In this episode of 'Editorial', Mr. Sujit Nair examines the unemployment data released by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). The data, spanning from 2016-17 to 2023-24, offers insight into which religious groups have been most affected by job scarcity or poor job quality. According to CMIE, the employment rate has dropped from 42.79% in 2016-17 to 37.18% in 2023-24.

I wish all these Religious Bigots realise that building Temples, Mosques, Churches, Gurudwaras etc will not increase employment, will not educate the uneducated, will not feed the hungry and starving people, will not improve health, peace and stability in the country.

I am seeing muslim youth climbing ladders of success through small scale, medium scale businesses, learning trade skills (earning more than an average engineer in india) while seeing more and more hindu youth wasting their entire lives waiting for government & private jobs well into their 30s.
I think christians are more employed under BJP, and nothing much has changed for Christians,,

The Indian economy has not been able to create enough remunerative jobs in the non-farm sectors for newly educated youth labour force entrants, which is reflected in the high and increasing unemployment rate.
Keep making tall claims without any data points.. If there is so much unemployment, why is labour so expensive?
