’s the deal with the 40 gallon fuel tank? How does it work? Factory tank is still there. Also where did it come from?
I think its 40 gallons total, so probably a 30 gallon tank, its gravity fed into the original tank. It probably came from that magazine in episode 1.
Had the same issue with SD springs finally had to cancel everything and get a refund
SD Springs is out of business.
Lunch Lady Hope is the real hero of this program!
🤣😂🤣 the intro was great ‼️🫡🏴☠️
