Whenever I slept in our morning class, my home room teacher would let me sleep through it and wake me up at the end. She was super nice and literally the closest teacher I have ever been with in any of my schools. We didn’t do much in the morning class so she didn’t care.
I hate teachers that do this. They literally think you can do it on command and on purpose… which like, if you can, btw, is a sign of poor physical/mental health and something deeper going on which should not be their business to criticise or humiliate
My physics teacher was rambling on and on about a completely unrelated topic to the one we were meant to be learning for about 15mins, and I accidentally fell asleep. I woke up and he asked me if I needed water😭
This is what our teachers were like in middle school, but then we got to high school and now the teachers don't care. They're like, "whatever, you're old enough to be responsible for your own education. If you fall behind because you were taking a nap that's your own problem."
"If school isn't a place to sleep, home isn't a place for work" -me after being in trouble for sleeping in class because I pulled an all nighter trying to complete my homework
My teacher likes to splash water for those sleepy heads at my class and tell them to wash their face so they will feel less sleepy 😂 there are also some understanding teachers who just let some of the students sleep because they usually take extra classes till night time.
One time I fell asleep in class, I was in the back of the class btw, and halfway through the lesson my teacher was like “AYO! (Real name) you good? 😃😄” I woke up and smiled. Everyone was staring at me because I usually don’t get called out, but man was it funny
my old teacher would let us sleep if we fell asleep, if someone was about to bother them, she would tell them to leave the person alone, it was pretty cool
My History teacher takes our HUGE books and just drops them on the floor next to the person to wake them up then makes them stand up, it's REALLY loud and I hate when he does it and I didn't know he was about to.
The problem with teachers like this is that they assume they purposely stay up late. You don't know why they are as tried as they are. They might be abused at home or not have a ride home and have to walk. Or whatever. I knew this one kid who always slept during class because his family would keep him up till 2 am because they didn't want to take care of 6 of his siblings, and would worry about one parent being out late and not coming home. He took care of his family at 15.
WHAT OUR TEACHER DOES WHEN SOMEONE’s ASLEEP IS TELL THE REST OF THE CLASS TO ALL START 👏 CLAPPING SO…. IT WILL WAKE UP THE SLEEPING STUDENT THEN START CLAPPING 👏 TOO😹
All that my teachers would do is look at them then notice they are sleeping and let them sleep and then have them stay after school and tell what they were talking about
I do not t agree with this approach. You never know why that student is sleeping. In my county there is over 5000 homeless students. Many of our high school students work in the evening to help support thier families. Some are beaten every single day. Never shame someone for not getting enough sleep. Being in you classroom may be the only place they feel safe in the world.
i don’t really like my teacher but this was hilarious so my friend fell asleep and my teacher threw a piece of tissue at his head and it fell so i threw it and he woke up really confused😂
I was always good about staying awake in class, but once I fell asleep during a test and apparently everyone in my row saw me wake up just in time to avoid smacking my head on the desk. It was DEAD silent in there, I am so glad I hadn't done that.
in grade 7 I had literally one of the best teachers ever, he was really nice and quite soft spoken, actually good at helping me understand subjects I didn't get aswell. I just get tired for no reason sometimes, the end of grade seven especially. He wouldn't shout at anyone if they fell asleep. He'd just come and quietly tap the desk and ask if I was okay, make sure I wasnt feeling sick and then let me go back to sleep wish he was still my teacher :[
I feel asleep in science class and my teacher who's apparently really strict and yells in Spanish(favorite part), she surprisingly let me sleep till lunch
My teacher saw that I was sleeping in her class a lot and asked me what was wrong after the school day had ended. I loved her as a teacher so much because she cared enough to ask and helped me reach out for help with my personal issues. Every month I come back to her school and I see how she’s doing and give her little gifts.
Funny thing is that I wanna be a band teacher some day. So if u fall asleep in my class, first of all that's talent right there because there are no desks, you have an instrument, and we're playing 90% of the class. So if you manage to fall asleep we're going to let you-
My friend fell asleep in the middle of a math lesson and the teacher instructed the kids to do something and discreetly came over and tapped her shoulder to wake her up and updated her on the lesson quietly. I was so appreciative of that even though it didn’t happen to me.
I remember when I was little, we had a lot of stuff going on at home, and a good portion of it happened at night. So I would sleep during my classes at school. It eventually got to the point where all the teachers and principals knew what was going on, and they would let me sleep as much as they could without me completely failing. It felt nice having people think of you that much. And even now, now that I can’t sleep right most nights due to all that when I was little, I’ve got plenty of teachers who let me sleep on occasion. Probably helps that I’ve got as and bs too. But I’m very greatful for teachers
my teacher used to draw smiley faces and sad faces on the hands people who slept in class lol sometimes he would also make us applause, or greet the “principal” just to shock the people who were asleep lol 10/10, def miss him
My sixth grade teacher was so kind when it came to this. If a student was sleeping, he’d give them a minute and talk with them privately after class. I was raising my little brother when I was home and I rarely got any sleep, so those moments of sleep really helped.
this one made me remember that time I accidentally slept on a quiz in math class, it was really a rough day for me and fell asleep didn't even realized it. I woke up to my teacher glaring daggers at me lol from the teachers desk.
ah, reminds me when my state testing teacher let me sleep when i finished the tests. he was a great man and he was funny. i miss him. i hope he has a great life ahead of him!
