Yeah, I'm depressed af and have been for so long I really do wonder if life is even worth living anymore if I can't even buy groceries or leave my house or drive around freely or love myself and when I feel like I can I realize I don't have anyone to share these small experiences with, but watching this is healing my soul rn. It makes me feel a little less alone and a little more connected to people. We're all just strangers going through life not knowing what we're doing most of the time, but there's definitely beauty and hope to be had in this messed up world. My goal is to meet people I can really experience life with this year❤

I just want you to know that there are and most definitely will be someone who you can share your experiences with! Maybe even multiple people! Soulmates do exist (imo) and I'm very sure you will find people you can feel with :)
I found mine just recently and have never felt so alive, to find people you can be around is the best feeling you can ever feel, I deeply hope you find those people and are able to experience happiness to no end :)
I remember one of my photography professors didn’t like pictures of the sky or storms because he said it’s so cliché, but I love them and the photographer on here that chases storms and uses them as part of the landscape is exactly the kind of artist I emulate! Those are fantastic!
My photography teacher says the same thing! She says that sky photos are gross and boring and made a rule that we aren't allowed to submit any sky pictures. But dude... I'm absolutely infatuated with sunrises and sunsets and clouds and ESPECIALLY storms. I swear you can visually see my eyes brighten when I see a storm coming

@ nenah_dm it’s a bummer how some teachers become too rigid over time to remember what it’s like to first experience and help grow developing interests, but the particulars of others shouldn’t negate our passions. The horse one was especially amazing to look at by the way.

that one about the single parent adopting the kid is everything to me because i want to do that in the future. i'm 23 now and i've never been in a relationship and honestly don't really miss anything and i'm not sure if a relationship is ever going to be in the cards for me. but i've always wanted to be a parent. when i have a stable career and can save some money, i'm planning to start the process or maybe start fostering first ^^
(before someone starts lecturing me, because i know y'all mean well: i'm currently in school for social work, and i have seen some shit already. ik it's a huge commitment and i'm definitely not going to take it lightly)
This is exactly what I want to do. I also don’t really know if I want to be in a relationship in the future, some days I kind of want one but most days I’m okay with just having friends. I’ve always planned on adopting kids though. And if anyone ever says “but adoption is so expensive and a huge commitment,” remind them that so is birthing the actual kid.

9:33 when I was about nine my parents got divorced and for a long time whenever my dad dropped me off at my mom’s after his weekend I would hold back my tears, go to my room and cry or try not to cry because I knew how hard it was for my dad going back to his apartment alone only seeing me and my brothers every other weekend, and it was hard not seeing him every day. Your kids know more than you think, make sure you hug them extra tight and they’ll hug you tighter back.

Honestly I should have been told no, now I can't live with having the same last name as him because he did so much to me and my mom is still trying to help me through it. It's been 9 years since he left me behind, and I still wish I was never cruel to her like that.

@Soumil Jain basically he said that he drove his son to his mom's house (they are divorced). Father said to take care, and take care of the mom. Also* that he miss them. The kid agreed to it, and then, seemed to understand that he (the father) is all alone and that broke him

that last one really hit me in the face with the fact of how fast time moves and how much of our lives fly by without notice.
Pigeon is a little jealous of the little boy who got adopted, a mom is all I wanted growing up.
When I have these kinda thoughts, I tend to try looking at the more negative aspects of what could've been. Life doesn't always turn out the way you hope it would, so why would a scenario like this be any different? So think abt smth/someone rly important in ur life. Maybe a best friend. I'll create a hypothetical situation here: you met ur best friend at a school ur dad enrolled u in when u were young. Now for the other side of this hypothetical scenario, except you have a mom in this one: you never met your best friend since ur mom found a different school to enroll u in. Bc of this change, u not only missed out on becoming friends with that person, but u missed all the memories, all of ur fav places to go together, ur fav foods that they introduced u to, etc. See? Life would be drastically different and it could be a lot worse. Obv u can always just go "yea well it could be better too" but that's not the point. The point of this is to just see the good parts of ur life rn so u wouldn't wanna change it. Otherwise you'll always be unhappy. Sometimes it's better to look at the negatives so u can rly see the positives in ur life.

@@redlophix5670 oh, that sounds logical. I live in an archipelago country so almost every city has beach or lake. Most of these places are free, you only have to pay for the parking fee (0,5 cents) if you bring vehicle, other than that it costs nothing.
@@iamgorgeous Oh. Yeah, in the region I live you have the opportunity to drive a few hours to reach the sea, however there are lakes all around. But I think the person above was talking about the sea, so...

The email one made me cry. I started an email for my daughter when she was born so I could tell her things that had happened in the moment. I update every 6 months. I had wondered if it mattered and if she would even care when she was older. Seeing that made me emotional and gave me a sort of confirmation that YES, it does matter. I can't wait for her to read them all when she turns 18. She is my pride and joy.

I see little kids going to the elementary school I went to and it makes me miss it because I have some of the best memories there with the teachers counselors and other students and the whole school was like a big family. I'm about to graduate highscool in 32 days (yes I count down) and, honestly, even though I want it to finish because the exams to get in to uni are super stressful, it's so weird. I live in a Greek village and I have the same classmates since kindergarten. I cannot imagine not seeing them every day from now on...
