What is Saharan Dust?

- When certain atmospheric conditions combine, dust from the Saharan desert of Africa can be whipped up into the air by storms and carried thousands of miles before falling to the earth in raindrops.
This often most recognisable when the raindrops land on surfaces such as windows and cars and evaporate leaving a trail of dust.

Sahara dust is good for plants because it has lots of minerals
Am from Saint Lucia 🇱🇨 n it's going on.... Over the weekend the sky was extremely white, from my point of view u could've barely see the beach side from my area.... N lately the wind 🍃 has been extremely strong... I 🙏🏼 for everyone's safety.... God will help us!!

It's December I live in Florida I've been hacking up this crap for two months. 😖.
You must be confusing pollen with Saharan dust. The dust cloud is only a mid to late spring occurrence in Florida . Once the summer rainy season in Florida begins, it washes all the mineral rich dust down into the soil where it’s used up by plants.