One of my teachers just asks me, “are you okay?” And I’ll wake up because I’m a light sleeper. Which is honestly a lot better than one of my other teachers, he would play a SUPER loud noice to get the kid to wake up, and we would all have to cover our ears. I’m pretty sure he had anger issues or sum, because one time the same kid was talking while he was reading and, no joke, he threw the book on the floor and started screaming.
When I was in 3rd or 4th grade I started having problems with sleeping in class. I was a good student, and I remember my teacher feeling to guilty to wake me up most of the time. She even told my mom the same thing. The only person who would wake me up was my academic rival at the time, and even he only did it because he was worried about me. I’m glad that my teacher was considerate because if she had called me out in front of everyone it would have really hurt, since I was struggling with some extreme problems in my home life at the time.
I’m epileptic, and for a time, while I was in high school, I was on a medication that made me very drowsy,so I often fell asleep in class. One day the teacher banged on my desk to wake me, I woke up,said,”Sorry.”,then suddenly fell to the floor desk and all,and had a seizure. She never woke me again!
Honestly this is why I really liked my 5th grade teacher because I fell asleep in class only for a couple mins at the end of the day and he saw me but didn't care because it was a couple days after my parents said they were divorcing
My high school history teacher let me sleep in his class. Which was kinda a blessing. I didn't enjoy high school much because of undiagnosed ADD and autism that affected my ability to do homework. I am deeply grateful to all my teachers that let me, a depressed insomniac, sleep instead of berating me. This video gave me so much anxiety, but that shows how good you are at acting!! Keep up the great work!
I wish teachers tried speaking with their students when they fall asleep then doing this shit (especially the staring one) because I physically struggle to sleep early due to not being tired and the more awake I am, the more intrusive sorta thoughts I get, causing me to become extremely anxious and stay awake till I physically can’t no more since then I’ll pass out without the thoughts.
"I'm just going to wait for them to wake up to everyone staring at them" _oh my god, is she the devil-_ Funny thing how the teachers in my middle school would let ME sleep 😀 now this is an actual case of Teacher Picking Favorites

My teacher began stacking things on the sleeping students head. When he was still asleep she lightly hit him in the head with an empty folder. It was hilarious 😂
This is rare for a British secondary school class for me
Okay can I come to your school? 😂
NO MY SCHOOL SUCKS. My math teacher literally gave a kid a c2 (detention) for closing a door. That was only the odd good moment the rest are horrid tho 😂😂😂
child abuse
@@asher_the_ace5753 DAMN 🤣😭
I remembered, I had a pregnant classmate senior year and she fell asleep during class, she was snoring and smiling at the same time so I'm guessin she was having a really nice dream, and everyone in that class heard her so everyone smiles and laughs too, she woke up confused that all eyes were on her.lol
If school isn't a place to sleep, then home isn't a place to work
“long night?”
“yes actually i stayed up until 2am with all the homework you gave us”
My teacher actually lets me sleep during class sometimes because I have to look after my siblings during the night
Because of my father
This is what our teachers were like in middle school, but then we got to high school and now the teachers don't care. They're like, "whatever, you're old enough to be responsible for your own education. If you fall behind because you were taking a nap that's your own problem."
"If school isn't a place to sleep, home isn't a place for work"
-me after being in trouble for sleeping in class because I pulled an all nighter trying to complete my homework
green flag at my school: whenever you sleep in class they wake u up and ask u if u want to go to the nurses office and sleep
Lucky
My teacher likes to splash water for those sleepy heads at my class and tell them to wash their face so they will feel less sleepy 😂 there are also some understanding teachers who just let some of the students sleep because they usually take extra classes till night time.
"I do not come to your bedroom and teach, do not come to my classroom and sleep"
Then they proceed to hand out homework 🙄
These are the same teachers that set an ungodly amount of homework for the next day
One time I fell asleep in class, I was in the back of the class btw, and halfway through the lesson my teacher was like “AYO!
Isn’t that nap time???? Like it’s movie time let us sleep 😂 🤣 lmao
My teachers never do this. They just let you sleep. My teachers just say they never know what’s going on at home.
My history teacher doesn’t care, as long as we know what’s happening in the lesson and doing our work, we could do whatever we want
WHAT OUR TEACHER DOES WHEN SOMEONE’s ASLEEP IS TELL THE REST OF THE CLASS TO ALL START 👏 CLAPPING
SO….
