- Finally, a place for the perverts! It's got monsters, sexy Dracula, electricity and a burning windmill. The Dark Universe at Universal Epic Universe (too many universes in that sentence) is probably the land I am most excited about.

I’m so psyched for this land!!! The way they brought this all to life and all the offerings involved are nothing near what I expected. WE WEIRDOS DESERVE A LAND LIKE THIS
The more they put out about this land, the more excited I get. If the concept art holds true to the final product, then they paid a lot of attention to the finer details.
This has easily become the land at Epic Universe that I am most excited for. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Potterhead, but I adore gothic horror settings, and this just looks like a creepy dream.
It’s so cool to see an entire land dedicated to monsters and creepy stuff. I don’t think I have ever seen that in a major park like this.

The makeup experience is basically a whole theme park attraction dedicated to Jack Pierce - the makeup artist responsible for the classic monsters. I’m also real excited for the lone violinist playing creepy stuff in the background
I’ve never been more intrigued by going to the Universal parks until your coverage. Bravo for the burning windmill especially👏🏻
I'm from a Disney family, my Dad and Husband both work there. As a grown up I have never had the desire to go to Universal, until i saw the announcement for Dark Universe! I love all the classic movie monsters, and will have to do the unthinkable. Actually pay to go to a theme park 🤪

Yes, we could afford to go. There are all types of positions at Disney World, not all are low pay. Pretty rude of you to ask though.
Been following the development of this park from back when Theme Park Stop reported on the rumors, so seeing it all coming to life over time has been a massive friggin' trip that's put life into my seedy little foul heart.
Kenny, I will be right there beside you getting the monster make up. I did the Pirate make up in my early 30s at Magic Kingdom, monster make up in my mid 40s seems even more appropriate!
Honestly, this land is everything I could have dreamed of as a Gothic literature and horror movie obsessed teen back in the late 90s.

I'm not usually a universal stan (and I'm more of a Hammer monsters than universal monsters fan) but this land has got my attention. Also, it's very likely that you saw the Benicio del Toro Wolfman movie and forgot all about it because I swear that movie has a way of erasing itself from collective memory.
Now you got me hyped I’m trying not to get too excited just in case it’s not good 😂 I loved the monsters Cafe I was so sad they took it down and put the minions stuff there 😢
I think this land will have a very nice and unique vibe unlike any other place. Even if it’s just a fraction of those concepts.
I just love how the whole place looks like Bloodborne. Will you be there opening day doing mushrooms with Mario?

I think they are going to be using the technology from the Wickerman Coaster at Alton Towers for that windmill.

@pleasestopvlogging More baised on the legend which, in a way, is baise for the movie as well. It is an awesome wooden roller coaster in the United Kingdom. Definitely worth watching on CZcams if you can't get out there. It looks imposing as hell in the day, but at night, it really comes alive.
I can’t wait for Epic & this world is the one I am most looking forward to. I understand that in some areas you will feel the electricity on your skin. The waiters in the steak place are familiars of the vampires scoping out new victims.

I don't think the makeup shop is just for kids. They ran a test a few months ago. It was cool, but also expensive.
What if I bring my own makeup? That has to save some money.

I just hope they don't have a lot of screens. The main dark ride is supposed to use the kuka arm ride system that forbidden journey uses and that ride is nauseating.
Oh no. I got so sick off forbidden journey. It was rough…
It is the same ride system but it will not have the dome screens, mostly practical effects and animatronics
