I love Edita and Renata very much also, but for me Anna is the most moving.
I am spiritually tuned in to each of them, but to Anna most of all.
Each has a unique interpretation and portrayal. So wonderful to appreciate each one in their very distinct, yet extremely beautiful ways!
Thank God for the gifts He gives each one to delight us so deeply.
We all hear differently, all touched differently.

ls che nelle variazioni dell'aria la distanzia ....la Devia con un canto belliniano esatto e molto angelicato, e La Ricciarelli da Giovane ...un vero timbro estatico...e capisco cosa mi mancasse per emozionarmi...un'altro paragone ...con Giovanna D'Arco e Anna Bolena....grande produzioni...grande mestiere.Ecco mi levo un sassolino dalla scarpa...ormai i microfoni aiutano queste Artiste...ma se sei in Teatro in una posizione sorda...si ha l'effetto di ascoltare una voce piatta...e terribilmente troppo facilitate le arie?.Per dare un'idea si sfiora la commedia musicale.Quest'anno Il Trovatore...alla Scala ho regalato il biglietto...chi è andato è tornato entusiasta,...sono diventato un vecio dinosauro!!!!???....evviva la musica!!!!

This recording is from dress rehearsal. Joyce Di Donato sings Romeo's part. Both are wonderful ! All performacnce , staging, costumes are excellent.
Netrebko is pregnant here, and she quited soon after premiere. perhaps this is last recording of her voice before it has been changed after giving birth of her son. It's a pitty there isn't better quality recording...
It isn't the last one. There is one from a concert at the end of the summer, she is heavy pregnant by then. This one is better.

Anna touches the heart strings of my soul as no other performer has ever done. I feel like she, the characters she plays, and I are somehow united, they feel so real to me. The timbre of her voice also makes me feel that I could comfortably listen to her forever. In her, I feel like I have a musical soul mate. From her interviews, I have also the perception that Anna is a very beautiful person inside, open, unpretentious.

My father, born Tara, North of Omsk, was a touring professional musician in the former Yugoslavia and parts of Italy, but that was before I was born, indeed before WWII. He played a number of instruments.
At home we spoke only Russian. When I was a child, teenager he would play on the piano accordion and we would sing Russian folk songs.
Today, Chaliapin still remains my favourite.
Sometimes I am very much in the mood to listen to, and sing along, with Russian folk songs. ☺

I think Sutherland was a fabulous Guiletta. She was the queen of Bel Canto.
Yes, Joan really was unique and she was one of the greatest singers indeed, but she never sang Bellinis "Giulietta" on stage. She just sang this wonderful romance in one of her last recital recordings publiced by DECCA.

I like A. Netrebko. Saw her at the Met in Verdi's Macbeth last September. Fine performance. I also saw her at the Met's HD performances of Lucia and Elixir. I suspect that it is not so easy for her to sustain the high notes with ease like it was for JS. You must have heard of Sondra Radvanovsky from Berwyn, IL. She as been complimented as taking her place alongside Sutherland and Callas. It was stated on the marquis at the box office at the Met.

Con el compositor Bellini ya los recitativos tienden a ser más bonitos pero lo genial es cuando entra el área propiamente dicha cambia totalmente la música y por descontado el canto punto y final saludos

“most beautiful”, “best”, are not expressions that I use about music as they make no sense to me, neither experientially, nor if I try to mathematically model musical pieces.
First guess would be a partial ordering on a high dimensional vector space, most pieces incomparable to others. I think no supremum, much less linear ordering. “most anything” or “best” can make no sense. Also, can be no unique metric by which to compare them.

Adoro questa voce e il suo colore,purtroppo per me Signora Netrebko è una donna incosciente e maleducata per me.

Почему здесь всё не пропето Анной как написано?Все piano на вокальных гласных недопеты нужно "посидеть" на них побольше да и голос тут "никто не отменял"..
Я вообще не понимаю восхищений..ну плохо она Джульетту исполнила, плохо. И динамика соблюдена абы как.

Il ruolo di Giulietta è il puro belcanto ,fatto di suoni purissimi ,attacchi precisi ,fraseggio ,legato ,dizione ,tutte caratteristiche che non appartengono alla Netrebko ,lei spara voce acuti ,ma SOLO QUESTO NON SERVE ,non mi piace

Way too dark, heavy, impure and out of tune, portending the vocal disaster she has become. You can actually hear her vocal cords fraying throughout. No Bel Canto here.

분명히 잘하는데 이 아리아를 부르기엔 소리가 너무 무거워서 내 취향은 아닌 것 같음. 넵트렌코는 풍부한 성량과 무겁고 힘있는 톤을 갖고 있어서 벨칸토보다는 베리스모 쪽이 훨씬 어울린다고 생각함.