That 10 minute nap sounds like a life saver right now
"I'm gonna all let you take a 10 minute na-"
*20-30 head flops in unison*
I want you to be my teacher since this is so accurate
I was always good about staying awake in class, but once I fell asleep during a test and apparently everyone in my row saw me wake up just in time to avoid smacking my head on the desk. It was DEAD silent in there, I am so glad I hadn't done that.
in grade 7 I had literally one of the best teachers ever, he was really nice and quite soft spoken, actually good at helping me understand subjects I didn't get aswell. I just get tired for no reason sometimes, the end of grade seven especially. He wouldn't shout at anyone if they fell asleep. He'd just come and quietly tap the desk and ask if I was okay, make sure I wasnt feeling sick and then let me go back to sleep
wish he was still my teacher :[
I feel asleep in science class and my teacher who's apparently really strict and yells in Spanish(favorite part), she surprisingly let me sleep till lunch
My teacher saw that I was sleeping in her class a lot and asked me what was wrong after the school day had ended. I loved her as a teacher so much because she cared enough to ask and helped me reach out for help with my personal issues. Every month I come back to her school and I see how she’s doing and give her little gifts.
“I do not go to your bedroom to teach, so do not come to my classroom to sleep”
Homework: 👁👄👁
My French teacher when someone is sleeping she tells everyone to be quite then starts counting down by three and once she hits one everyone claps.
When she said i dont go to ur bedroom what about online learning not letting us use the bathroom at home?
My library teacher will let us sleep but will "make fun" of us when we wake up- 😂
I just always get distracted by a plastic bag in a tree outside of the window in class and would watch it fly in the wind
My teacher just stops talking and makes the entire class start clapping until they wake up
Yesss!!! I’m so lucky to have a awesome teacher that lets us taking a nap while she plays a movie 🍿
But I’m very greatful for teachers
my teacher used to draw smiley faces and sad faces on the hands people who slept in class lol
sometimes he would also make us applause, or greet the “principal” just to shock the people who were asleep lol
10/10, def miss him
My science teacher would make a kid go up to a sleeping student with a megaphone and scream in their ear. Reactions were absolutely priceless.
"long night?" yeah the 5 hours of homework this type of teacher would give would probably create a long night.
ah, reminds me when my state testing teacher let me sleep when i finished the tests. he was a great man and he was funny. i miss him. i hope he has a great life ahead of him!
When ur teacher says everyone is sleeping when ur all just resting ur heads and everyone sits up as soon as they say something
Her: Travis. Travis!
Me: yuh **starts singing goosebumps**
“We’ll all be starring at ‘em.”
🎊Best quote of 2022🎊
One of my teachers just asks me, “are you okay?” And I’ll wake up because I’m a light sleeper.
The assistant teacher makes you stand in class if you end up sleeping
I’m epileptic, and for a time, while I was in high school, I was on a medication that made me very drowsy,so I often fell asleep in class. One day the teacher banged on my desk to wake me, I woke up,said,”Sorry.”,then suddenly fell to the floor desk and all,and had a seizure. She never woke me again!
Her FLICKS LIGHT SWICH😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 I turned off the movie... 😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Honestly this is why I really liked my 5th grade teacher because I fell asleep in class only for a couple mins at the end of the day and he saw me but didn't care because it was a couple days after my parents said they were divorcing
Always teachers when kid is caught talking it always says:I'm just gonna wait
My social studies teacher would either bang on the desk, put Rickroll on full volume, or would make everyone yell "WAKE UP" he was the best 🤣
If I ever become a teacher I'm letting Mondays be nap time.... for the students.
girl let me sleep. it’s not my fault that netflix posted a new show and i needed to binge it all night - jeez
`` I do not come to your bedroom and teach ``
Zoom classes:
The “wake him up” brings back so many memories 😔
My fifth grade teacher would just yell "AND *insert name* IS DOWN!" She was a fun teacher.
The movie part on point🤣
"I'm just going to wait for them to wake up to everyone staring at them"
_oh my god, is she the devil-_
Funny thing how the teachers in my middle school would let ME sleep 😀 now this is an actual case of Teacher Picking Favorites
There was a kid in my science enrichment class fell asleep, and my teacher took his chrome book, and didn’t give it back till the end of class. That kid didn’t learn and still falls asleep in class.
Oml this is my class 🙌
I had this math teacher that let the student just sleep if they slept in class. We had this one girl and she would sit down in her chair and fall asleep as soon as we got to math class. The down side to this is whatever assignment you missed you had to make up for it. So she had a ton of assignments to make up for
My elementery teacher was like "is she sleeping? That's fine let her sleep, everyone needs to rest sometime!"
Pls I miss her so so much😭
“I do not come to your bedroom and teach do not come to my classroom and sleep” 🤣
