Traded my 2019 Tesla Model 3 in for a 2022 I-Pace and it was the best car buying decision I ever made. I really believe it's the best all-around car on the market. The poor rear visibility becomes a non-issue when you equip the ClearSight digital rear view mirror and the interior quality is unmatched. Especially considering the physical rotary dials that almost every other luxury EV is missing. After two years with the Model 3 I've learned that adjusting everything through a touch screen becomes very frustrating very quickly. Also the off-road capabilities of I-Pace make it even more versatile. The cherry on top is the incredible service I've received through Jaguar. They made the buying process quick and easy and even gave me a loaner car while tinting the front windows of my I-Pace. Something Tesla never did while my Model 3 was in the shop on two different occasions. I highly recommend the I-Pace if you're looking for a quality EV.
Best car I’ve ever owned, insane how affordable they became start of this year. Test drove a model 3 too and it just felt so cheap and plastic, as impressive as Tesla are technically, the car felt designed for a computer enthusiast whilst the I-Pace feels designed for a driver and has the best luxury interior with the Santorini black paint and cream interior plus panoramic roof
Test drove teslas, audis, volvo, bmw, mercs, and the i-pace simply blew them away once driven. Best daily driver available under 80k
I have had an HSE for over two years now and it's a brilliant car, the range is between 250 and 280 miles depending on how warm the weather is. I would definitely recommend it.
After a 5 month wait for an Ioniq5 ultimate tech. I gave up and bought an ex demonstration Jaguar I pace SE black edition with pan roof. After dealership contributions and a free podpoint wall box and 1 years free podpoint subscription it was no more expensive than the Ioniq5. Its definitely a better car and amazing to drive, I'm anex super bike rider and it's an awesome ride 😎.
There is no reason on this planet why an EV has to look like an ICE vehicle. It doesn’t have a great fossil fuelled block and gearbox to accommodate. Only those who would like electric locomotives to look like steam ones are impressed by such pointlessness!
Ipaces don’t get talked about enough, such a cool car. Added to the potential list. Infotainment looks cool. Always felt there was a gap in market for a car to have a good voice response system
Just picked up one Today! Love it! although the 11kw onboard charger I don't think can be used at home unless you have 3 phase electricity which the vast majority of people don't have. So I will have to make do with 7Kw.
I pick my i-Pace Black up in 10 days time, can't wait. I had test drives in all the other similar EV's. Is the Jaguar quicker than a Tesla, does it charge faster, and go further on a charge - all no. But the Tesla achieves all that because of light weight inferior quality. I got in a 3 month old Tesla recently and all I could hear were the rattles and moving plastic and the owner laughed saying that in 3 years time he would probably just be sat on the battery with everything else having fallen off. I know Tesla zealots will denie all this but to me the whole iPad dash thing looks dated and when I see them on the motorway I'm reminded of Mondeo man!! Hey ho each to his own. I'm trading in my F-Pace so no drop in quality.
Love this car! There's a great documentary on Amazon Prime following its design. Glad that Jaguar kept physical buttons and didn't go 100% on the LCD displays. Driving a car is a connective experience not just a ride. Interior detail is stunning. I hope one day they can push the battery tech to at least 400 miles.
I have had mine for 3.5 years, fantastic car, no problems, would recommend. Very good review
Awesome electric car, love that colour blue. So much tech in new cars, thanks for the great review 👍
Great and fun video. Thank you.
Frankly, I LOVE the Jaguar I-PACE! it drives like no other EV, its luxurious, and looks amazing! For most people (considering the price of similar car, this isn't a bad car to buy, though I always point out the VW ID4 maybe? The 11KW charging upgrade fixes the biggest issue I had with it. The thing is, if you're going to be driving this car aroudn town, commuting to work, charging at home most days with occasional road trips, then the DC charging limits are tolerable, but VW can do 125KW charing, and has a flat curve so charges pretty fast, and something like an Audi etron 55 ha quite a bit more room (so does ID4), and the Charging on road trips for the Audi is just what makes the difference.
Agree! Test drove Etron, felt like a tank!!! Test drive I-Pace, felt normal and fun, with out removing luxury.
Totally agree, it's s great car!
ClearSight mirror helps you see better out the back as it’s a camera etc 🚙👍🏻
Great review 👌 My favourite EV car, perfection 😍 So much quality than an equivalent Tesla, and way cooler than the usual German suspects 😴🥱
I'm driving a 2019 model for 20 months now and it's pure joy to drive indeed, give me a smile each time I get behind the wheel ! And very practical for the family, dog friendly too, no problem so far, range is consistently 380 km so for us it's more than enough. Just sad that Jaguar did such a bad work by not managing to sell it and not making the hype about this car.
Great video and totally agree. In Jan 2023 there are some massive bargains out there on the used market. Now is the time to grab a bargain.
