I played guitar on the original session...u guys sound great!
Oh man, what an honor! I played your parts in this video. We always wondered about that solo, was it a b-bender or not?
I bought this record yesterday, it is so good and it's sad to think it didn't get the recognition it deserves at the time. Thanks for contributing in bringing this art to life
I am a gene Clark fanatic love his songwriting I have since I was just a kid what a great cover of this song my hats are off to all who took part in it two thumbs up
How cool. I heard Gene was such a kind guy?
I’m sure Leland would approve of the bass 👏
This performance is nothing short of magical.
aren't the backup girls bloody incredible, . .they give me shivers
great job on the guitar solo.....! I played on the original song!
Great to see so much put into recreating this Gene Clark classic.
I miss Fleet Foxes so much...love Robin, always, what an amazing cover and what a humble and profound man... :)
0:36 Giving Robin them eyes...
Daaaemn...
I can't believe I'm seeing and hearing this. Y'all are beautiful.
We're Sergeant Pecknold's lonely hearts club band
We hope you have enjoyed the show
kudos to the guitar player..nailed the original soloby Gerry McGee..
Ya’ll nailed it. This video is getting me through Corona Time. Thank you for the soulful sounds.
WHY HAVE I ONLY JUST FOUND THIS
good to hear his voice again
What a great cover.
I sincerely hope that the recently mentioned third Fleet Foxes LP isn't too far away.
love you more Robin
Just can't get enough of this! Great song, great rendition
This is the very best we have considering there's no live video of the man himself doing this album
Man! What a performance!
this is so fantastic. this LP by mr. clark is in my top ten for life. these boys do a fantastic job!!
Just fantastic
Cricket Arrison, sings them harmonies like nobody never, man!
Fan bloody tastic
This is terrific.
Great job on this one!!!
FOLK GAME KARL MALONE MY BOY ROBIN ALWAYS DELIVERS
I do believe I was there that night. Was this at MHoW? Vaguely remember thinking Hamilton Leithauser was there too but I might be conflating super happy memories.
Well done. One of the best things in life maybe in finding out you were thinking you were lost, alone and afraid when in fact you never were. Whether it was all your fault or all your doing and gain it still seems fleeting, meaning seems useless in the face of a higher power, as it will turn out as it should for whatever reason, if you so choose to play the fool in that game that also maybe your choice and decision to make but ultimately it depends on how you perceive it and how you gamble with your life.
Victoria Legrand at 2:03?!?
I suspect that this clean cut look is a means to blend in with the college crowd while Mr. Pecknold has been pursuing his degree. Dear Mr. Pecknold, If you ever get around to resurrecting the band we are all thinking about, please throw away you're Bic razor and stop visiting your barber. A fox needs his fur.
there's history here eh, . .
i dig this song tho, tight band, catchy roll to it, and those backup girls, wow, perfect of them,
Anyway, no disrespect, dont know why i spoke really, cheers man
Stoned, numb, and drifting…. Hard to be profound. Boy he was some incredible lyricist.
he should put out a country album
IMAGINE 😭♥️
What an instant classic that would be
strange to see him with short hair, and without his guitar
I think one of the back-up singers is Olive Oyl... or Cyndi Lauper.
haha weird seeing him with short hair and no beard
He looks like a different man. Same great voice, though.
30 people just to play 2 notes I thought I was at church
KJam206 its called layering derpa
+KJam206 2 notes? You obviously don't know anything about music. No soup for you!
Dont ever commend on this one again, you just don,t know, stay on your own tracks
This song is not even “2 notes”. It is a fully structured composition
LMAO WTF😂
... no black Artists i can see of? ...
Wrong group
