My first time at six flags was six flags in San Antonio, magic mountain, then discovery kingdom. Didn’t like any of them bc I’m scared of rollercoasters anyway 😂 but this one looks like it really sucks 😊

I would be careful what you say to kids, especially when profane. Make sure to pick your battles with kids in the park (coming from a Hershey ride operator). That being said, I do respect the way you responded to something you know was wrong of the kid.

Good evening. Honestly, I am no longer a fan of Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, MD. I've visited better, like Hershey Park, Kings Dominion, Knoebel's and Disney World. This is a great park for coaster enthusiasts, but everyone who goes to a theme park is not a coaster enthusiast such as myself. I'm more into flat thrill rides and dark rides. Its dumb that this Six Flags took away the Ferris Wheel & Tilt-a-Whirl. $80 for admission, I am not paying a cent for this park. Six Flags America is quite inferior in my opinion.

Hershey Park looks so fun! Unfortunately, as a Cajun girl, I can't go because it's too far! I do love seeing the mascots though, they are so cute! I wish Hershey could open more parks around the world, because they have high quality [AND LOTS OF CHOCOLATE!]. My favorite part of Hershey Park is Chocolate World due to obvious reasons [I ADORE Chocolate, I am basically like the Chocolate Fish from Spongebob].

our state parks around here have water parks in them, we just went to the smallest of the three on saturday. no wave pool like the other two. but the lazy river has a water fall and a small rapids area... or you don't want to get wet on the lazy river, you can go the quite path. the bigger of the three has that same bucket water thing that you saw. If weather shuts down any of these parks while your there, ( no matter how long you've been there!) keep your receipt and you can come back again another day for free! ( Thunder caused it to be shut down on us with only an hour 30 left till park close anyway! We get another day free Baby!)

If you want good local places to eat, head in to Hummelstown and hit Rubber Soul or the Warwick (I think it's called 1792 now since it recently changed hands). The Soda Jerk has a HUGE menu and some really good vegetarian options. Another 10min will take you into Middletown and the Brownstone Diner. Gellato Di Babo is only open Fri/Sat but they have THE BEST Gelato. It's hidden one street back from the main drag. 10/10 do rec. Don't bother with the Hershey Pantry. They changed hands last year and the food SUCKS now.
