So, I first watched this video, after watching all the performances with Pusey and Ashleigh, and I loved them, but out of curiosity I went back and found Jonathan's and Charlotte's audition video to see what they were like, and honestly, as much as I adore animals, I think they should've won instead. Jonathan's voice... was just amazing. I don't even like Opera, but he was great, I loved it, they truly deserved to win. But I still love Pudsey too.
Well, in a world where society is deteriorating quickly, and most teenagers only think about tiktok, sex and alcohol, seeing a nice teenager devoting her life to her love for animals is not a joke. I dont think it's any insult to "lose to a dog". And to be honest, while I did love that duet, there are multiple singing contests and I'd rather have other kind of performances on BGT.

What Ashleigh and Pudsey did are extremely hard especially for a dog to trust their owner so much and to remember all the choreography of several dances. It is constant work everyday. They deserved the win. There are few dogs that could do this. I see only simple tricks even at the circus and Pusey must be extremely focused to not be distracted by crowds and lights.

I am a diehard dog lover, two of my dogs are highly trained and I love them more than anything but they did NOT deserve to beat the kids. That young man was incredibly talented. What a shame. Even my dogs agree.

Yeah I'm an agility dog trainer and they did not deserve this over the singers. My dad is a professional opera singer and he even said they should have one and any opera would be lucky to have Johnathan
People here can be so unaware of the amount of unseen work that goes into Ashleigh and Pudsey's work compared to the singers. It's one thing dealing with another of the same species, practicing and training. But to deal with an entirely different one you can't communicate with as easily makes things significantly more difficult. Training the dog to do a routine of that caliber in strange new environments with new sounds and smells requires a lot of dedication that goes beyond what a singer needs to do to prepare. This is a bond that has been formed over the dog's lifetime and if it were any other mix of breeds, this would fall apart. I see people saying things like "well lots of dogs can do that'" but that's not entirely correct. They require tons of training by experts in the field, dedication, and hard work. If you tried to take your house pet who can dance on stage like this there is a high chance it would probably forget you exist as soon as the crowd began to make noise. This showed so much talent on Ashleigh's part and that people are discrediting her as a girl with a cute dog is actually appalling. No, she's a talented trainer and storyteller who has learned how to communicate with her dog on a level few actually get to.

People don't seem to understand how HARD it is to train a dog. You can't compare two completely different and both equally great acts and say one's better. As a singer, I know they're amazing - like, reeeeally amazing - I can only dream to be like them, but as someone who works with dogs, it's very, very, hard to get them to do tricks like that. Ashleigh worked incredibly hard for years and years (in the middle of her GCSEs, might I add) and it paid off You can't be bitter about that.

I never saw the shows originally. Only stumbled upon them today. Pudsey was adorable. But......Jonathan and Charlotte were MAGNIFICENT!!!!! I cannot believe this outcome.
To all the ignorant people saying that Ashleigh and Pudsey shouldn't of won: It is very hard to train a dog to do such stunts very well because a dog is a different animal altogether with a different brain to ours which makes it harder to train such a dog. It just takes so much passion and so much patience to train a dog to do stunts perfectly. Jonathan and Charlotte did good too, not excellent, but they still did good. It still would take time to sing such good, but who knows, they might of have been born with that talent. And with a dog, you need to train it for years, years and years. I hope I proved my point.

A bond that strong between a dog and a human can sometimes be impossible to form. For a 16 year old to train, groom and be a huge idol in this dogs life is absolutely amazing. Almost anyone can sing, but not everyone can train a dog to this extent. So it's not just a "cute dog" act. It takes forever to train a dog.
Ashleigh and Pudsey were the real winners. That's what this video is all about, even though it has turned into their win, and the people that can't handle that having a cry about it. They won.

But there is no stronger bond than an owner and a dog. I just saw the video of the girl and the dog, and it was cute. But Johathan Antonie and Charlotte Jaconelli defiantly deserved winning 1st way more. By comparing the two performances, I'm still in shock how they lost. Britain's got Talent show 2012, needed a reality check.

People be barking in the comment section while Pudsey is resting in peace with that price. Sizzy's, talents are not just singing or dancing. If the dog melted the public's heart with its talent then why question their vote. It's their right to choose which one they want to win. Imagine, the patience Ashley had to train Pudsey, and decided to join the competition hoping the act won't mess up. No offense to Charlotte and Jonathan they are great. But the public already made the decision and that's that.
I feel so sorry for them, they deserved to win. My f*cking dog can dance, & even if his one of my best friends, I would not even have let him "win" in such a 'talent' show. Cause after all, they're looking for something special, not some average dog that can jump around to the sound of music & their owners f*cking around on stage.

For those of you saying that the dog SHOULD'NT have won, post a video and show us what your dog can do. Ashely and Pudsy literally inspired me to try to teach my dog these types of tricks and they only learned, sit, speak, rollover, and lay down. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.

Actually, yeah, there was a comment like that when I got to the video. And I'm saying that it the world doesn't revolve around "you" meaning a single person-- not anyone in particular, but those who were making those comments.
But, yes, I think the other pair should've won because they have some real talent. Anyone can teach their dog some tricks but not just anyone can sing like they do.

I never saw the shows originally. Only stumbled upon them today. Pudsey was adorable. But......Jonathan and Charlotte were MAGNIFICENT!!!!! I cannot believe this outcome.

To all the ignorant people saying that Ashleigh and Pudsey shouldn't of won:
It is very hard to train a dog to do such stunts very well because a dog is a different animal altogether with a different brain to ours which makes it harder to train such a dog. It just takes so much passion and so much patience to train a dog to do stunts perfectly. Jonathan and Charlotte did good too, not excellent, but they still did good. It still would take time to sing such good, but who knows, they might of have been born with that talent. And with a dog, you need to train it for years, years and years.

A bond that strong between a dog and a human can sometimes be impossible to form. For a 16 year old to train, groom and be a huge idol in this dogs life is absolutely amazing. Almost anyone can sing, but not everyone can train a dog to this extent. So it's not just a "cute dog" act. It takes forever to train a dog.

I mean, I think everyone in this comment section should look on both of the performers. The opera singers were very good, and had a lot of promising talent. But there is no stronger bond than an owner and a dog. Look on the bright side, we won't see a talent that is pretty commonly seen as some people in the comments mentioned, but this was the first winner of BGT that was a dog.
The singers' talent is everlasting. The dog is going to die eventually and then what? Judges definitely made the wrong choice.
