South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue - NEW Rotherham Day Manned First Pump turnout & responding, on blue lights, sirens & bullhorn, to a fire in the open and later to assist ambulance. This is the first of many new pumping appliances to enter South Yorkshire, this one being built on an Angloco body.

@@EnidAgnusDei Angloco is a seriously good company, to be honest. They prioritise quality over quantity. Emergency one is only well known because they produce a large number of vehicles while Angloco ensures that the vehicles are fit for purpose. Our E1 pumps break down most weeks.

@@EnidAgnusDei Probably better than the pumps snapping in half like Anglocos do... wonder why essex just cancelled their contract for 30 new pumps with Angloco??? Photographed an angloco pump yesterday which had half the trim missing.

Hi Ben, looks like the first batch of 4 will be going to Sheffield Central, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley with the service looking to buy new batches every year.
